Welcome!

Jesus tells us to pick up our cross and follow him. That is the mission of this site. That is my mission from God. To share his word and to hopefully lead others to Christ’s Salvation. 

This site is God’s website. It is written through me, he has inspired me by his Holy Spirit. I am in no way stating that these are the words of God himself, unless highlighted and/or stated as such.  He has directed me to spread the Gospel and warn others about the coming tribulation and wrath of God through this site. All of the glory goes to God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit. Praise God! Hallelujah! Amen

Matthew 24:14

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”

I am a Christian that takes the Bible literally. I believe in the Trinity of God. God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and The Holy Spirit, that Jesus Christ was not merely a righteous man, but that He is in fact God! I believe that Jesus was crucified on the cross, shed his blood to cover our sins and redeem us to the Father, that he died on the cross, was buried in a tomb and remained there for three days. I believe that Jesus arose from the dead and ascended into Heaven to be with The Father. I believe that there is no other way to The Father, except through the acceptance of these things, repenting of your sins and accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior! Amen

John 14:6

“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me’.”

We will explore the prophetic word of God. What the Bible tells us will happen now and in the future. What has happened in the past and current world events as they pertain to the Bible. I do not claim to be a prophet. I will not claim to know the future, other than what God has written in his word. Interpretation of God’s word may vary between individuals. You have the right not to agree with me or my statements. We should strive to teach one another. We should ask God for his devine intervention and wisdom in truth and interpretation.

  2. Thanks Lyn! 😉 Sorry I haven’t been around much. Busy working overtime and with blog / videos. By the way, I had to remove the “is Obama the anti-christ” video. I watched it on youtube and it had some flaws. I have fixed it and am now in the process of re-uploading (is that a word?)it. So if you would like to reblog it, I should have it back up and running soon.

  7. Hi, Just a thought that if I read in your front page that you take the bible literally, then should you not then listen to the words of Jesus as written by Mathew 10 5 and 6 and “Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. 6 Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel.
    I read this literal meaning as only go to the Jewish people and leave the Gentiles alone?

  9. While this was true at first, it later spread to the Gentiles as well. Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

    28 Then Jesus said to her, “Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.” And her daughter was healed at that moment.

    Matthew 16:24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. 25 For whoever wants to save their life[f] will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. 26 What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? 27 For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.

    Matthew 24:12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

    Matthew 28:16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
    There is plenty more where that came from. Read Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Corinthians.

  10. I agree with your reply to Tim. The Gospel was preached first to the Jews, but the Apostle Paul was commissioned to preach to the Gentiles (thank God!) Also, I have recently published a slim volume: “Understanding Bible Prophecy,” in which I use a simple system to help people understand why prophecy is in the Bible in the first place, and which demonstrates the accuracy and authenticity of the Bible. It is available on Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble.com. My purpose in writing it is to spread the Gospel to unbelievers, and to help believers grow deeper in their trust of God’s Word.

  16. Hey Gordon! I don’t think that I have commented over here before and I can’t remember exactly when I discovered your blog. Whenever I discover another blogger covering the Bible perspective on the news and times we’re living in, I like to let my readers know about them. I’m featuring you today along with another blog that I discovered last month. I find there is a wonderful sort of fraternity among the bloggers who are devoted to this topic. At least between the ones who aren’t in it for the sake of arguing positions, etc. I have been at it for just over a year and am amazed at the response. I’ve occasionally submitted articles to Rapture Ready, and the responses I get from readers, they are so hungry for true news, to find others who are clinging to our blessed hope in a time when scoffers abound inside and outside the church. Just wanted to introduce myself and really, I’m sorry I hadn’t done so sooner. Been a lot going on over in my little corner and that is another reason that I always like to pass along to others when I find someone else covering what I cover. In case I’m out of commission, they know where else they can turn. You’ve got a great blog going here! Keep up the good work and God bless you!

    I believe that as time goes on there will be more and more people hungry for the truth. However, with that being said, I also believe that there will come a time when most people will not want to hear the truth about God! We are already seeing increased persecution of Christians around the globe.

