Get Saved! Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior!

By:  Gordon King

God Loves You! God loves everyone. He hates sin. God does get angry when His creations turn their backs on Him and continue in sin. God has given His only begotten Son so that we may be forgiven of all of our sins (past, present and yes, even in the future) and give us everlasting life with Him. He has given all of us the opportunity to accept His free gift of salvation. It costs you nothing. You don’t need to do anything. No strings attached. God gave everything, His only begotten Son, His life for us. Just believe in Jesus. Believe in your heart that He died on the cross and shed His blood to cover all of your sins and give you everlasting life! Believe that He was buried in a tomb for 3 days and then arose from the dead and ascended into Heaven to be with The Father. Repent of your sins and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Ask Him to come into your heart and dwell inside of you. That’s it.

1 Timothy 2:5-7

“For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time, for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle—I am speaking the truth in Christ and not lying—a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.”

Romans 10:13

For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

(You do not need to be baptized in physical water in order to be saved….Please read..)

John 3:16

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

What is repentance?

Freedictionary.com definition:

1. To feel remorse, contrition, or self-reproach for what one has done or failed to do; be contrite.

2. To feel such regret for past conduct as to change one’s mind regarding it: repented of intemperate behavior.

3. To make a change for the better as a result of remorse or contrition for one’s sins.
.

Repentance means to be truly sorry for the sins that you have committed and change your mind regarding those sins. All of them. Ask Jesus to forgive you for all of your sins. Try your best to not keep committing sins. If you will truly accept Jesus as your Lord and are truly sorry for committing your sins then you will want to please God. You will try not to sin. You will not be alone. Jesus will fill you with His Holy Spirit, to dwell with you in your body.  Pray daily for God’s help and encouragement.  He will help you!

What is the Holy Spirit? God is composed of a Trinity. God the Father, Jesus the Son (God in the flesh) and His spirit, the Holy Spirit.

If you are now ready to accept Jesus, please believe and pray the “Sinner’s Prayer” below.  I don’t want to lead anyone astray, it’s not the prayer that saves people, it’s Jesus Christ!  It’s by repenting and believing that Jesus Christ is God and accepting Him as your God.  The prayer is merely a guideline to assist you in praying to God.  Remember, it’s having a change of mind regarding your sin and believing in Jesus Christ as your God that is important and vital to your salvation.

God Bless You!     😉

For what to do after being saved please see the information below.    Hallelujah!

Sinner's Prayer

What next?

Read the bible daily. God’s word is food for the soul. It feeds our spirit. It also gives us an outline on how we are to live our life. How we should treat others. It is an owners manual for humans. The way it was meant to be. Don’t worry if you don’t understand it all. It takes time and patience. Pray to God that he helps to open your eyes and your heart. To understand and know His words.

Join a study group or with a friend and study the bible together. Studying the bible with others is a good way to learn God’s word. It helps to worship God with others and to learn from others.

Join a local church. Going to church is not mandatory, but it is a good way to learn and hear the word of God and worship the Lord. It is also important to be around other believers to help strengthen your faith and soul.  Many churches these days have strayed away from the truth, some are teaching false doctrines, others are not teaching the whole truth such as bible prophecy.  Do your best to try and find a bible believing church that teaches the whole truth.

Pray to God daily. Being a Christian is not a religion. Religions are traditions and acts that we perform for Gods acceptance. We are already accepted by God. Being a Christian is a personal relationship with God. Learn to speak to God as you would your mother or father. This will build your relationship and bring you much closer to God. Pray to God often. Pray in private. Be respectful to God. Don’t be demanding. Although, God does want us to ask Him for things. He wants us to turn to Him for all of our needs. But, He does not want us to be greedy or selfish. This is another reason to go to church and study with other Christians. You will learn how to pray and what to pray for. It is a learning experience.

Water baptism. Although this is not required to be saved, however, we are commanded to do so. This is an act of your faith in God and His salvation. To show God that you are committed to Him.

Continue to walk with the Lord daily. No one on earth is perfect. We all sin. We all make mistakes and sometimes walk away from God. We must turn back to God. Try to stay close to God. Repent of your sins to God daily. God is not mean or harsh. He is just and loving. Ask God for help when you need it. Ask Him to guide you and use you as He wills. Ask Him for enlightenment and encouragement. God wants to help us. He is so happy to help and supply us with our needs. Do not be afraid to ask God questions, to let Him know when you are angry, in pain or upset. He needs to hear it from you. He wants you to be open with Him. He already knows these things. But, He needs to hear it from you. As an act of faith.

