A 6.7-strong earthquake strikes northeast of Barbados

(SOURCE)  –  The U.S. Geological Survey says a magnitude-6.7 earthquake has struck northeast of Barbados.

It was not immediately clear if Tuesday’s quake, centered some 172 kilometers (107 miles) northeast of Bathsheba, Barbados, caused any damage or casualties.

USGS said the earthquake struck Tuesday at a depth of 17 kilometers (10.5 miles).
