Are we about to see Signs and Wonders from God!

Commentary By:  Gordon King

Jesus commanded as Christians to be aware, to watch and wait for his return.  The time is close, even at hand.  We are living in the end times. The time and the season for the return of our precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to return for his children.

These times are evil and dark.  The world is embracing this evil and rejecting the truth of God Almighty.  With each passing day the world is getting darker and darker.  Good, moral and righteous values are quickly being overtaken by the wicked and sinful.

“What will be the sign of your coming and the end of the age?”

Future prophecy (Imminent) / Signs Appearing Now

Jesus disciples came to him and asked him that question after he told them that he would leave them and return.  Jesus gives them signs to watch for leading to the end.  I believe this to be the end of the age, which is now the current church age.  Jesus goes on to tell his disciples that the day and hour is not known.

He is speaking of the rapture of the church.  He gives an example (Matthew 24:40-41) of two men in the field, one taken one left, two women grinding, one taken and one left.  He goes on to speak of his coming like a thief in the night (Matthew 24:42-44).  This must be the rapture, we will not know when he is coming.  It will be as the days of Noah, it will also be at the coming of the Son of Man.  I also take this to mean that wickedness will abound, as well as the people will be living their lives as normal, not watching or listening to the signs around them.

The second coming of Christ is a different time.  When he returns to earth, we all will know.  There will be signs (Luke 21).

Are You a Christian? Do You Study Bible Prophecy? Are You a Fanatic?

By Gordon King

Hello folks!  I hope and pray that you are all well and under the protection of the Lord.  I pray for vision, truth and enlightenment for all.  Amen

I find myself, almost daily, in a situation with another Christian who thinks that I am a fanatic.  Can you believe that?  A fanatic.  What exactly does that mean?

The Free Dictionary definition:   fanatic [fəˈnætɪk]  1. “a person whose enthusiasm or zeal for something is extreme or beyond normal limits.”

Ok, so is that such a bad thing?  Of course my zeal for God is beyond normal limits.  I am filled with the Holy Spirit of God.  It’s the supernatural power of God that drives me.  Aren’t all Christians supposed to be like that?  I believe they are.  If you are truly saved and a child of the Almighty God, Jesus Christ, then you should be a fanatic.  You should be filled with the Holy Spirit and driven to spread the word of God.  You should be walking with God daily, praying to God throughout the day, seeking the wisdom and knowledge of God.  Asking God to give you his gifts of the Spirit.  We should be hungry for more of God!  This is what God asks of us.  These are his words to us:

Matthew 22:37   “And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.”

Revelation 3:19   “Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent.”

Matthew 25:31   “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

Mark 16:15  “ And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.”

Colossians 3:1-2   “If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.”

Hebrews 11:6   “Whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him”

1 Chronicles 16:11   “Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!”

Do you study bible prophecy?  I love to study bible prophecy.  One third of the bible is prophetic.  Why in the world would a Christian not want to learn or hear about bible prophecy.  But, I hear it all the time from other Christians:  “Oh, you’re not going to talk about that again?”  “You are over the top.”  “You are going to far.”  “I don’t like to talk about that stuff.”  “I have friends who are really into that.”  “Everything in the bible is not true fact, somethings are allegorical.”  “Revelation is written to put fear into your heart, it’s not really true prophecy.” And I hear it from unbelievers as well:  “You’re a nut.”  “What planet are you from?”  “Don’t start talking about that religious stuff.”  “You’re a conspiracy theorist.”  “Those are just stories, it’s not true.” God gave us prophecies for his glory.  Also to give his children advance notice and warning of what is to come.

Luke 12:40   40 “You also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”

2 Thessalonians 2:9   “The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders”

Luke 12:54-56   54 “He also said to the crowds, “When you see a cloud rising in the west, you say at once, ‘A shower is coming.’ And so it happens. 55 And when you see the south wind blowing, you say, ‘There will be scorching heat,’ and it happens. 56 You hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of earth and sky, but why do you not know how to interpret the present time?”

1 Thessalonians 5:2-9   2 “For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief. For you are all children[a] of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness. So then let us not sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, are drunk at night. But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet the hope of salvation. For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,”

Well,  I don’t know about you, but as for myself, I believe the entire word of God to be the truth.  God has planted mysteries in the bible.  They shall be revealed to true believers in the end times.  If we, as Christians, love God and believe his words to be true, then we must believe the entire bible to be the truth.  We are not to only believe what we choose to believe, but we must believe all of God’s words.  We are not to pick and choose to suit our life styles.  If that were the case then why even bother?  Why believe and put our trust in God?  If we do not believe that the entire bible is the true, infallible word of the living God, then what difference does it make?  It wouldn’t.  Therefore I rest my case.  I believe in God and all of God’s words.

John 17:17   “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”

2 Timothy 3:16-17   (ESV)   16All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”

(NLT)   16 “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 17 God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.”

As Christians we need to study the entire bible.  We must study bible prophecy.  We must study Revelation.  We need to learn from God’s words.  He is telling us what is to come.  Jesus tells us to be prepared.  He gives us many parables regarding this (Matthew 25: Ten Virgins, Matthew 25:14–30  Bags of Gold,  Matthew 25:31–46  Sheep and Goats).  God’s mind is greater than our own, his ways are greater than ours.  God’s ways are often mysterious.  We shall not understand much of the Lord’s ways until we get to heaven.