Spread the Word of God. Jesus has commanded us to spread the “Good News”. What is the “Good News”? It is the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is God returning to earth in human form as a man. A man named Jesus. He is the Messiah. The Savior of the world. He sacrificed His own life for everyone who will accept Him. He died on the cross and shed His blood to pay for our sins and give us eternal life with Him. He was buried in the tomb and remained there for three days then arose and ascended into Heaven to be with The Father. Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved! This is what God has commanded us to share with the world. So that all may be saved. Some will accept Christ’s salvation, however, many more will turn away from God.

God Bless you! Jesus Loves you more than you know. I look forward to the day when I will meet the Lord in the sky and return to Heaven!   Praise God.     😉

  2. Thank you for putting this up, god bless!
If there is anything else i can do to be closer to jesus plz let me know, i accept him and i can feel him in my bones, but sometimes i let him down and when i do i know. And i feel really badly.

  3. When you feel like you are letting God down and you feel it, that is God convicting you of sin. That is a good thing, then you know you are saved. You need to repent of your sin and ask God to forgive you.

To get closer to God you should make sure that you pray every day. I pray morning, noon and night. I pray throughout the day. God wants you to talk to him, and let him know how you feel, the problems you are having and the good things as well. Turn your problems over to God and let him handle them. Read the bible daily. Study God’s word. All of this will bring you closer to God. Give God thanks in all things. Praise God and worship only him (the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit). God is composed of a trinity but is one! It is difficult for our human minds to understand. God is so great! We cannot even imagine just how great that he is.

Praise God! Amen for your devotion to our Lord and Savior! I pray for God to bless you, strengthen your faith and guide you along your path!

  11. That is so awesome! You will be truly blessed! God loves you so much, you cannot even imagine. Praise God! Talk to God daily, just as you would a friend, yet with respect as an elder. He will listen to you. Read the bible daily, this is the word of God, and how he communicates with us.

    Amen! 😉

  40. You do have to be baptized by the water to be saved Jesus said in john 3:5 verily verily I say unto you unless a man is born of water and the spirit he cannot enter the kingdom
Jesus tells us right there we can’t enter heaven unless we are baptized by the water and the holy spirit

  41. Jesus wanted us to be baptized in water as an act of faith in our salvation. This should be the first thing we do after being saved, but is not required.

  42. Please take the time to study the bible and it’s interpretation. If something is not so clear, you must compare these passages with other passages in the bible. You are quoting scripture from John, study the rest of what John had to say, please don’t take scripture out of context.

If Jesus meant that we need to be “baptized in water” in order to be saved then, the bible contradicts itself in many places. This is not true.

The passage you are quoting does not say “unless one is baptized by the water”, it says “unless one is born of water and spirit”. Two very different things.

Jesus says that he is the “living water” (spiritually speaking):

John 7:37-39 (Rivers of Living Water)
37 On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. 38 Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’ ” 39 Now this he said about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were to receive, for as yet the Spirit had not been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

    John 4:10
10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

    Titus 3:5
    5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

    1 Corinthians 6:11
11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

You see, the Spirit of God is the “living water”. This is what he meant when he said “you must be born of the water and the spirit”. Not of physical earthly water, but of Holy Spiritual water, living water. The water of God, the “Holy Spirit”. When you believe in Jesus and are born again, you are anointed with the Holy Spirit, filled with living water. I don’t know about you, but when I was saved, I was filled with God’s living water, and I felt it rushing through every fiber of my body.

    John 3:16
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

When Jesus was on the cross, there were two criminals on crosses next to him, one on the right and one on the left.
    Luke 23:42-43
42 And he was saying, “Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom!” 43 And He said to him, “Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise.”
Did this man get baptized in water? No! How did he have a chance to get baptized in water, he was dying while nailed to a cross! He merely believed that Jesus was God. That’s it. Jesus told him that he will be with him TODAY! in Paradise. Think about it.

