North Korea: US bomber flight pushes two countries on brink of nuclear war

(SOURCE)   North Korea on Tuesday said the United States’ decision to fly two supersonic B-1B Lancer bombers in the area in a training drill is a provocation and puts the two countries on the brink of a nuclear war.

“The reckless military provocation is pushing the situation on the Korean peninsula closer to the brink of nuclear war,” the North’s official KCNA news agency said on Tuesday, according to Reuters.

North Korea conducted another missile test on Saturday, its third launch in April alone, which reportedly failed soon after launch, and its Foreign Ministry said Monday the country will speed up measures to bolster its nuclear program “at the maximum pace.”

A statement circulated by North Korea’s U.N. Mission says the government is ready to respond to any option taken by the United States.

President Trump said after North Korea’s latest failed rocket launch that communist leader Kim Jong-Un will eventually develop better missiles, and “we can’t allow it to happen.”

In a taped interview broadcast Sunday on CBS’ “Face the Nation,” the president would not discuss the possibility of military action, saying: “It is a chess game. I just don’t want people to know what my thinking is.”

Trump also said that he would be willing to meet with Kim. The New York Times reported that no sitting president has met with a North Korean leader since his grandfather, Kim Il-sung.

“Kim Jong-un would be delighted to meet with President Trump on the basis of one nuclear leader to another,” Christopher R. Hill, a diplomat under President George W. Bush, told the paper. “If I were Trump I would pass on that.”

Separately, Trump’s national security adviser, Army Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster, said North Korea’s most recent missile test represents “open defiance of the international community.” He said North Korea poses “a grave threat,” not just to the U.S. and its Asian allies, but also to China.

I am watching these developments closely. However, those in my circle of acquaintances and family members are oblivious as most don’t watch news or read newspapers– too depressing they say, lets live laugh and love for today!
As in the days of Noah eh Gordon?

    God Bless

      Thanks for your comment Christine!

How many more people just like them are oblivious to what is going on in the world today? Far too many I presume, just as in the days of Noah!

      God bless! Maranatha!

In order to have a “REAL nuclear war” north Korea needs to have something “nuclear” that will be able to launch without blowing up off the launching pad. (hasn’t happened so far) Otherwise it will be a one sided “war” and the little fat dictator and his “palace” will be the first item to get whacked. There are MORE THAN LIKELY our submarines are off the coast of north Korea loaded with Trident nuclear-tipped missiles ready to go. I guess he thinks that there are just Aircraft carriers floating out there.

Hasn’t happened so far, but that doesn’t mean that they don’t have them, or that they won’t soon. North Korea is also in bed with Iran, another rogue nation claiming to annihilate and destroy, isn’t that odd?!

There are submarines off the coast of Korea, but aircraft carriers also carry nuclear weapons.

      God bless! Maranatha!