    I agree with you that there do seem to be many who just want to argue. People who call themselves Christians! It is almost unbelievable.

  25. Hi, God spoke to me back in February of this year. I was going through a trial in my life. I said to God you have done so much for me and I want to do something for you. I asked God, What can I do for you? Then said, I will rest here a while and wait to hear from you.   26. Dear Brother King, as I write this, my husband is in a VA hospital having the circulation in both legs checked via ultrasound scan. It has not been done since 2006. Could you pray for him today – that answers and healing of pain will come quickly by the hand of our Lord Jesus. Revelation unto salvation also for him. Pray for me as I have anxiety. May the Lord bless you and continue to use you.

  28. Thank you – I know you have been praying – the anxiey at times sends me into overkill (a vicious circle). He had protection yesterday driving back from the VA hospital (100 miles from home). He slammed on his brakes to avoid hitting a buck, and was struck in the rear by another vehicle. Thank god both men were unhurt. My husband’s company vehicle was hardly dented – the car that hit him was seriously damaged, unfortunately. That medical report comes back to the local VA clinic and they are supposed to call my husband. I have been reading the news articles here and also your commentaries. You are a gifted and annointed writer. I truly believe that the Lord is using you to change lives. I will pray whenever the Lord directs me to. I have a prayer partner with whom I pray on a regular basis. I am so grateful for so many things – and I tell God so. I am grateful for you, Brother King. Multiplied Blessings upon you ans yours. Will keep you posted.

  33. Well Mrs. CJB, personally I believe that the bible is the infallible, written Word of God Almighty. I take it as I read it and try not to read into it. I believe that many people try to make it into something that it is not, either maliciously or out of benevolence. Regardless, if it is not the truth, then I tend to stay away from it.

    I looked over some of the post, however, it is very lengthy and I do not have the time for all of it. Actually, that was all I needed to see that this is a false teaching. At least in my beliefs, anyway. They have taken some scripture out of it’s original context to make their points. As I said, I have not looked at much of it.

    They say that Jesus is not going to physically come back in the clouds for all to see. Well, scripture tells us otherwise. They also say that only the “pure” as the Lord, will see him. Well, none of us are “pure” as the Lord. Only through the blood of Jesus are we made pure.

    I have not read enough of the article to see what all they believe. But, it seems as though they are saying that Christ will appear to us when we die, and that this is his second coming. That Christ has already appeared thousands of times to believers, and will appear thousands of more times.

    I disagree with what they are saying. Christ has not appeared thousands of times before, nor will he appear thousands of times in the future. It is true that when we are born again we receive the Holy Spirit of God, and that the Kingdom of Heaven is available to us now, it is at hand. I believe that, in a spiritual sense. However, God tells us that we will be changed, our bodies, into immortal bodies and we will physically be in heaven with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. That we will return to earth with Christ at His “Second Coming” during Armageddon.

    I do not like to study too much of other peoples teachings if I feel or sense that it is false, misguided, misleading and deceiving. I choose not to pollute my mind, soul and spirit with such nonsense. Many people seem to think that the bible is not true to it’s words, and they only take it as spiritual truth and not in a physical sense. I disagree. If God tells me something, I will believe him over a human being.

    Jesus is coming back physically at his second coming, and before that in the clouds for the rapture of His church. I believe this to be the written truth, accurate, and Holy. I do not listen to others who try to deceive me. Be very careful what you regard as the truth!

  34. Thank you for this insight. I agree with what you are saying and saw the falseness and the interpretation of them as being from men rather than the Holy Ghost. I had been on his weekly digest list and looked infrequently on the site as some of the observations were in line with God’s Word. This is a blatant falling away from the scriptures and the promises of God and I am removing myself from his email list. God Bless, my Brother. I’ll keep you posted.     Every word in the bible is literally true and in accordance with each other.. from the first word to the last.
    2 Timothy 3:16,
    “All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction,
    and for training in righteousness”

    Compare everything with what the bible says … if it’s not in accordance.. it’s not true.. since the bible is COMPLETE!
    Revelation 22:18-19 ,
    “For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”

    The Philippines is only one nation to be hit by such calamities. It will happen all over the world my friend. This is only the beginning.