Please read this and study a bit more. Pray for God to give you vision and truth in understanding. Amen 😉

  57. I feel sorry for you! The furthest thing from my mind is the fear of dying. I look forward to dying. I know that I will be in a better place.
What if I am right? You will suffer eternity in Hell, that’s a long, long time. If you are right, then, nothing. I will die. That’s it. Think about it.

This is a message from God to you. Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. He is the only way to heaven. Believe in Jesus Christ. He is at your door right now knocking. Will you let him in or will you reject him? The choice is yours, you have a free will. No one will force you.
    God Bless! 🙂

I WANT IT .. Anonymous , i think if you get your relationship back to god .. you will see .. because in this situation .. to believe is to see .. God Bless My friend .. This is the opportunity .. take it !

  62. I see that Gordon is well versed in Scripture, which is great. but despite your belief, baptism IS necessary for salvation. in John 3:5 Jesus said that unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he did NOT say born of the “living water”, meaning himself. The original Koine Greek word for water in John 3:5 is the same water that comes out of our faucets. If baptism is not necessary for salvation then why did God allow those passages into the Bible? 2 Timothy 3:16 states that “ALL Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness”. If all Scripture is given by the inspiration of God, where is the sinner’s prayer found at in the Bible? it’s not! therefore, it was not inspired by the Holy Spirit and is false doctrine. As for the point that you bring up regarding the criminal on the cross, I would suggest that you study up a bit more on that subject. In Luke chapter 10, Jesus appointed seventy men to go ahead of him and preach that the kingdom of God is near. Up to this point in the Scriptures, the accepted baptism that was taking place was the baptism of repentance being preached by John the Baptist and his followers. How do you know that the criminal who was dying next to our Lord hadn’t previously been baptized by John or one of his followers? One more question regarding the thief on the cross. What covenant were the people under when Jesus was dying on the cross? the OLD covenant!!! Jesus had authority on earth to forgive sins under that OLD covenant, the thief didn’t need to be baptized due to the fact that the new covenant had not been established yet because Jesus had not resurrected because he had not died!! The new covenant and the terms of that new covenant are clearly laid out in Acts chapter 2:38 when the apostle Peter, inspired of the Holy Spirit, states, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” If you say that baptism is not necessary then that means that God made a mistake when he put the book of Acts in the Scriptures, seeing as every person that was saved in the book of Acts was saved through immersion, not a sinner’s prayer. There is not one account that we read about in Scripture where someone was saved by saying a prayer and asking Jesus into their heart. I would love to talk with you more if you would be interested. My name is Justin Snow.

  63. Where is the word “bible” found in scripture? It’s not, yet we believe in the bible. Where is the word “rapture” found in the bible? It’s not, yet we believe in the rapture. The sinners prayer is merely following the commands of our Lord and Savior, it is also known as the sinners prayer.

Jesus tells us quite clearly that believe in Him and we shall be saved. That’s it! Nothing more, nothing less. If we are to be baptized in water first, then it is not only Jesus who is saving us, but we are also saving ourselves. This is a blasphemy against God Himself. For it is He and only He who saves us. We are not saved by anything that we do ourselves.

I am saved. I have the Holy Spirit of God within me. I know right from wrong, truth from fiction. You believe what you wish, and I will believe what I wish. I am not going to argue with you about this. I know in my heart, my soul and in my mind what is correct and what is not.

When you tell me that I am teaching a false doctrine, I do take offense to that, as does our Father in Heaven.

God Bless, and may the Lord of Heaven open your eyes to the full truth. Amen

  64. when taken in the proper context, there is not ONE command of praying for salvation in scripture. the verses in Romans that refer to “believe and you will be saved”, those verses were written to people who were already baptized believers, just look at Romans 1:7, it states, “to all in Rome who are loved by called to be saints”. saints is the term that is given to those that have followed the command of baptism. if baptism is not necessary then what method do you use to nullify what Jesus himself said in Matthew 28:18-20. Jesus commanded baptism before his ascension. it was the last command that was given. in reality, what you are saying when you say that baptism is not necessary; you are saying that Jesus did not mean what he said. i would encourage you to study the new testament in the Koine Greek. it is very clear the commands of Christ. Acts 2:38, Colossians 2:12, 1 Peter 3:21, Galatians 3:27, Matthew 28:18-20. there are many verses that clearly state that baptism is necessary.

  65. my eyes are fully open to the truth of His Word. i know beyond a shadow of a doubt that baptism is the “narrow gate, and few will find it”.

