Prayers for the victims of the earthquake in Iraq and Iran

Commentary By:  Gordon King

A strong and powerful earthquake struck the border of Iraq and Iran on Sunday, November 12, 2017, leaving hundreds dead and many more injured.  The devastation is widespread, leaving many homeless, and many losing all of their belongings.

As children of God Almighty let us take a moment to stop and pray for the victims of this natural disaster.  Let us do what we can to help and aid these victims and others like them in their time of need and desperation!  Let us love them as Christ loves us!

God Almighty, hear our prayers, as we grieve over the loss of life we also pray for the safety and protection of the victims of this disaster in Iraq and Iran.  Please bring comfort and healing to these people, help them in their time of need, provide for them and give them peace.  I pray that through this tragedy You show them who You are, that You bring many to the saving grace of Your salvation, that the truth of Jesus Christ will shine through to them, and that many more will be saved!  In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

God bless my friends!  Maranatha!
