Manhattan woman raped as her 7-year-old daughter slept next to her: Cops

 The New York City Police Department is seeking the public's assistance identifying the following individual wanted for a rape which took place on November 11, 2013 at approximately 0330 hours in the confines of the 5th Pct. The suspect entered the victim’s apartment and raped her at knifepoint. The suspect is described as male wearing a black knitted hat, black leather jacket and black pants.

The NYPD released this sketch of the man suspected in the attack. He is described as wearing a black knitted hat, black leather jacket and black pants.

Cops said the rapist crawled into the Mulberry St. apartment through a fire escape window Monday morning and attacked the 42-year-old victim.