  66. There is not a single place in Scripture, when taken in context, where we are commanded to pray and ask Jesus into our hearts. The verses in Romans that state “believe in Jeus……..and you will be saved”, those verses were written to Christians who were beginning to fall away. Romans 1:7 states “To all in Rome who are loved by God and called to be saints”. Those people were already Christians, it was not a command for first time converts. I am sorry, Gordon, that you feel that my eyes are not open to the truth. I have accepted every word of Scripture as pure truth, by saying that baptism is not necessary you are essentially saying that there are parts of Scripture that dont matter and are not necessary. Acts 2:38, Colossians 2:12, Galatians 3:27, 1 Peter 3:21, and every conversion in the book of Acts was done by baptism. As for the “work” of baptism, when one is baptized there is no work being done by the individual. The work of washing away our sins is done by God himself when we humble ourselves and are obedient to his command. If baptism is a “work” that you claim saves us, then what is the “sinner’s prayer”? There is no more work being done in baptism than there is saying a prayer. Baptism is the “narrow gate, and few will find it”. Many have been blinded by Satan with the false doctrine of saying a prayer for salvation, and I pray that God will help you to see the truth of this matter.

  67. I never said that baptism is work that saves us, that is what you are claiming. I also never said that the scripture does not matter, please do not twist my words and make false claims against me or I shall black list you. If you choose to disagree with me fine, but it is not from the Holy Spirit of God to condemn a fellow believer.
You are wrong in what you say about the sinner’s prayer and baptism. Sinner’s prayer is a change of heart not a physical act as is water baptism.

Why should I read it? Any particular reason?

  70. I have read the book “23 Minutes in Hell”, and that really made me think of my decisions in life. If that is what Hell is all about, I certainly do NOT want to even get a glimpse of it. That book needs to be read by ALL believers and Non believers. God Bless everyone and keep your faith in Jesus Christ! ❤

  71. To the person who thinks there is no afterlife and who mocks Jesus, I could honestly cry right now, literally. PLEASE do yourself a favour and accept Jesus. You will lose NOTHING, TRUST ME. At one point of my life, I was like you, an unbeliever. As I look back today, I regret every bit of my lack of faith in Jesus. Every single bit of it. If you still reject Jesus, I will seriously sob. Psalm 126 says: “Those who sow in tears shall weep with joy”. I cry for you because I love you as a sister in Christ. If you do accept Jesus, I am willing to mail you a Bible. I am serious. Jesus loves you; He doesn’t want you to go to Hell. Hell is meant for the devil, not for us. You still have a choice now, and it’s an easy one. Take it. God has something AWESOME in store for you if you do! You will experience happiness and peace like never before! How wonderful! 🙂

  74. I am new to your insightful website Gordan King and agree with you on so many levels.. I believe you are a true believer and watcher and am grateful for your inspiration.
Jesus himself was baptized -immerse in water – (Jesus carried the sins of the world) to show us to get rid of self and follow God and his ways. By being immerse in water,(true baptism) your surrendering your life of sin and becoming a new creation in God. Spiritually born again by faith. I believe being baptized is showing God respect and that you mean what you say in choosing to follow/abide in him. Showing others that your committed, trying to live a pure and holy life through God’s grace.
Inviting Jesus into your heart is a personal decision, no one can make it for you. Choosing to do good in every aspect of your life. Trying every day to live your life in accordance to His commandments His truths His will.
“He said He is the way, the truth and the life’ to follow him. He IS our Savior, our Lord and if we truly love him we would follow His lead.
Abide in Jesus Christ and bear the fruit of the (His) spirit, by having a personal relationship with Jesus, spending some time with him, time in worship, prayer and the His holy word. Making a conscious act to accept Jesus and His saving grace is having faith. One faith, One God, one baptism.
That being said, I also believe God wouldn’t hold it against you if you can’t be baptized because of reason not of your choosing,
but not being able to is not an excuse for not doing so if you can.
In the end it’s between you and God… AND
Having the testimony of Jesus (faith in God the Father, Jesus Christ the son and the Holy Spirit that guides us)
AND keeping the commandments are what saves us in this time of trouble and for eternity.
“So let us thank God for giving us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Cor.15:58
    God bless, Aida Parent

  75. Thank you for your kind words Aida. God is love. He will not hold it against us if we cannot physically or mentally for some reason get baptized in water.
This is not a condition of our salvation, but a sign of our obedience to Him once we are saved. So if we are able, let us follow the commands of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He gave so much for us, we should give Him all that we can.
    God Bless!