    God has a plan for our country specially the east part of our country sir which was devastated.
    Thank u for the prayers. God has a helping hand for he allow other countries to help Philippines which has sent many vessels to help transport, medications, etc. We are really in sympathy for our fellow-citizen Filipinos who were seriously affected by the calamities we had just experienced, You know sir, i am thanking God for sheltering my family despite from those Typhoons and Earthquakes, we are in the near of those calamities when it had happened because we are in the midst of Philippines, “Cebu” and last October we were shaken by magnitude 7.2 Earthquake and it was in Bohol and Cebu, which shatters old churches and other infrastructures and then after was the Supertyphoon “Haiyan” which also in Leyte, Samar, Cebu, etc. Sir pls help us also pray about our Government, that all those corruptions will be lost. That is one of the biggest problem we are facing here that’s why many Filipinos suffers hunger and famines. Thank u again Sir Gordon. Godbless u!!

I`m trying to understand whether this blog is christian or jewish, Wait, jewish definitely not, since jews aren`t too keen on Jesus…so…I want to say christian, except…meh, i`ve never understood why some hard core bible basher feel the need to somehow be a part of the jewish people. Have you ever even been to Israel? You should really go back and read the New Testament where Jesus states that he is the new covenant, and that he has come to set up not 10 but 2 new commandments. In fact, I don`t remember ever reading a passage where Jesus mentiones the name Jehova or Yahweh? On the other hand, hard core israeli jews would spit in your face for trying to usurp their religion and culture. If you believe in Jesus, you are a traitor to the jews.

  47. I only recently found your website. I appreciate it and have been blessed by what I find here. I have always considered Genesis 12:3 to be vitally important. I am beginning to be deeply concerned from my beloved USA because I see the current federal administration turning its back on Israel. I was age 6 when my late godly parents shouted all over the house in May of 1948 when the news came over the radio that Israel was once again a sovereign nation for the first time in more that two thousand years. My late father said to keep an eye on Israel because she is the best timepiece we have on earth. Keep up the good job of keep up up to date with the fulfillment of Bible prophecy here in these end times. I want to be ready and help everyone I can be ready for the soon and sudden catching away of the Bride of Christ from this troubled world (1 Thess,4:17).

  49. Hi Gordon I have only just come across your website yesterday and I have been scrolling through the information ever since. It’s brilliant and I am so impressed with your statement, announcing that the site is for The Lords Glory and all praise is to go to him. There are so many preachers/ teachers out there who sadly make a lot of money out of vulnerable people searching for the truth. Claiming that more blessings will come to them the more money they send to their ministries. Yes I do fully believe that we are entering the final stages of history and I have been following the Bible prophecies for many years. Israel is the key to world events and God’s word in Genesis 12v3 ( just one of many ) tells us of the special relationship between The Lord and the nation of Israel and it’s people.
    As Christians in these days we need to be Watchmen Isaiah 62:6,7 & Ezekiel 33 sounding the alarm and warning others of these dark days that are gathering at speed now. However there is a Hope and that is in the Name of The Lord Jesus. Hallelujah! He is the Saviour 2 Tim 1:10,The Light of the world, John 8:12 He is the Alpha & the Omega Rev 22:13.

    I have been led by the Holy Spirit of God to share His words and His message. To be a watchman on the wall, and to warn others of what is happening, and of what is coming. It’s all coming together just as God’s word said that it would.

    The Spirit leads me, and I write. That’s about it. I am nothing more than His messenger. I am not perfect, I am not better than anyone else, I have made many mistakes in my lifetime, believe me I have. Many people will not agree with what I write, even many Christians. However, I only speak the truth as I see it, and like I said, as the Spirit leads me. God does work in mysterious ways, and uses those without anything to gain for His glory!

