Are you suffering in pain and sorrow? Are you depressed, anxious and lonely? I have the answer!

depression anxiety lonliness fear

Commentary By:  Gordon King

This is the answer to the world, for those suffering and in pain.  For those without the answer to their problems in life.

The world is a difficult place to live in, there is no doubt about it.  Many of us struggle with worries of finance, family, friends, and co-workers.  We deal with death, injuries and illness.  At times we may find ourselves deeply involved in things which only bring us down, further into the depths of pain and suffering.

All of these things and more, can cause us to fall into depression, anxiety, and confusion.  It can lead us onto a path of destruction.  We can feel trapped, lonely, and helpless.  The future can seem hopeless.

Do not despair, do not give up.  There is an answer to the woes in your life.  You may not want to hear it, you may turn away in disbelief.  But what I am about to share with you is the truth.  It’s your choice to either believe it or not.

For the true, bible believing, God-fearing Christian, we already have the answer.  We know what it means to hurt and to suffer.  We know the struggles of the world, the pain and sadness that it brings.  But for us, it’s all been taken care of.  I’m not saying that we never have problems in life, we do of course.  However, we also have something or someone rather to see us through.  We have Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.  He is with us in both good times and in bad.  He leads us and guides us, He gives us hope, faith, and reassurance.  He is our strength, our courage, and our peace.  He provides for our needs, and blesses us in many ways.

Jesus tells us that He will give us rest.

Matthew 11:28-30

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.  29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Jesus will give you peace and comfort that nobody else can.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

Sometimes God will take away our troubles, at other times He will lessen the burden.  But, if we accept Him as our Lord, then He will always be with us.  He will ease our pain, our sorrow, and give us peace and comfort.  He can heal us of depression and anxiety, He did it for me and He can do it for you!

The thing that you must understand the most, is that He will give us eternal life!  You see, we have a choice to make in this life, a very important choice.  We either choose to accept Jesus and have eternal life, or we choose Satan and have eternal death.  Eternal life is a life in love, joy, peace, comfort and safety, forever.  No more sorrow, no more pain and suffering, no more tears.  Eternal death is living in hell, no joy, no peace, no comfort, no safety, forever.  It means being tormented forever without God.  This is the most important choice that you will ever make in your life while here on earth.

If you do not choose God, Jesus Christ, as your Lord, then you will be automatically choosing Satan as your god.  You are living in the world and of the world.  This world now belongs to Satan, but not for long.

God loves us all so much that He gave His Son, Jesus Christ, as a sacrifice for us.  A sacrifice to pay for all of the sins in our life.  All of the sin we ever did in the past and will do in the future.  That is why Jesus died on the cross, it was for us.  This is true love, the giving of ones life for the life of another.  How much more for God to sacrifice Himself for us?

John 3:16

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

No matter what you have done in the past or are doing now, God loves you so much!  He will forgive you of all sin, ALL!  Whether it’s murder, theft, lies, hatred, drunkenness, abortion, adultery, pornography, child molestation, sexual perversions, worshiping false idols, it’s all sin, and all will be forgiven.  He will wipe away all of your sin and give you new life.

The answers to your problems in life is not found in the world.  You can turn to alcohol, drugs, and sex.  These are sinful in nature and will only breed further sin, thereby entrenching you deeper into a dark abyss.  You can turn to psychiatrists and medicines.  You may find temporary relief in these things.  You may be satisfied for a short while.  But the one and only true cure is by accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.  That is the only way my friends, the only way!

God loves us and has a plan for our lives.  He has also given us all a free will to make our own choices.  It’s up to us to make the right decision.  He will not force us.  He has given to us His Son, Jesus Christ as a gift of His grace.  Grace is something that is given to us although we are undeserving of it.  None of us deserves it, but He loves us so much that He is giving it to us if we believe and ask.

If you want to free yourself from the grip of the world.  If you need help for depression, fear, and anxiety.  Then I strongly urge you to accept Jesus Christ now as you personal Lord and Savior.  He can wipe away your tears and give you eternal life.  He can fill you with a peace and comfort that only He can.  What have you got to lose?  On the other hand, what have you got to gain?  Think about it.

Choose to live with God, choose to have God living within you.  He is the only way.

God bless my friends!

May God Almighty give you vision, insight, clarity, and wisdom to make the right decision.  Amen

Accept Jesus Now!

  2. Thanks for your share Kristi. Please don’t take what I said the wrong way sister. There is a proper place for medications, I agree. My message to the unbelievers is that without God in our lives there is no hope or eternal salvation.
    God bless!

