So You Don’t Believe in God? Then I Have a Question For You!

You say that you don’t believe in God?  That there is no such thing as God.  That God is just make believe.

I have a question for you.  What in the world is going on?  What do I mean by that you ask?

Are you alive?  Or are you a zombie?  Open the news papers, watch the news.  Look at what is going on around you in the world.

Devastating vehicle accidents.  We have had numerous train accidents in the past six months to one year.   Not only trains, but buses, airplanes, cars, hot air balloons, cable cars.  These are not common occurrences in either numbers or severity.

Meteor showers.  We all have seen the very strange and unusual meteors hitting the earth over the past year.  Unheard of.  Never in my life have I experience such an event.

Solar flares.  Not just solar flares, but, massive, gigantic flares, which just keep happening.

Dead animals.  Thousands upon thousands of dead animals in bunches.  Dead fish by the millions, thousands of dead, sheep, goats, pigs, birds, whales, dolphins, bees, just to name a few. 

Earthquakes around the globe.  Sure we have had earthquakes for as long as I can remember, but, not with such devastating effects.   The death toll continues to rise almost daily.

Tornadoes in mass.  We have had extreme loss of life and property over the past year from deadly tornadoes.  Much worse in severity and numbers then in the past.

Heat wave.  Record breaking heat temperatures around the globe causing death, drought and famine.

Innumerable hail storms throughout the world.  These have not been your average “run of the mill” hail storms.  These storms are causing massive damage, with hail stones being reported as large as grape fruit.

Wild fires.  Once again, we have had countless number of fires this year causing death and destruction for anything in its path.  Much worse then in years gone by.

Zombie attacks.  Wild, naked humans, full of rage attacking innocent civilians and eating them alive.   Eating animals alive.  Explain this one.

Be-headings.  Increase in Islamic terror attacks on people who do not believe in Allah.  Increased persecution of Christians around the globe.  Imprisonment, torture and murder of innocent Christians by radical Muslims, all in the name of Allah.

Blood red water.  Numerous lakes, rivers, streams and even oceans turning blood-red.  Reports of blood-red rainfall as well.

Strange noises.  Unusual, unexplainable noises coming from the sky.  Loud humming noises, noises of trumpets, with no explanation.

Societal meltdown.  Riots, protests and uprising around the world.  Overthrow of government.  This is not an isolated incident.  The violence is not declining, on the contrary, it is escalating.

Global economic depression.  World banks and governments bankrupt.  Stealing money from depositors accounts without their approval.  Governments unable to meet the needs of the people or communities.  This is also happening state and city-wide.

Famine.  Millions if not Billions of people are starving each and everyday. 

Disease.   Strange new diseases are popping up month by month.  Not only new diseases, but diseases that were once put to rest, as well as diseases that are becoming mutated and anti-biotic resistant.

War and rumor of war.  Wars raging around the globe.  Rumors of wars each and everyday.  The Middle East has been a hot topic for decades, yet now it seems to be coming to a head.  The tension in the Middle East is all focused upon Israel.  World War 3 is at the door, even as you read this.

Peace agreement.  America and the United Nations are working diligently to bring peace to the Middle East.  They would like Israel to relinquish half of the city of Jerusalem to  the Palestinians as part of the agreement. 

Increased evil and violence.  The evil and violence in our world is increasing at a rapid rate.  Heinous murders, abuse and torture.  Parents killing children, children killing parents.  People being murdered and victimized for no other reason then they were in the wrong place at the right time.

There is so much happening in the world today, that I could not list it all. 

So if you do not believe in God, then please tell me why all of this is happening now?  Do you have an answer?   I do.

Everything that I mentioned above is spoken of in the bible.  It is all part of bible prophecy.  Jesus told us to watch and be prepared.  To be prepared for the time of the end.  He gave us the signs to watch for.  All of the above are part of the signs.  It will get much, much worse.

I strongly urge you to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior.  If you wait too long it will be too late.  For God will send a strong delusion upon those who do not believe in him.  They will believe the lies of Satan, and not be able to accept God.