  51. God bless you, sir. I am a relatively new believer to our lord Jesus Christ and am constantly learning more. It is all very exciting to me and I feel horrible being in my mid twenties and just now gaining a relationship with God. I have made it to the point where I believe Christ is my savior and will do anything for our Lord. My main concerns lie in the middle east I guess you could say, everything going on with isis and all. I find myself praying everyday asking the lord how I could help. I hadn’t gotten anything that I thought was a response until last night when I was sent a link to a youtube video called “flames of war”. This video is basically a recruiting movie for Isis. I don’t think the lord intends on me signing up for them or any other ingenious theories like that but I am wondering if maybe this could be something I was intended to see. Its very hard to explain, but it was an experience for sure. I was basically being told I was supposed to see this and all the bad that is happening. I just don’t know why, already out of the military so I cant exactly enlist for us again due to a med discharge but would in a heartbeat over this. But then again I cant say I felt as i was doing any of gods work when I was actually enlisted anyway. I could just use anothers view on this and im praying for good advice. Again, God bless!!

  52. Hello Jonathon! Don’t feel horrible about accepting Christ in your mid-twenties, rejoice my friend. Many shall never receive Christ.

    God speaks to us in many different ways, it takes time to learn how to discern what He is telling us. We should not follow our own understanding, but the understanding of the Lord. Such as what you believe to be a message from God. First off is it really a message from God? Or could it be Satan attempting to deceive you?

    Test all things brother. The apostle Paul tells us how to act:
    1 Thessalonians 5

    “16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

    19 Do not quench the Spirit. 20 Do not despise prophecies. 21 Test all things; hold fast what is good. 22 Abstain from every form of evil.”

    Notice he says to “test all things”. We must learn to discern what is from God and what is not. This takes practice, but the Holy Spirit of God shall guide you, for He lives within you.

    1 John 4 New King James Version

    “4 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

    4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. 6 We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.”

    Brother, this is what the Holy Spirit of God is telling me at this time, regarding what you have told me. Keep your eyes focused on the Middle East. This is where most of bible prophecy will be unfolding, this is our “prophetic time clock”. Do not be alarmed when you see these things happening, for they must come to pass before the second coming of Jesus Christ! The time is near, we are living in the end times. The rapture of the church and the second coming of Christ are close at hand. The evil and disaster in the world will increase prior to this time, as a warning to all people, to all nations. To repent of their sins and evil ways, to return to the Lord, to call upon His Holy name. The wrath of God shall soon be upon the world. Our job as Christians is to spread the “Gospel” of Jesus Christ, to warn the world of what will soon come upon them. This is what I see Johnathon.
    Matthew 24:42

    “42 Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.”

    As Christians we see, or should see and be aware of the evil and sin in the world. Not all Christians seem to really be aware, they are sleeping. You on the other hand are awake! You see and sense the evil in the world brother. That is a good thing. Just because God is showing you things, does not mean that He wants you to respond in the way you may be thinking, such as going to Iraq! Rather, He is giving you insight into the evil in the world, another sign of the times. He is letting you know this in order for you to spread the Word. To warn others of what is happening and what is coming! This is what I feel. You must pray about it, ask the Holy Spirit of God for enlightenment, insight, and wisdom.

    As a new believer in Christ, you have something that many who have been believers for many years have lost. That is a “Zeal” for Christ! This is a gift from the Lord Himself Jonathon. Use it to your advantage. Use it for the Lord! Get your testimony out their among the unbelievers and lead the lost to salvation! But remember, many shall not hear, many shall not believe, there shall be scoffers among you. Do not be disheartened brother, for it is not up to us to save the lost, rather our job is to share the Good News. It is God’s job to change hearts and save the lost. We plant the seeds, God does the rest!

