God will NOT be Mocked!

rainbow flag

Commentary By:  Gordon King

Evil, wickedness, sin, it’s all been around since the fall of Adam and Eve.  But we must not forget, the world became so wicked, so vile and sinful that God destroyed the earth and its inhabitants with a great flood!

Since that time, the world’s population was virtually started over again through the family of Noah.  The only family God found righteous and holy enough to continue on.  The only family believing in God’s words!

And now we find ourselves in a similar situation, where evil and wickedness has permeated the world and it’s inhabitants.  Where most societies laugh at and mock God and His words.  A world in which righteous morals and values have been denigrated to the point of being viewed as evil and wicked themselves!

Have you ever wondered just why gays and homosexuals have taken the symbol of the rainbow as their own?  I bet that most of them don’t even know why!  Satan is clever, and he uses the things of God to show rebellion against God.  The rainbow is a symbol from God, that He would never again destroy the world with a flood.  He destroyed the world because of it’s wickedness, evil, and sin against Him.  The homosexuals now use the symbol of the rainbow as a sign of rebellion, defiance, mocking God Almighty!

There are an estimated two billion Christians living in the world today.  Yet, I would argue that many are not true Christians. Just how many call themselves believers yet do not know Christ?

Matthew 7:21-23

Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

The world in general has become anti-Christ!  The mere mention of Christianity more often than not results in persecution of some sort or another.

God Almighty is patient and kind.  Yet, just as in the days of Noah, there is very soon coming a time when He says enough is enough!  I sense as though we are approaching that time.  Ungodliness is reaching an all time high since the great flood.  Blasphemy and abominations against God have increased dramatically over the past fifty years, and even more so over the past two or three years!

How many world leaders praise and worship God?  I can only think of one nation, and that is the nation of Israel.  Even the government of the United States of America, which was founded upon the values and principles of God, under God Himself, has turned it’s back on God!  And even now, the nation of Canada has elected a very liberal Prime Minister.  Not only is he very liberal, it is rumored that he has converted to Islam!

What nation on earth now stands in support of Israel?  It seems to me that most if not all the nations of the world are against her.

Zechariah 12:2-3

Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.”

The world loathes the things of God, turns away from and blasphemes what is holy and righteous!  Instead of turning to the one and only true God of the universe, they turn to the god of this world, Satan!  For there is only but one God, Jesus Christ, I AM WHO I AM!  Satan is an imitator, an impostor!  He wants to be god, strives to be better than God, yet has already failed!

God will not be mocked!  Those in the world seeking to destroy the things of God shall pay a heavy price.  Their days are numbered and they will fall into eternal destruction!  God’s justice is coming soon, His wrath upon the world is coming like the wind!

And if the wrath of God upon the world is closer than we may think, just how close are we to the rapture of the church?!

The rapture of the church is nigh, even at the door my friends!  As the world comes to a boiling point, the pressure can only last so long until it gives way.  Super heated water in a cup can explode, it has happened to me.  And this is where we now find the world, past a rolling boil, at the point of exploding!

So just how much time do we have left?  No one knows, but I would say not long.  Biblical signs and prophecy are here and coming to pass!  We were given these signs for a reason, and that reason is to know that we are close, even at the door!

If you are of the world, by that I mean not a born-again Christian, a believer in Jesus Christ, then I strongly urge you to accept Jesus Christ now!  If you have persecuted Christians and lived for another god, or are an atheist, then I strongly urge you to repent of your sins and accept Jesus Christ now!  God loves you, and without Him you will live in eternal destruction or hell forever!  But, with Him you shall live in heaven with God forever!  You will have peace, comfort, and much more than you could ever imagine!  God has prepared for those that love Him, indescribable beauty, a new world and a new life!  Heaven is real, and it is much more magnificent than anyone could imagine!

It’s not too late to turn from your evil ways and accept Jesus Christ now.  But this may be your last chance!  None of us know just how much time we have left, or how many opportunities we will get to accept Christ.  You don’t have to clean-up your life first, just repent of your sins, believe, and accept Him!  It’s really that simple!

Accept Jesus Christ Now as Your Personal Lord and Savior!

God bless my friends!  Maranatha!

Thank you, Gordon. Your posts are always timely and biblically spot on. Thank you for quoting Zech 12:2-3. Anyone who reads that verse and can argue that we are not in the last days is either blind or in total denial. Today, I need some help. My current pastor is a very Godly man. He is saved and preaches the Bible. His heart is for the lost, for getting out and doing Kingdom business. Now, let me just say before I go on, that I’m aware believing in a pre, post, mid, or pre-wrath view does not have ANY bearing on whether someone is saved or not. With that being said, we are studying Revelation in Sunday school, and yesterday I found out that my pastor is most likely mid-trib or pre-wrath. (I say “is most likely” because he hasn’t been extremely clear with me exactly what he believes). He said that “imminence” of the rapture by definition just means “soon”, not “at any moment”. He asked me if I would show him proof that the pre-trib doctrine was taught in early church writings, before John Darby. I was able to find some information on the internet by doing a google search but I was wondering if you, or anyone reading this, had any reliable sources for me. Thank you so much in advance for reading and responding. God bless you.

      Thanks for your comment Lyndsey!

I disagree with your pastor. I believe that Christ’s return is imminent! Dictionary.com defines “imminent” as likely to occur at any moment; impending.