It’s not too late.  Do it now.  What do you have to lose?  What are you afraid of?  Are you afraid of God?  God loves you and wants you to accept him.  If you don’t then you should be afraid of him.  For judgement upon the world is coming.  The world will be judged much worse than what is happening today.

Don’t wait any longer.   Accept Jesus now.  He loves you dearly.

It’s Not About Us!

It’s not about us!  It’s about God.  It’s about Jesus.  That’s what it’s all about. 

It is so easy for believers to get caught up in what’s happening in the world today.  Including our own lifes.  We worry about debt, loss of jobs, family turmoil, buying a house, etc.  Then we have so much evil and hatred in the world.  It’s a bit overwhelming to read all of the headlines bombarding us with bad news.  The violence and crime, unspeakable and heinous acts, economic turmoil, government control, natural disasters, and strange signs. 

We need to remember that all of these things are leading up to the return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!  That is why we are seeing all of these horrible events.  That is why they continue to escalate in numbers daily without relenting.  His return is getting closer, Amen.

Too late to believe after the boat sinks

For many years, film producer James Cameron (of “Titanic” fame, among other blockbusters) was a closet atheist, hiding as an “agnostic” from the real world of atheism.

The word “agnostic” comes from the Greek word agnōstos, which means “unknown, unknowable,” and has grown to mean that someone doesn’t know if God’s exists. An agnostic is like a man who looks at the finished production of a major motion picture, but he’s not sure if there was a producer. It may have been caused by an explosion in some studio a long time ago, or it may have had a producer, but he’s not sure.

 Such a person would be better classified as “unthinking,” rather than not knowing. How could any movie make itself, without the involvement of an army of script writers, graphic artists, actors, grips, sets, a production crew of sound and lighting experts, editors and a million and one other things necessary for a major motion picture production? The agnostic lives in a fog of oblivion when it comes to God.

But James Cameron didn’t feel comfortable with just being an agnostic. He called it “cowardly atheism.”

One day he decided to take courage, and so he said, “I’ve sworn off agnosticism, which I now call cowardly atheism. I’ve come to the position that in the complete absence of any supporting data whatsoever for the persistence of the individual in some spiritual form, it is necessary to operate under the provisional conclusion that there is no afterlife and then be ready to amend that if I find out otherwise.”

James Cameron is no longer in doubt about the existence of God, because one day he took a leap of faith from agnosticism (not knowing if God exists) into the world of atheism (“a disbelief in the existence of deity”). The doubt went and conclusive faith came because of “a complete absence of any supporting data whatsoever.” That led him to his “provisional” conclusion. He has made no provision for the existence of God, and he won’t make any provision until he finds otherwise.

That sounds vaguely familiar. Designers of a large ship many years ago were so sure that it couldn’t sink that they made no provision for such a disaster. They had so much faith in themselves and their design of the ocean liner, that they hardly gave the need for lifeboats a second thought. You would think that if anyone learned a lesson from such pride-filled arrogance, it would be James Cameron.

The overconfidence of the Titanic designers wasn’t amendable. They couldn’t fix the problem of the sinking ship after it struck the iceberg. It was too late because there was no second chance. When they called for help, none came.

Imagine being on the Southampton dock back on April 10, 1912, knowing that five days later the unsinkable Titanic would sink like a rock. It would go to the bottom of the icy ocean, taking with it 1,502 precious human lives. If you had foreknowledge of the disaster, what would you say to the passengers as they excitedly boarded the ship? You couldn’t remain silent. Such is the plight of the Christian. We can’t remain silent because we know what the future holds.

There is sure hope for those who humble themselves in this life, repent and trust alone in Jesus, but once we sink into the icy waters of death, there’s no second chance. If we die in our sins, we will get justice from a holy Creator, and there isn’t a hope in hell.

Jesus said, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.”

“Condemned” means just what it says, and “saved” means what it says.
