Massive planet EIGHT times the size of Jupiter is discovered 25,000 light-years away – and could give clues to how planets form
(SOURCE) A massive world 2,500 times the size of Earth has been discovered by an international team of astronomers.
Named MOA-2011-BLG-322, the planet is around eight times the size of Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system.
Astronomers believe it orbits a star 25,000 light-years away and has a mass that is one third that of our sun.