  76. And thank you Gordan King,
May the Lord keep you save in all ways, especially in continuing with this website. I fear the time is coming when messages like this will be ‘red flagged’, and not available…. Keep fighting the Good fight. Peace be with you!

This anonymous guy is thinking materialistic. The Lord Creator made us of matter and spirit. we are not only molecules. We have a soul!Even Plato describes it, along with christian saints and prophets, and with muslim prophets also, and even Buda accepts the ascending to a “Nirvana” after the end of physical Life.
How come in so many different religions and beliefs – which contradict one another in some parts, – there is one totally acceptable truth? : That there is life after what we call “death” but in a different plane of existance! ???
And we have some people , atheysts no-god-believers that do not believe in soul, in spirit, and in life after death. These people are deceived

  103. Hello, My name is Chris Hawley I have lived in sin I came to reknew my vow to god regardless to what ever people say I believe that jesus is come back and hope not to bare witness to the suffering but I want to help keep everyone I can safe from this Anti Christ deal if it happens (If he is or isn’t) I cant allow anyone to get hurt like they planned but if its God will It has to be done
Guys I love everyone but have a hard time expressing it.

I went to a church a few years ago when I just went there and was like I want to help they said no you have to be here for a while
me and my Girl friend got engaged but she had sexual relations with my brother he said no I want allow myself to marry you 2 I loved her she loved me later on about a year later we split because she told me she was raped when we were in a relationship and refused to take it to the law
so I felt like she intended to do it and she kept throwing me this ( would you rather me have sex with someone you do no or don’t no) I said thank you lord I didn’t marry her

I can careless about money ect like I tell everyone even my mom, My mom keeps talk and talking and talking about money bothers meh so much I don’t no I’m the weird one in this family that don’t care about money but I will go to school just to learn and have a little fun I want to help but cant because I have no money to do anything regardless to what ever it is all I can do is hope help people on the games I play in which its hard to do almost impossible I fail every time instead I get angry at then for not caring in which we can talk about Noah. Noah was blind my Jesus because he got angry and destroyed the ten commandments
I’m half blind in 1 eye but i’v been that way all my life. everywhere I go I Sinned almost so I locked my self up in my room for 4/5 years every time someone talks about money I get abit crazed about it because I don’t care for it Money is nothing but Blood Money to me never no where that bill came from but I do no it feels good to have money to do things but to me is it really worth it
I can help my family in my own ways and anyone but I have a hard time talking to people I don’t no its easy on a computer but tough on the outside

all I want is to finally be happy but I have found it you don’t need a women, money or anything but Christ he will set you free

I no that most of this is gibberish but I wanted to share part of my life with you and sorry if anything don’t make since

Thanks Again hope to meet you guys in heaven ❤

    Chris

  104. Thanks for your testimony Chris! God knows we all have been through some tough times. All of us are tempted at one time or another, and each one of us has our trials and tribulations to go through. But what really matters is the ability for us to see the truth, to know in our hearts what is really important in life. Without the truth, then all we have are lies, and the inability to know the Lord.
    God Bless Chris!

  141. Thanks for your comment chezwin. I agree with you. The world that we live in is all about the here and the now, living for today, for the moment. Sadly, even many believers live for today and not for our eternal destiny.

  158. Thank you for your website, very informative and I enjoy reading it.
However there are a couple of things that kind of bug me. I hope I do not offend, I do not come with these intentions.
First, i would like to note that Jesus is the only Begotten Son of God, our Heavenly Father. Not the only son. God loves all of us so much because we are all his children too. In your writing it comes across as Jesus is God’s only child.
Second, you refer to being baptized by water and that it is not necessary. The scriptures tell us it is the first step towards God and we must be baptized as Jesus, our example, was baptized by immersion by water. Same as He did and by someone with the same authority to baptize.
Lastly, going to church is also in the scriptures and what Jesus wanted us to do. If we are to follow Christ, we should not pick and choose what we can do. We should do what He has told us and shown us to do.
I believe that Jesus Christ came to earth to show us the way back to our Heavenly Father. He formed His true church while He was here and we are to follow that, not all the man are ones…..