James 5:8 “You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.”
Luke 12:40 “You also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”
Revelation 22:20 ‘He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!’

By studying scripture and the words of Jesus Himself, we know that nothing else has to occur before the rapture of the church, nothing! Therefore, His rapture of the church is imminent! Of course, if you don’t believe in a Pre-Tribulation rapture than you would believe otherwise.

I have a page which gives a biblical view of why I believe in a Pre-Trib rapture of the church. All of the information that I give is biblical, not from John Darby, I have never studied him. You cannot get any earlier writings then from scripture itself. A person either chooses to believe it or not. This is my belief, others can choose to ignore it if that is their will.

The Rapture of the Church! Pre-Tribulation View

I hope this helps, God bless to you Lyndsey and your pastor!

It was a very sad day indeed last week when a Liberal was elected Prime Minister in Canada. We have had over 9 years under a Christian leader who stood with Israel. I pray for our country. Really like the invitation to accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour in bold red letters. Cannot miss seeing that!

      Thank you Elaine!

I also pray for your country and for the world! For the protection of the innocent, the saved, and Israel, also for the salvation of the lost! God bless!

Thank you so much for your response! Is it ok if I print out your page and give it to him? I am 100% pre-tribulation as well, and was sad to hear my pastor believes otherwise. I believe that if one studies the word of God and rightly divides their Bible that it is the ONLY conclusion one can come to. I’m also giving him a study on Rapture Ready called “imminency the heart of the pre-tribulation rapture.” Jesus is my blessed hope. No one will take that from me.

      You are welcome Anonymous.

I don’t mind if you give it to him, although it is not my desire to engage in arguments over the rapture of the church. As you said before, it does not affect our salvation.

      God bless!

America has cross the line in her apostasy, in her defiance towards God. We’re racing towards judgment and we’re reaping what we have sown. People need to wake up and seek the Lord. As you have pointed out many times Gordon. He is not mocked. He has the last word. He is in control.
Scriptures’ tells us if your faith is as little as a mustard seed you can still move mountains (Mat.17:20).
One needs to do the possible and God does the impossible. Faith without doubt. Trust without having reservations. Personal responsibilities and action is needed, inner strength will be given to overcome anything that comes our way. God can not help us until we (individually) let Him in.
God is above us. God is Sovereign! There is a reason for everything under the sun; the good and the bad. Everything WILL be iron out in the end, we’re heading towards that end. The intense chaos we’re experiencing on a daily basis and continuing for a short time longer will not be forever, Thank God. Let’s focus on heavenly things, while doing everything we can to be on the right side of God. God is good and forgiving when we recognize Him, come to Him in sincerity, confessing our all and relying on His grace. He is merciful and hears our prayers. He loves us and in due season He provides. We must do our part, change our ways, trying constantly not to offend Him above anyone else. Making Him first in our life regardless of what the world thinks. We cannot afford to side with the world, eternity is at stake. We need to be vigilant in His word and accountable to our actions. It ends well for those who have faith in Jesus.

The times are getting worst as time moves forward, we need to have a solid foundation in Jesus for events are moving quickly as predicted and intensifying as this fallen angel has his time of causing death and destruction on planet earth. We’re moving toward the end of the age, the false messiah/savior will be declaring himself soon and we need to be ready. Everything is in place to usher in his system of control. We can not be caught off guard for everything is taking shape for his ruling every aspect of life everywhere. The Gentile’s time is winding down, we have lost our way. God does not stay where He’s not invited or welcomed. His focus is returning and centered on Israel (both spiritual and physical). Christians are the spiritual, the grafted branch and Israel is His beloved people. He will always be with those who confess His Name, believe in His testimony and do His will (He helps us through it all). Keep praying without ceasing for the hour is nigh. And in the mist of the chaos Jesus IS COMING.

Don’t give up but tell God your all, be honest with your feelings, be raw, let it all out so the Lord can free you and instill a new spirit of love, calmness, peace in you, in spite of the world around you. If your angry confess your anger, frustration, your ills, get it out of your system in your talk with Him in the privacy of your home, car, corner. One on one with Him. Pray for understanding and wisdom to know Him. The tears that you shed is the cleansing of your spirit uniting with His. A personal time with the Lord who loves you so much. Then follow through on your personal journey with Him. Always connecting to the source of life! He will make your path lighter.
Calling on Jesus you will be saved. Inviting Him into your heart will open the truth of His word. We have an amazing Advocate in Jesus Christ. He is not mocked, every knee will bow to Him sooner or later. Let’s be His soldiers. For when everything is said and done there is only two camps, one with God and the other without Him. And He states very clearly what each camp entails. The wages of sin is death but the cleansing power of Jesus is powerful and life! Don’t be caught on the outside looking in. But always looking up. God bless us all. Maranatha!

Thanks again Gordon, May our Lord continue to enlighten you.

Thank you for your comments and thoughts SweetJava! Very inspiring, true, and to the point!

The times that we are now living in are full of deception, chaos, and confusion, this is not the time to stray away from the Lord! On the contrary my friends, be still and listen to what the Lord is saying. Hold fast to what is righteous, pure, and holy, for the time is soon coming when Christianity will be persecuted throughout the world. These are treacherous times, each and every day brings us one step closer to our Lord and Savior, to our day of redemption.

      God bless SweetJava!
