Commentary By: Gordon King
Why is it that some unbelievers come to this website and make comments which are not biblical, unfounded, and at times even derogatory, insulting, and very judgmental? Why do they come to a Christian website and make claims and judgments against me and what I write regarding God and His word? I didn’t write the bible, I am only a messenger of the bible, of God and His word, of the gospel message of Jesus Christ.
There must be a reason for them coming here in the first place, a leading which even they themselves do not understand. What I am about to say may not be the most pleasant of subjects but it is the truth, and sometimes the truth hurts! To some of you I may be coming off a little harsh, but I am trying to make a point.
I have written hundreds of posts since the inception of this blog, posts regarding the world, those living in the world, and what God has to say about it. I write about God’s thoughts and attitudes, His laws, principles, and actions regarding what is right and what is wrong, about what will happen to us after we die, about where we go after we die, about what eternity will be like for unbelievers and believers. It’s all the truth taken from God’s word, some of which many people do not want to hear, most of which they cannot truly understand.
I truly believe that it is God who brings some of them here for one reason or another, but it is always according to His will. It could be to plant seeds within them, but it could also be to strengthen my faith and my resolve to continue on in my faith. And than there are those who come here out of no good will, rather they come in an attempt to destroy what God has ordained as holy and righteous. I did not invite them to come nor I did not force anyone to come.
Whatever the case may be, they will hear God’s word and they will be told the truth. Whether they want to hear it or not it will be the case. I cannot deviate from the word of God in order to satisfy the ears of what people may want to hear, nor will I purposely pick and choose to tickle the fancy of those not wanting to hear all of the truth!
I was saved a long time ago in the course of how long we live here on earth. So, it is difficult for me to really understand just what goes on in the mind of an unbeliever when they hear the truth of God’s word. I do know that it often leads to fear, anger, and even hostility. The word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword, it cuts through joints and marrow, even to the division of soul and spirit!
Hebrews 4:12
“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
The word of God is a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart, perhaps this is why so many unbelievers feel extremely uncomfortable when they hear it! They feel exposed and maybe even guilty for sins that they have committed.
Many people, even believers say that we should not preach about Hell, that it only instills fear and that is not what God is or should be about. I say that we need to tell the whole truth, not just bits and pieces, not only “feel good” theology! It’s not about feeling good, it’s about eternal salvation or eternal punishment! It’s not a game, it’s eternity. You may not want to hear that Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven, or that if you do not accept Him than you are destined for Hell, but it is the truth!
So, whether or not you or anyone else wants to hear about Hell, I will preach it! Everyone must know just where they stand, they must know where they are headed without Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior!
Heaven is for real, but guess what folks, so is Hell! We who are saved don’t have anything to worry about going to Heaven, but for those unsaved they have a lot to worry about headed for Hell!
We all at once were sinners, lost and living in the dark, all following the evil one, Satan. We were being led and deceived into believing untruths and twisted versions of the truth.
There are many unbelievers telling others that there are many ways to Heaven, that not one way is right but all ways are right! I have even heard people say that everyone will get to heaven no matter what they believe! These are lies straight from the pit of Hell!
I’m not here to try and make anyone believe one thing or another, but I am here to tell the truth. And whether or not anyone wants to believe it is up to them. God is the one Who changes hearts and minds, it is He who leads to salvation, all I am doing is spreading His word, a messenger of Christ.
So, if you come to a Christian blog and expect to hear a message other than the truth of God’s word, then guess what, you are in for a big awakening! And if you expect me to bow down and roll over just because you may not agree with me, then guess what, you are gravely mistaken! I will not deviate from my faith because someone does not like what I say.
I am not here to please the ears of man or woman, but to share the truth, the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ! I am here to do the will of God and to please God. This is my will, this is the will of my Father in Heaven.
The truth is that God loves you, He loves you so much that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ as a sacrifice for your sins, so that you would not have to go to Hell! He already went for you! All you have to do is repent of your sins and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is God, accept Him as your Lord and Savior, that’s it! Nothing more, nothing less.
Time is short! Accept Jesus Christ now as your Lord and Savior!
God bless my friends! Maranatha!
Isaiah 55:11King James Version (KJV)
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
God bless you brother!

I am finding out that even Christians do not want to know the truth, even when it states it in the Word of God. I know that this is the signs of the times, we need to stay strong, so brother stay strong in the Lord which I know you are.
May the Lord continue to bless you and you ministry

It is very sad that even many Christians do not want to hear or know the truth! We are on a journey in this life, and as believers we must seek the truth. Unfortunately we are not instantly filled with all truth and knowledge once we are saved, we must study God’s word to find it. At times we my be wrong about what we once believed to be the truth, this is why it is so important to study, meditate upon, and pray about His word, so that we may rightly divide the word of God. This however is much different than merely not wanting to know the truth, to turn away from the truth because we don’t like what it says or because it doesn’t fit the lifestyle we wish to live.
Thank you for your blessings!
God bless! Maranatha!