Thanks, I really do enjoy your thoughts on this blog.

  159. Thanks for your comments RL. Not all of us will agree on all things, however I am strongly convicted in my belief of salvation, as this is how I was saved! I was not physically baptized in water for several years after I received Christ, yet I was filled with His Spirit immediately!

I do see what you are saying about God’s Son, I will change that, however I thought it clear with the capital “S” in Son, as He is not merely God’s Son, but is God Himself.

I do not believe that a person must be baptized in water to be saved. There are many types of baptism and I wrote my reasons for believing this.

Does a person need to be baptized in water to be saved?

Baptism in physical water is an outward sign of our love and devotion to Christ, and something we should do, but not necessary for salvation. Did the criminal on the cross who believed in Christ as God have a chance to come down off the cross and get physically baptized in water? No, Yet Jesus told him “Today you will be with me in Paradise!”

As far as going to church, I believe that we should, however it is not necessary for our salvation. Also, we are the church, wherever we gather together in the name of Christ is the church. Church is not merely a physical building or location. We ourselves are the temple of God. There are Christians in Egypt who worship God in a cave. Not all believers have a physical church close to them, others may not have the opportunity to go for some reason, such as living in a country where Christianity is outlawed, and others cannot go for many possible reasons, perhaps a physical disability or lack of transportation.

These are my thoughts and my beliefs, you can disagree.

    God Bless!

  171. I am in doubt as I went through a spirit attack for years and trusted jesus I prayed and I asked him to remove it I confessed my sins and try to give my life to jesus but he made everything worse for me letting the enemy attack badly and was badly let down by Christians they don’t care for others only themselves but I did find a very good healer that did the healing way I asked and working very well why didn’t jesus do it this way when I asked him time and time again jesus turned me mental health issues when a healer removed it !!!!!!

  172. Thanks for sharing your comment Jason!

You said that you “tried” to give your life to Jesus? You need to repent of all of your sins, then believe that Jesus Christ is God, and accept Him as your Lord and Savior! You need to turn your life over to Jesus! Repentance means to have a change of heart regarding your sins, that you plan on not doing them anymore and you are sincerely sorry for them, not just confessing them!

We all go through trials and tribulations in our life Jason, even Christians. Christians are not immune from satanic attacks, in fact, the closer a believer gets to God, the more he or she is attacked by demonic spirits! However, God will protect a believer, and demonic spirits cannot harm them without permission from God.

I am sorry to hear that you had negative experiences with the Christians that you met, perhaps they were not truly saved! Not everyone who claims to be a Christian truly is! People of the world look at what Christians do and how they act to base their opinions of God, when they should actually be looking to Jesus Christ! We all make mistakes, and sometimes even Christians sin, however God will forgive us. People cannot save us, only Jesus Christ has the power to save. Turn to God when in need, He is the one to help us, to heal us, and to comfort us!

It sounds to me like you really didn’t give God a chance since you say that you went to a healer. Be very careful what you do, you can open yourself up to demonic spirits and many more attacks, even demonic possession! Healing if not from God is sorcery! Those who practice sorcery will not inherit the kingdom of God! The bible warns us to stay away from such things! God will forgive you if you are saved and repent.

    Galatians 5:20-21
“Idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.”

Even demonic spirits can perform miracles!

    Matthew 24:24
“For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.”

    2 Thessalonians 2:9
“The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders,”

I don’t have all the answers on why God does or doesn’t do things, or why He does things in His own time, but He does! Our ways are not His ways, and our thoughts are not His thoughts.

    Isaiah 55:8
‘ “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD.’

The only way to truly be free is to repent of all your sins, get it out of your life, believe with all of your heart that Jesus Christ is God, and ask Him to be your Lord and Savior! It’s about having a personal relationship with the God of the universe! It takes daily devotion and prayer to God, and it is a learning and growing process.

    John 3:16
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life!”

    John 14:6
‘Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.’

I suggest that you find some true believers in Jesus Christ and ask them to help you with this, perhaps an Evangelical church. They can help you to accept Christ, and give you some godly advice and wisdom. Don’t give up on God, He hasn’t given up on you! He loves you more than you will ever know! Make the right choice, your eternal destination depends on it.

Have you read my book on the website: “Overcoming the Darkness with Jesus Christ”?

