Something that looked like a fire ball falling from the sky was seen over Portland.

A flash of light photographed over Portland, Ore., on Wednesday, sparked chatter of meteors and asteroids.

A fiery blast spotted over Portland sparked chatter of UFOs and meteors. One news station said it was merely a plane’s contrail.
