The time is near for millions of people around the world to participate in Halloween festivities. Dressing up in costumes of all sorts. Celebrating death, demons, evil, perversion, lust and sin. As for me, I’ll take no part in it. This is not a Christian holiday, but a Satanic holiday, a day of Pagan worship. Many shall disagree with me, saying that there is nothing wrong with having a little fun. I say that it is blasphemy against the God of the universe and all that He represents!
This is one of the main problems with the world, they just want to have fun, regardless of what it means to God. They want to have it and have it their way. This is rebellion to the Lord and His ways. This is idol worship, and even worse it is worshiping false gods, demonic gods.
I know of many Christians who also participate in this Holiday and believe that there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. In fact I used to be one of them! Thinking that I was not doing it in an evil way or to worship another god. However, by participating in Halloween you are idol worshiping, you are worshiping another god. This is a direct violation of the commandments which the Lord has given to us.
Exodus 20:3-4
3 “You shall have no other gods before Me.
4 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; 5 you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God,”.
It’s against what is good, holy and righteous. It teaches our children that it is ok to worship idols and false gods. That it is ok to celebrate evil and sin. Just take a look at some of the costumes that are now available for children!
These photos were posted in an article written by the New York Daily News. The article states that the female police officer costume is available in toddler sizes! What!!! These little girls are being made up to look like sexy and lusty adult women. This is our society, this is where we are headed, in fact this is where we are now! The world of sin, pleasure, and evil. Teaching our own children to behave, act, and live in this fashion. Where are the morals, and what are the values?
The celebration of Halloween is the celebration of Satan and his demons. It’s tradition in our society, which makes it even more difficult for many to say no. Tradition is ingrained into our psyche, etched upon our minds since we were a very young age. Our friends, our neighbors, and our community take part so why shouldn’t we? It’s time to break that cycle, to change that way of thinking. Just because everyone else is doing it does not make it right!
The time is close at hand for the Lord to separate the wheat from the tares.
Matthew 13:30
“30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.”
The time that we are living in is a time of testing. It’s a time of decision. A time to take a stand. This is the hour of our faith. There shall be many who claim to know God, but have not the Spirit of God within them. Many shall fall away from the faith, while many others will proclaim the name of Jesus through their religious practice, yet have never known the Father in heaven. It’s not about what we do, how often we attend church, how many times a day we pray, or how big of an offering we give. It’s about our relationship with God. It’s about our holy communion with Jesus Christ. That’s what it’s all about my friends. It’s about God’s grace upon our lives, grace which is undeserved yet bestowed upon us by the creator of the universe!
God loves us all so very much, much more than we could ever know. That’s why He came to earth in physical form as Jesus Christ, to prepare a way for us to come back to Him as righteous, holy, and unblemished. To once again live with Him, to worship Him, and to commune with Him forever and ever. It’s the way, the only way to heaven. There is no other except by the blood of Jesus. For His is salvation to give, by no other name on earth or in heaven.
These are days of tragedy, sin, evil, wickedness. The times that we are now living in will get much worse. The world is getting very close to seeing the wrath of Almighty God poured out upon them. This is and should be a very fearful thing for the unsaved. But for the Christian it is a sign of hope, of the nearness of Christ’s return for us. We have nothing to fear as long as we fear God. We must reverence Him, cherish Him, worship Him, humble ourselves before Him, give Him the glory, the honor, and the praise in which He deserves! Amen
Take a stand now! Don’t wait until it’s too late. Don’t be caught sitting on the fence, waiting to make a decision. Don’t be wishy-washy and half-hearted. You either stand for the Lord or you don’t! If you are a Christian then it is time to get serious for the Lord. Not just going to church once a week, and reading the bible once in a while. You must commune with the Lord daily, pray daily, worship Him daily. Speak to the Lord daily, give Him thanks daily, put Him first in all that you do! This is the time!
If you are not saved and you want to speak to God daily, then you must first be saved. You must be a Christian in order for Him to hear you. He will only hear you if you open the door, repent of your sins and accept Him as your Lord and savior. He will not hear your prayers if you are not saved!
John 9:31
“31 Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him.”
Listen to what the Lord is saying, hear His words, for He speaks through His written word the bible, through the prophets, and through His children the Christians. Listen to what they are saying, hear their words and heed them. For the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
Proverbs 9-10
10 “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.“
Therefore, listen to their words for they are from God Himself. He is calling you to salvation, it’s your decision to accept it or not!