I know what darkness is I’ve been there and I’ve seen it, much more than what is even written in the book! I’ve witnessed demonic possession, and if you ever did then you would certainly be placing your trust, faith, and life in Jesus Christ! I’ve walked through the valley of the shadow of death, I know pain and suffering first hand, and yet God healed me!

I hope this helps Jason! I really do! May the good Lord soften your heart and open your eyes to the truth. May He give you visions of Himself, convict you of your sins, and lead you to salvation! In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

  193. All Christians will die and know the truth that there is no heaven and no hell. God does not exist, and neither does any meaning which you receive from It. Either kill yourselves, or give up this pointless crusade.

  194. Thanks for your comment Kevin!

We shall all die Kevin, each and every one of us. The question is where will you go after you die?

    Hebrews 9:27

“And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,”

What is your purpose here on earth? To be born of slime and then die?! How can you get order from disorder, order from chaos and confusion? You can’t! What are the odds of the universe and man beginning from nothing? The odds are so astronomical they are impossible. Have you ever given that any thoughtful research or consideration? And lets just say that it did, still you cannot get something from nothing if nothing existed. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that out.

The bible does not need to be proven true, it speaks for itself and proves itself to be the truth. Even science and archaeology substantiate the bible. The more that is discovered the more the truth of the bible and God are revealed.

You either accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior or you accept the god of this world (Satan) as your Lord, whether you want to or not. No other choices. And when you die then you will know the truth, forever, in either heaven or hell, the choice is yours now while you are still alive.

You don’t know how much time you have left on earth, maybe a day, maybe a year, maybe ten years? The point is you don’t know.

I know God exists because I know God. I have a personal relationship with God. You don’t know God because you refuse to. With a sincere heart ask Him to show you who He is and He will! And remember the next time you take a breath or a drink of water, where that came from and who allows you to do it, Jesus Christ!

Most people don’t want to believe in God because the bible tells them to live a certain lifestyle, to not indulge in sin, that there are absolute morals and values that people don’t want to accept. This is all rebellion against the One who created them all. You don’t have to believe in God, it’s your choice, but then again so is your eternal destination!

God loves you Kevin, He formed you in your mothers womb, He knew you before you were created. He knows all of your thoughts and all of your intentions. All He wants is for you to love Him back! If you want to know the truth then seek the truth, don’t cover it up.

I speak the truth, you can believe it or you can believe lies. “The wisdom of man is foolishness in the eyes of God” (1 Corinthians 3:19), but “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding” (Proverbs 9:10).

God bless! May the good Lord of the universe enlighten you with the truth, may He open your ears and your eyes so that you will know that Jesus Christ is God!

  199. Praise God. I am a believer but felt that I needed to pray this prayer again. Thank you for the guide as well to becoming a better Christian. Gordon, could you please keep my family and I all in your prayers? Could you please pray for my oldest child Ana who is transgender and my nephew who use to be a strong believer and is now an atheist? My sister and I are both praying hard for both of them. I’ve had so much confusion over Ana and how God feels about her being transgender due to seeing how she has been from birth on and knowing how hard she always fought how she was feeling. I was terrified that she would commit suicide. Since she has started living female she is happy. I’ve prayed hard that if this was not Gods will to please change it. She has also been baptized. Please pray for us Gordon. I don’t want anyone that I love left here after Christs return. Thank you so much for this blog. It has helped me so much. Have a blessed day!

  200. Thanks for sharing Christi!

I am sorry to hear about the pain you are going through with your child and nephew. I wish with all of my heart that we could change people’s beliefs of the truth, but we cannot. Even God will not force a person to believe, but He can show them the truth. Keep on seeking the Lord, pray without ceasing, and keep the faith! And although we do not agree with the choices a person makes in this life, we must continue to love them and show them the grace and mercy of God Almighty.

Good Lord in heaven hear my prayers. Sister Christi is suffering in pain with a transgender child and a nephew who is an atheist. I ask that you would show them both the truth, that you would give them visions and dreams of the truth, of what is right and what is wrong. Pour out Your Spirit upon them and fill them with Your love. Change them from the inside out and give them a heart for you. I also ask that You will take away the pain and suffering Christi is going through and replace it with Your peace and comfort, with increased faith and encouragement. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

    God bless sister!
