School Apologizes for Propagandizing Students to Love Obama – 6 Videos

A Wisconsin school is accused of employing 1940s-style German propaganda tactics after it played a video of celebrities proselytizing an intense love for the state, and in particular the Obama Administration, at a school assembly.

During the Hudson School District’s Peace One Day event – an occasion meant to build peace awareness and promote the notion of global unity – the school played a YouTube video from Oprah Winfrey’s “I Pledge” campaign launched soon after President Obama took office.

The video shows actors Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Alyssa Milano, P Diddy and Cameron Diaz, to name a few, pledging to make the world a better place through the adjustment of certain behaviors.

The Straight and Narrow Path

Matthew Chapter 7 verse 13 and 14: “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. ¹⁴ But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”

Jesus tells us that the path to God is narrow, but the path to Hell is wide.  I take this to mean that there is only one way to God and that is through Jesus.

John 14:6  ^‘Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’

Oprah Winfrey has stated that there are many ways to Heaven and God.  That Jesus is only one way.  Well, this completely contradicts what the bible tells us.  Either she is right or wrong.  She can’t have it both ways.  By her saying that there are many ways to God, she is actually saying that the path is very wide.  The bible tells us that it is very narrow.  By her stating that there are many ways to God other than Jesus, she is saying that one can believe in idols and other gods.

The first of the Ten Commandments tells us:  “You shall not have any other god but me.”

The second Commandment:     Exodus 4-6 “You must not make for yourself an idol of any kind or an image of anything in the heavens or on the earth or in the sea. ⁵ You must not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God who will not tolerate your affection for any other gods. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children; the entire family is affected—even children in the third and fourth generations of those who reject me. ⁶ But I lavish unfailing love for a thousand generations on thosewho love me and obey my commands.”

So for anyone to say that there are many ways to God is false.  At least if you worship Jesus.  For there is but one way to God the Father and Jesus the son and that way is by accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior!    Amen
