Swarm of Large Earthquakes in the past 24 hours

Over the course of the past 24 hours there has been a swarm of large earthquakes around the world.

  • Panama magnitude 6.3
  • Philippines magnitude 6.2
  • Chile magnitude 5.9
  • Brazil magnitude 5.1
  • India magnitude 5.0
  • Tunisia magnitude 5.0
  • Tonga magnitude 4.9
  • New Caledonia magnitude 4.9
  • Papua New Guinea magnitude 4.8
  • Kermadec Islands region magnitude 4.8
  • Northern Peru magnitude 4.8
  • Japan magnitude 4.6
  • China magnitude 4.6
  • Tajikistan magnitude 4.6
  • Vanuatu magnitude 4.5
  • Tres Pinos California magnitude 4.4

These are not all of the recorded earthquakes over the past 24 hours, only the largest, there are many more with a magnitude of 4.0 or less.  

The bible tells us that in the last days there will be earthquakes in various places, that they will increase in both frequency and intensity.  These are signs for us to be watching for signifying the closeness of Christ’s return.