    Do not loose your faith and conviction for the Lord when you are persecuted by unbelievers, or “so-called” Christians who persecute you. For it is written:
    Matthew 5:11-12 (NKJV)
    11 “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. 12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”

  53. When I see conflict in Syria in the news, I think of Isaiah 17. I have read and studied that verse, but I can’t understand where the destruction of Syria falls in the end time prophecy. Is this prophecy suppose to happen before or after the rapture or am I totally off on the entire? Thank you and God Bless

  54. Hello Lisa, thank you for your question.

    The destruction of Damascus is what you are referring to. It could happen at any time! There is not really a lot of rhyme or reason to it, however the stage is set, so it could occur at anytime, either before or after the rapture of the church. With all of the war and violence now happening in Syria, we could see this prophecy be fulfilled soon. The stage is also set for the Psalm 83 war and could also occur at any time. All of the nations spoken of in Psalm 83 are already surrounding Israel and they want to see her wiped off the face of the map!

    The rapture could also occur at any time, nothing else in bible prophecy needs to happen in order for the rapture to occur! Nothing!!! We merely need to watch for the signs that Jesus gave us in Matthew 24 to see that we are getting close to His return. However, as I believe in a pre-tribulation rapture of the church, the rapture must then take place prior to the signing of a “seven year” peace treaty with Israel. This event will start the prophetic time clock for the last seven years leading up to the return of Jesus Christ at Armageddon (His second coming!). You should read my page, “The Rapture” under the “Prepare” heading for scriptural documentation as to why I believe in a pre-trib rapture of the church.

    Keep in mind the “Blood-Red Moon Tetrad” which we are now in the middle of. Each moon occurs on a Jewish feast day, and the third of these moons on a Jewish feast day, but also on the “Shemitah” year, this video by Jonathan Cahn explains it (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ezw4mbpIgAo). I believe that we are in for some very significant events to occur between now and then. I have many articles written about the “blood-moon tetrad”, just enter “blood moon” in the search box and the articles will come up. You can also google “blood moon tetrad” and you will find tons of info on it.

    No one knows the exact timing of any of these events but our Father in heaven. If any one tells you that they do, then they are lying. It takes a lot of studying, research, and insight from the Lord to understand all of these things. Be patient with yourself as this is a lot of information to take in, study the scriptures, and listen to people whom you trust is giving you Godly information. Pray to God for understanding, wisdom and insight.

  67. Thanks for your comment Anonymous. I am not sure what you mean? Are you referring to comments, articles, or commentary written by me? What I write is led by the Holy Spirit of God. Articles that I post are from news sources. Comments that I post are from readers who are viewing their opinion and beliefs.

    Just because I post an article or a comment does not mean that I agree with it or them. I try to be fair and honest. If someone has a different view, then I may post it if they are not being offensive or obtrusive. I try to post comments from varying view points and beliefs. Comments are just that, other peoples comments. I am not posting their comments as the written word of God. You would not believe the comments that I receive, some are very rude, disrespectful, and nasty. If you want to know my beliefs, I have several pages accessible from the header bar at the top of the page.

    Everything that you or anyone else reads or hears from another must be held up against scripture. It is not up to me to do this, but the one who is reading, hearing, or listening. I have written before about new believers or those not strong in the faith, who need milk, not meat. Some things can be overwhelming to such. It is not up to me to decide.

    New believers need to take the word of God and information from external sources very slowly and gradually. It takes time to learn and to be able to discern. That is why we need to be in the word of God daily. To read, study and learn. To be able to discern the truth from a lie. This is up to each individual believer, not the source.

    Even when you go to church, you need to discern what the pastor is telling you from the truth of God’s word. You should have a bible with you during each and every sermon.

    Part of being a Christian and studying the word of God is to discuss biblical issues and beliefs. By posting opposing comments I am opening up the dialogue between both believers and unbelievers. If you oppose a commenters beliefs then you can also post a comment stating your beliefs.

    I was watching Perry Stone, who I think is a great minister. He says, along with many other ministers, that the 7 years of tribulation will start when Israel signs the Peace Treaty that allows them to rebuild the Temple.

    Can you find out for me when exactly the treat was signed?
    I think it was 2012 but I’m not sure if my date is right.

As far as the Tribulation period goes, we are not there yet. The seven year peace treaty has not been signed and the Anti-Christ has not yet been revealed. These will be the two major signs of the beginning of the Tribulation period. Hope this helps. God bless!