  3. Feeling an anxiety beyond anything I have ever felt. The night before y boys passed I had anxiety to the point of hysteria. I KNEW something awful was coming, 12 hours later my boys were killed. What I feel today is bigger than that more urgent and I am wondering if anyone else is feeling intense anxiety.

  4. Hello Carole. I hope and pray that you are well my friend.

First of all I would just like to clarify for the record what I wrote in the post. I am not saying that Christians never have fear or anxiety. That Christians do not endure hardship, trials, tribulations, pain, or suffering. Christians do experience these things, and sometimes more then when they were unsaved. My point is that we have God with us, to help us, to see us through to the end. That with Him we can endure, with strength and courage.

With that being said, it is funny in an odd and unusual way that you would say that Carole! Last night I was asking God why all of the trials and tribulations in my life? Why all of the pain and suffering? Why am I feeling, as you said, anxious?

The closer that I have become with the Lord, it seems as though this has become more intense for me personally. And I don’t want to say this to frighten off the unbelievers reading this post. Actually, without God at the center of my life, I would not have been able to endure all of the hardship that I have been through over the past few years. So I give this to the glory and power of the Lord.

And once again, with that being said, I believe something has to give. I also feel the intensity Carole. I don’t like to say it, but last night I was feeling anxious. God cured me of my intense anxiety almost 3 years ago and I haven’t felt it since. But last night I did. I prayed about it, but I don’t know what it means?! I am so glad you wrote this comment Carole. It does make me feel somewhat better, knowing that I am not alone in this. That maybe it all has another meaning, rather then just being caused by trials and tribulations.

Last night I remember part of a dream that I had. It was very strange and unusual. I think that I shall post it this morning.

God bless Carole. May the good Lord give you His loving peace and comfort. Amen

  5. How right you are Gordon, the evil one desires your soul – he will use anything, and/or anyone to get to you. Our trials have just begun… The Good Lord warns us the closer you get to Him the more intense the battle that wages inside us and around us. And the reason we shouldn’t give up but give all to God, He is our strength, He is our Comforter, He is the power we need to combat the arrows that are flying from every direction. We need to hang-in there, as hard as this is at times, lift up our heads in prayer, sing a gospel song, recite a psalm and that calming peace will assure us all will be well. Jesus won the war, we’re asked to ‘commit our ways to the Lord’, ‘He will bring it to pass’ (I encourage you to read Psalm 37 it encompasses all that I’m saying).
In it’s proper time all will be resolve. God promised and He never, ever goes back on His promises. Thank you Father in Heaven for your consistency, thank you for your love, for even though we may stumble and in spite of the hard road we must travel, You are always there.
Like you have mentioned many times Gordon, He gives us the power to stand against the odds. We need to trust, have faith and believe and then follow through with action of love. Even if it’s just a smile, you’ll lift both someone’s spirit and your own.
May the Father of all creation gives us all, His strength and protection, May He give us His desire to do His will, in spite of the evil that surrounds us. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
We must be on the right track that the dragon, snake, evil one is forever chasing us.. Don’t give in under any circumstances! God will see us through it. Life eternal is waiting for us. God bless us all. Jesus IS coming soon.

  6. Thanks SweetJava, very good advice and much needed in these days. I do feel the evil and sin around me much more then I ever have before. I know that I am on the right track, or should I say “path”? When I feel such pain and sorrow, sense such evil and wickedness, endure mocking and persecution, then I know that I am on the right path.
May all reading these comments follow your advice. God bless!

  7. It’s the Good Lord that blesses us with discernment and wisdom to see the times we’re in and feel His closeness.
We must continue to forge through no matter what happens in our lives, constantly praying and keeping our eyes and prayers on Israel. The prophecies that were predicted 2000+ years ago is happening and will happen in our lifetime; to many of us are having feelings of foreboding, which only indicate the storm is about to hit. Let’s continue to be in God’s grace, trusting Him… He is in control and waking us up, some are taking a little longer, so He must shake the land with judgments for them to realize He means business and is Supreme in all manners.
God bless my friend and brother in Christ. Thank you for your kind words. Keep mustering forward, always looking up. Maranatha! Jesus is at the door…

  8. 9. God Almighty hear my prayers, give Jason the strength and courage to overcome the sin in His life, lead Him down the straight and narrow path which leads to salvation. Bind all of the evil spirits leading and guiding him in the wrong direction, cast these spirits into the pit of fire, and place a ring of protection over Jason. Fill him with your peace, comfort, and wisdom. Speak to Jason and let him know that You are with Him, that he is forgiven, and that You love Him always! In Jesus name I pray, Amen!

God bless Jason! God is with you my friend!
