Wild animal attacks, another sign of the times!

cougar

Commentary By:  Gordon King

As we move closer each day to the Tribulation period we are witnessing an increase in end time signs.  One sign that most people are unaware of is attacks on human beings by wild beasts.

Revelation 6:78

“When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come and see.” So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth.”

I know that this passage is speaking directly of the Tribulation period, however, I believe that as we get closer to this time frame we shall seen an increase in all of these signs as a warning.  These signs will intensify as we near the Tribulation period.  During the Tribulation period these will not just be signs, but will be worldwide events on a grand scale!  Much worse than what we see happening today.

Wild animals have been attacking humans much more frequently over the past few years, and it is increasing as time goes on.  We read articles of people being attacked by cougars, coyotes, polar bears, alligators, sharks, and more.  These are all signs of what is to come, signs of the nearness of Christ’s return to earth!

Folks, I am not writing this to frighten you, unless of course you are not a saved, born-again, bible believing Christian.  I am writing this to inform you of the increased signs of the times that we are now living in, that Christ’s return to earth is imminent.  If you are a Christian, then you should be excited, if you are an unbeliever then you should be frightened!

God bless my friends!

  2. My guess is, one of the reasons the beasts will attack, will be that the demons will possess them for a means to kill. But aside from that, food will be scarce. Right now they probably have that intuitive sense of impending danger that animals have, and it’s probably red-lining and has them all somewhat frenzied.

  3. For whatever reason it may be, it is happening. Just as are blood red waters, unusual sounds, increased meteor strikes and solar flares, increased earthquakes, wars, and rumors of wars. God bless

  4. Hello Brother King,
Read your short article (blog) with interest and I too believe something is amiss with the animal kingdom especially their behavior in accordance with the warning of Revelations 6:8 concerning the beasts of the earth. I have noticed some animals behaving very strangely even in the face of death and in situations where they should be afraid especially when severely injured. Case in point was when I hit a dear recently one morning coming home from night shift. A dear looked straight at the lights (it was still very dark that morning) of my car from about 50 feet down the road and as I approached at about (55 mph) it casually walked out in front of my car. But that was not the strange part. I have a dash cam that runs continuously when the ignition is turned on and it recorded everything that happened. The dear showed no fear of my car before it stepped out in front of it, after being hit it showed no signs of pain, injury or fear in its facial expressions. It did not cry out or make any noise after being hit. From watching its facial expression and eyes (the dash cam is HD) the dear looked as though that it was trying to focus in on its surroundings and tryed to stand and run (on what I assume to be its now broken legs). Again this dear strangely showed no signs of panic, pain, fear, or emotions! It managed to hobble and roll into the oncoming lane of traffic and was hit a second time and run over by a pickup truck which killed the dear. Also an occasional Coyote (may not be the same one all the time) and a wild cat routinely move about during the day and night in the open near the house and outer fringes of the woods nearby, I never saw anything like this when I was growing up in the country and I am now 56 years old.

  5. Thank you for your comment Harold.

It’s interesting as you said, that these animals are becoming less fearful of humans. They are also acting strange, with unnatural behaviors. I have noticed similar animal behaviors in my neck of the woods.

I had a similar situation happen to me about a month ago. I was driving home on the freeway, it was heavy traffic for some reason, it’s usually not as I don’t live in a big city. Anyway, the traffic was flowing about 60 miles per hour when all of the sudden a very large owl came swooping down and landed right in front of my car! I would have tried to avoid hitting him but there was no where to turn. After I hit him he went flying back behind my vehicle, I suppose that he was finished off by more cars. And as you have said, I have deer walking right out in front of my car a couple of times in the past few months. They can see all of the cars, yet they just mosey on out, as if they are oblivious to them!

It’s sort of funny that you mentioned you are 56 years old, I just turned 57.

    God bless brother! Maranatha!

  6. Deer are naturally blinded by bright lights. In addition, when they are injured they instinctively cover up fear and panic so as to not appear vulnerable and provoke further attacks by a predator. This is normal animal behavior, especially wild animals. Aside from this, there does seem to be an unusual upsurge in animal attacks in the world lately. I also am thinking of Revelation 6:8, Deuteronomy 32:24, and Leviticus 26:22 with respect to these events happening more. Some say it is food shortage that is causing some of it, or humans encroaching on the animal’s domain. Perhaps so, but the alligator attack in Orlando, Florida recently did not result in the small child being eaten, just dragged under water and drowned by the gator. Something is definitely going on here, besides shortage of food and encroachment on animal territory by humans.

  7. Hundreds of human beings are killed in KERALA.INDIA by stray dogs and nobody kills rabbies dogs since law prohibits killing of animals,A clear sign of what will happen in comming days,

  8. Well, besides this and other prophecies (increased travel, wars, increase in blatant apostasy, etc) we’re near the end times. I’m wondering if the church will go through the 7 years, halfway, or is raptured before it. Well Jesus is coming soon, that’s the good news.

  9. Thanks for your comment Joe Johnson!

I believe that we are living in the end times now! I also believe that the church will not go through the Tribulation period, that we will be raptured before it begins. We are not appointed to God’s wrath (1 Thessalonians 5:9) but saved from it, the One Who Restrains I believe is the Holy Spirit within us, and He is removed from the world before the Antichrist is revealed (2 Thessalonians 2), thus the beginning of the Seven Year Tribulation period. Just as God removed the righteous from Sodom before His wrath upon that city (Genesis 19), He shall do the same from the earth before the Tribulation period.

We must be ready at all times, for the Lord will come at an hour no one knows!

    God bless! Maranatha!

  10. There is not rapture, however, God has appointed a place of safety for everyone who is willing to serve Him.

  11. Thanks for your comment Anonymous!

Of course there is a rapture! Enoch was raptured (Genesis 5:24), Elijah was raptured (2 Kings 2:11), and the church will be raptured as we are told in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18, 1 Corinthians 15:51-53, and even the book of Revelation chapter 4 verse 1.

    God bless! Maranatha!
