Suspected overdose: A father allegedly injected himself and his four-year-old son with heroin in Redmond, Washington
A Washington man injected his 4-year-old son with heroin on the day his divorce from his wife was finalized, in an attempt to kill the boy with an overdose, police have revealed.
Eric Emil Lehtinen, 37, is accused of repeatedly jabbing in young son with needles and injecting him with heroin and a cocktail of other drugs, among them ketamine, morphine and codeine.
He then injected himself with high doses of drugs, as well. When the boy’s mother when to Lehtinen’s Redmond, Washington, home to pick her son up, she found both Lehtinen and the child unconscious.
A needle was still sticking out of the boy’s chest, according to police.

Portway, pleaded guilty in May to distribution and possession of child pornography and solicitation to commit a crime of violence, according to court documents. He is scheduled to be sentenced on September 17.
(CNN) — A Boston-area man, who was planning to kidnap children, lock them in a basement dungeon, rape and eat them, should be imprisoned for at least 27 years, federal authorities said in court documents filed this week.
Geoffrey Portway pleaded guilty in May to distribution and possession of child pornography and solicitation to commit a crime of violence, according to court documents. He is scheduled to be sentenced on September 17.
“Portway has pled guilty to some of the most vile and heinous crimes known to our society,” federal prosecutors wrote in a sentencing recommendation.
But a lawyer for the 40-year-old defendant told CNN his client “lived in a fantasy world” and there was no evidence he harmed any child.
Portway went by the moniker “Fat Longpig” during his online chats, according to court documents. It was these chats that put Portway on the radar screen of police.
When his home in Worcester was searched last year, authorities found tens of thousands of computer images and videos of child pornography and 4,500 exchanges of child pornography between Portway and the people he chatted with online. The images included children being cooked and prepared to be eaten, court documents said. Those photographs are sealed.

The American Dream
September 10, 2013
Should the United States be allied with radical Islamic jihadists that dismember little girls while they are still alive?
That question sounds ridiculously absurd, but that is precisely what Barack Obama is proposing. Obama wants the United States to go to war so that it will be easier for al-Qaeda Christian killers to take over Syria. What you are about to read should absolutely shock you. Please send it out to your friends and share it everywhere that you can. If America willingly sides with psychotic, murderous savages that behead little children, it will bring a curse upon our nation. It is imperative that the American people be told the truth about this.
Mother Agnes Mariam el-Salib is a Catholic nun and mother superior of St. James Monastery in Qara, Syria. She has been living in the country for about twenty years, and she has been very active in reporting what has actually been happening on the ground inside Syria.
Posted below is an excerpt from what she told RT the other day. According to her, the Syrian rebels have been brutally beheading people wherever they go and they even dismembered one little girl with a frame saw while she was still alive…
In the village of Estreba they massacred all the residents and burnt down their houses. In the village of al-Khratta almost all the 37 locals were killed. Only ten people were able to escape.
A total of twelve Alawite villages were subjected to this horrendous attack. That was a true slaughterhouse. People were mutilated and beheaded. There is even a video that shows a girl being dismembered alive – alive! – by a frame saw. The final death toll exceeded 400, with 150 to 200 people taken hostage. Later some of the hostages were killed, their deaths filmed.
Terrified Christians claim Syrian rebels ordered them to convert to Islam on pain of death when they ‘liberated’ their ancient village.
Opposition forces, including fighters linked to Al Qaeda, gained temporary control of the Christian village of Maaloula after fighting with regime forces.
The reports have reignited fears about western support for the rebel groups, which are increasingly being infiltrated by Islamic extremists.

GENEVA (AFP) – Aid workers who carried out an emergency mission to the north of strife-torn Central African Republic found villages abandoned and burned, and evidence of widespread rights abuses, the UN refugee agency said Friday.
“The UNHCR team confirmed widespread lawlessness in the region. Local people spoke of physical assaults, extortion, looting, arbitrary arrest and torture by armed men,” said Melissa Fleming, spokeswoman for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.
The team travelled to a region some 500 kilometres (310 miles) north of the capital Bangui last week.
“We are, in general, increasingly worried about the civilians caught in the middle of the fighting and who are at the mercy of anyone with a gun,” she said, adding it remained unclear who was fighting.

RIPLEY, W.Va. (AP) — The wife of a West Virginia man accused of torturing and abusing her for years denied the allegations Friday, testifying that all of her burns and bruises were accidents.
Stephanie Lizon denied that her husband, Peter Lizon, bound her with chains, and when she was shown photos of her injuries, she gave short explanations and said her husband did not intentionally hurt her.
“It was an accident. My husband and I were arguing. We collided with each other,” she testified when shown pictures of back wounds allegedly from a frying pan.
Prosecutor Katie Casto said the bruises were obvious.
“It is plain to a reasonable person that this was intentional,” Casto said. “It’s not an accident.”
