Peaceful Islam, What’s Your Opinion?

Commentary By:  Gordon King

Hello folks, I hope and pray that all are well.

I recently received a rather long comment on a post that I made late yesterday evening: “Islam Growing in Strength and Numbers”.

This gentleman is from an Islamic school in London, England.  He has written me many long emails of this nature.  I have posted his comment here along with my response to him.  The reason that I am posting this is to get your viewpoint on the matter.  He seems to think that I am misguided and misinformed about Islam.

He feels that there are 1.6 billion Muslims in the world and that the religion is peaceful and loving;  that it is only the minority killing, torturing, hating, imprisoning, etc.

I would appreciate comments, however, please keep them civil (I’m sure you will).  🙂

Islam Growing in Strength and Numbers

Commentary by:  Gordon King

Islam is on the rise.  Muslims continue their murderous rampage around the globe without anyone to stop them.  Or should I say without anyone “willing” to stop them.

I wonder if Christians around the world were committing the same violent acts against Muslims, if the world would stay quiet?

Islam is growing in strength and numbers day by day, bit by bit.  That is how it is done.  A little at a time.  Just like how here in America, the government is taking away our freedoms, bit by bit, one day at a time.  They both do things in a similar manner.  Nothing is accomplished in huge chunks, but in small bits and pieces.  Like when you are saving to purchase a large item or save for your retirement.  You don’t save it all at once, you put away small amounts, day by day, one bit at a time until you have achieved your goal.

Isn’t that how Adolf Hitler started out, bit by bit, piece by piece?

‘Eyes gouged out, bodies hanging from hooks’

Commentary By:  Gordon King

The following article contains very graphic and violent content (no graphic photos) of the Kenyan Mall massacre.  The reason I am posting this article is to expose the evil in the world.  The truth about Islam.  We must not be ignorant regarding the times or what is actually happening in the world.  We must not be ignorant of this evil religion.  This is the so-called “peaceful” religion of Islam.  Muslims around the globe are committing these heinous crimes each and everyday that passes us by.  How can anyone in their right mind want to be part of such a religion?  It just doesn’t make any sense to me at all.  Yet, these Muslims who are committing such atrocities are only following what the Quran commands them to do.  They are being faithful to their religion.  If you ask me it is a religion of Satan himself!

Horrific claims of torture emerge in wake of Kenyan mall massacre

Soldiers told of the horrific torture meted out by terrorists in the Nairobi mall massacre yesterday with claims hostages were dismembered, had their eyes gouged out and were left hanging from hooks in the ceiling.

Men were said to have been castrated and had fingers removed with pliers before being blinded and hanged.

Children were found dead in the food court fridges with knives still embedded in their bodies, it was claimed.

Who is God? Who is Allah?

Commentary By:  Gordon King

Who is God (Jesus Christ)?  What is he like?  Is he a God of peace, love and mercy?  Or is he a God of evil, hatred and unforgiveness?  How do we know what God is really like?

Well, I will give you a clue.  He shows us what he is like in his words to us.  In the Holy Bible.  In his actions and in his love for us.  God forgives us of all of our sins.  He is merciful.  God loves us unconditionally, even when we sin.  He is always with us, at all times, as long as we accept him into our lives.  He is righteous.  He has given us a free will to accept him or not.  God does no wrong.  He loves us so much that he forgives us even though we do not deserve it.  He sent his Son into the world as a sacrifice for the sins of the world.  Before the world accepted him.  How much more can he love us?

‘The Quran is our constitution’

“God is our Goal. The Prophet is our leader. The Quran is our constitution. Jihad is our way. Death in the service of God is the loftiest of our wishes. God is great, God is great.”

This is the motto of the Muslim Brotherhood, which was founded in Egypt as a vehicle to establish a worldwide Islamic empire governed by Shariah law. In “The Grand Deception”, a 70-minute film by the Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT), Steve Emerson traces the roots of Islamism inside the United States. This film examines the extent of Islamist influence within the country and highlights the danger it for all Americans.

Emerson, who broke the story of the U.S. suddenly deporting the original “person of interest” in connection with the April 15 Boston Marathon bombing, illustrates how the Brotherhood has transformed Islam into a political agenda, and this mix of religion and politics has become known as Islamism. Since the Brotherhood’s founding in 1928, it has established a presence in more than 70 countries, and countless organizations worldwide have adopted its strategy and goals.

“The Grand Deception” uncovers that today; organizations created by or inspired by the Muslim Brotherhood enjoy considerable influence within the United States. The government, media, and law enforcement often turn to these organizations when they want the pulse of the American Muslim community. But critics – Muslim and non-Muslim alike – say that engaging these organizations poses a danger.

According to these critics, although members of these organizations might appear to be moderate, they support an interpretation of Islam that is at odds with democracy and human rights as they are commonly understood in the Western world. Engaging these organizations bestows an undeserved legitimacy upon them and makes it easier for them to advance their secretive agenda.

Based extensively on primary source materials, as well as expert first-hand accounts and authentic archival material, “The Grand Deception” provides access to factual content and differentiates that content from a range of subjective viewpoints. From there you as a viewer are free to come to your own conclusion about the Muslim Brotherhood’s and radical Islam’s presence and progress in the United States.
