Cecil Williams, who fell into the path of an oncoming A train at the 125th St. station on Tuesday, tearfully thanked Orlando, the guide dog who stuck by him after the two fell onto the tracks. Thanks to donations, Williams will be able to keep Orlando, having thought he would have to give the dog up after he retired from service because he couldn’t afford to keep both him and another guide dog.

I don’t know about you folks, but the Holy Spirit is working overtime today in my neck of the woods. I feel so led to continue writing posts to get the Word out.
I feel the Spirit inside of me telling me to write one more post for the day. This is it.
Calling all Christians, whether or not you are walking close to God right now. It is time! Listen to what I am telling you. Wake up everyone, wake up. We are living in the season. The time of the end. Jesus is coming soon. I can’t tell you when. But, for some reason I must write and tell you this.
Earlier this week a baby was saved in Brighton after pro-life volunteers were able to speak with a woman considering an abortion.
Abort67 volunteers Pauline Peachy and Kathryn Attwood were outside the Wistons abortion clinic in Brighton. Pauline tells the story:
“A taxi stopped and a young woman got out alone. I thought she might stop but she hurried past, not looking at me. However she came out less than half an hour later. She stopped and listened then. She hadn’t taken the pill. She took some leaflets, but when I showed her the little feet pin she started to cry. We talked together for a while. We asked her what help she needed to keep the baby, said that whatever it was we could provide it (God has never let us down!). We decided to go to a cafe where we could talk.
“She was afraid; her husband was afraid… She was a Catholic who believed in God. She wanted to have an early abortion because she thought it wasn’t really a baby yet.”
“After our conversation with her she was adamant she would keep the baby no matter what anybody said.
“I think that baby was saved through a combination of factors. Firstly, the Holy Spirit softening her heart through prayer. Secondly, our obedience to God to stand outside the clinic and openly share with her the reality of abortion.”
At Christian Concern, we have teamed up with Abort67 to run a two day pro-life training conference.
The Clarkson Academy will take place from 5-7 September in central London and offers participants a chance to hear talks from some of the foremost pro-life campaigners and thinkers from the US. If you’d like to find out more, visit www.clarksonacademy.org

The world we live in is an ugly place. Evil, violence and apostasy rule the day. Demonic spirits rule the night. Spiritual warfare is manifesting itself in the physical realm. What we see happening in our day-to-day lives is often occurring first in the Spirit world.
Satan / Lucifer is, according to Ephesians 2:2 “The prince of the power of the air”. He not only controls the inner heavens but also the earth. His time here is short before the return of the Lord. He knows that he has little time, therefore he is beginning to “raise hell” before the end.
A homeless US man will soon have well over $150,000 (£98,000) after he returned an engagement ring to a woman who accidentally dropped it in his cup earlier this month.
Sarah Darling’s fiancé set up a website seeking donations for Billy Ray Harris, who frequently panhandles on Kansas City’s Country Club Plaza. By Tuesday morning, more than 6,000 people had donated more than $148,000 to the fund.
“I think in our world we often jump to like the worst conclusion, and it just makes you realise that there are good people out there,” Ms Darling said.
Mr Harris discovered the ring about an hour after Darling dumped spare change from her coin purse into his cup. She had taken off her ring earlier that day and put it with the coins.
“The ring was so big that I knew if it was real, it was expensive,” Mr Harris told KCTV.
Ms Darling was upset when she realised the next day what she had done. She went back to Mr Harris, squatted beside him and told him that she might have given him something valuable.
Ms Darling gave Mr Harris all the cash she had in her wallet at the time.
“It seemed like a miracle,” Ms Darling said. “I thought for sure there was no way I would get it back.”
In explaining why he did not keep the ring, Mr Harris said he had a religious upbringing.
“My grandfather was a reverend,” Mr Harris said. “He raised me from the time I was six months old and thank the good Lord, it’s a blessing, but I do still have some character.”