Revelation 21:7-8 shows the fate of those not going to heaven:    “Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

1 Corinthians 2:9   “But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”

Revelation 21:1-5
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

Revelation 21:21-25
And the twelve gates were twelve pearls, each of the gates made of a single pearl, and the street of the city was pure gold, transparent as glass. And I saw no temple in the city, for its temple is the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb. And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and its lamp is the Lamb. By its light will the nations walk, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it, and its gates will never be shut by day—and there will be no night there.

Matthew 5:8   “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.”

These are the words of the living God, Jesus Christ.  Like it or not.  We are to study the entire bible.  We are to have zeal for God.  To seek him daily.  To pray daily, without ceasing.  To spread his word and lead the lost to salvation.  If you are an unbeliever, then I strongly urge you to accept Jesus now.  We do not know how much time we are allotted here on earth.  Give your life to the Lord.  You will never regret it.  On the other hand, if you don’t, then you will always regret it.  Think about it, pray about it.

Accept Jesus now as your personal Lord and Savior.  Click here to get saved!

God Bless Everyone!    🙂

The Straight and Narrow Path

Straight-Narrow-Path

By Gordon King

Matthew Chapter 7 verse 13 and 14: “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”

Jesus tells us that the path to God is narrow, but the path to Hell is wide.  I take this to mean that there is only one way to God and that is through Jesus.

John 14:6  Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’

Oprah Winfrey has stated that there are many ways to Heaven and God.  That Jesus is only one way.  Well, this completely contradicts what the bible tells us.  Either she is right or wrong.  She can’t have it both ways.  By her saying that there are many ways to God, she is actually saying that the path is very wide.  The bible tells us that it is very narrow.  By her stating that there are many ways to God other than Jesus, she is saying that one can believe in idols and other gods.

The first of the Ten Commandments tells us:  “You shall not have any other god but me.”

The second Commandment:     Exodus 4-6 “You must not make for yourself an idol of any kind or an image of anything in the heavens or on the earth or in the sea. You must not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God who will not tolerate your affection for any other gods. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children; the entire family is affected—even children in the third and fourth generations of those who reject me. But I lavish unfailing love for a thousand generations on thosewho love me and obey my commands.”

So for anyone to say that there are many ways to God is false.  At least if you worship Jesus.  For there is but one way to God the Father and Jesus the son and that way is by accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior!    Amen

Are you Depressed? Feeling Hopeless? In Crisis? Afraid? Lonely?

The world can be a lonely place. Unemployment rates are high. Economic stability is a thing of the past. Our future retirement plans are in jeopardy. Birthrates out-of-wedlock are at the highest they have ever been. Divorce, domestic violence and abuse are all a common reality. Crime is increasing daily. Mass murders are frequent and heinous. Schools are becoming more violent and evil. Government seems to be taking away more of our rights and privacy. Have you been a victim of a natural disaster?

Do you suffer from depression, anxiety or stress? Have you been the victim of abuse or violence? Have you been the perpetrator of a crime? Perhaps you are feeling guilty of something you have done in the past? Adultery, abortion, drug abuse, hatred, theft or even murder? Is your conscience haunting you day and night? Are you in a difficult and impossible situation? Does life seem hopeless?

There is an answer to your problems. The answer is Jesus! Jesus can wipe away your sins and give you new life. He will forgive you of your sins. Yes, even murder! Jesus will forgive you of all your sins. He can and will give you peace and comfort in trying times.

1 John 1:9

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

Matthew 12:31-32

And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.”

The only sin that is not forgivable is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit of God. All other sins are forgivable. ALL.

You may be thinking that you are just not good enough for God to forgive you. Well, the bible tells us that not one man is without sin or blame, except for Jesus Christ.

Romans 3:23

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”

You see, if we are to be good enough for God by our works, then not one of us who ever lived would be “good enough” to be saved. Not one! We are not saved by our good works, but by the grace of God. This is God’s loving gift to us. That is how much he loves us. All we need to do is believe in him and accept his gift to us!

Ephesians 2:8-9

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast.”

God loves us so much that he sacrificed himself for us. Before we even knew him.

John 3:16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

He also wants to give you peace and comfort. Do not fear or be afraid, accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior.

John 14:27

“I am leaving you with a gift-peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”

God loves you. God is love. God is light. God is truth.

If you are having troubles in life, believe me, you are not alone. Let God handle your problems for you, he wants you to give them to him. In return he will give you peace, comfort and eternal life. Eternal life in heaven and on a new earth, to live forever with him, where you shall never cry again or your heart ache, never shall you go hungry or thirst. He can relieve you of depression, fear, anxiety, lonliness, and in dealing with any crisis.

Romans 15:13

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Philippians 4:6-7

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

1 Peter 5:7

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

Isaiah 41:10

So do not fear, for I am with you;

do not be dismayed, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you and help you;

I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Psalm 41:3

The Lord nurses them when they are sick

and restores them to health.

Luke 10:19

I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.

Philippians 4:13

I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

Heaven is a real place, not some made up fantasy story. Life with God is real. It will be real after you pass on and now in this physical world. God is real now and then. Just as he was in the beginning.

John 10:10

The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.

2 Thessalonians 3:16

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you his peace at all times and in every situation. The Lord be with you all.

Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and enjoy your life in peace.
