We are now living in perilous times my friends, they are times of darkness, times when good is being turned into evil, and evil is being turned into good! Just a few short decades ago, being a Christian was seen as morally righteous in the world, it was a good thing. But the times have changed, and now Christians are seen as wicked and evil!
The antichrist spirit is alive in the world today, not only is it alive, but it is thriving!
1 John 2:18
“Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.”
The truth is being turned into lies and lies are being portrayed as the truth. Morals and values have degraded to the point of people accepting everything as good, as long as it doesn’t involve God, the one and only true God of the universe, God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit!
People have turned aside to fables as they worship the creation rather than the Creator! They have built up for themselves teachers that only tell them what they want to hear, instead of teaching them the truth, the whole truth! And many have strayed from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, and this my friends is apostasy!
Apostasy of the church is a sign of the closeness of the rapture of the church, as told to us by the apostle Paul in 2 Thessalonians. Our gathering together with Christ will be preceded by a great apostasy. I didn’t make it up, that’s what the apostle Paul said!
The good Lord is seeking true believers to worship Him, to perform His will on earth.
John 4:23-24
“ But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
As believers we are called to be watching, to stand firm in our faith, to be brave, and to be strong.
1 Corinthians 16:13
“Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. 14 Let all that you do be done with love.”
We are told not to follow the doctrines of demons nor the trickery of men, but to speak the truth in love.
Ephesians 4:14-15
“ that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—”
Believers who have written mercy and truth on the tablet of their heart will find favor with God!
Proverbs 3:3-4
“Let not mercy and truth forsake you;
Bind them around your neck,
Write them on the tablet of your heart,
4 And so find favor and high esteem
In the sight of God and man.”
Turn to God Almighty and He will pour out His Spirit on you!
Proverbs 1:23
“Turn at my rebuke;
Surely I will pour out my spirit on you;
I will make my words known to you.”
Take heed and continue in the doctrine of Jesus Christ.
1 Timothy 4:16
“Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.”
Those who love the Lord hate evil, and He will preserve our souls and deliver us from the wicked!
Psalm 97:10
“You who love the Lord, hate evil!
He preserves the souls of His saints;
He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.”
As believers in Jesus Christ, we are blessed with we are persecuted for Christ’s sake.
Matthew 5:11
“Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. 12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”
I truly believe that in these last days God is pouring out His Spirit upon the righteous, anointing us with the Holy Spirit, to all those that are performing His will and are seeking His face!
Isaiah 61:1-2
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
Because the Lord has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn,”
As followers of Christ, we are to be performing the will of God and exposing the unfruitful works of darkness.
Ephesians 5:11
“And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.“
It is my firm belief that God is anointing faithful believers with His Holy Spirit. I’m not saying that all believers don’t have the Holy Spirit within them, they do of course. What I am talking about is a special blessing from God for this time on earth. And I believe that He is doing it in order to restrain the evil in the world, to expose the darkness, and to share the truth with the world.
Much of the church has been compromised, believing in the doctrines of demons, falling into apostasy. The good Lord is searching out those that remain faithful to Him. It’s quickly becoming much more difficult for a believer to follow in Christ’s footsteps, to uncover the darkness, and to share the truth, as persecution against Christians intensifies.
As believers in Jesus Christ, we must read and study God’s word, we must rightly divide God’s word, and we must live out God’s word! Just knowing isn’t enough anymore, we must take a stand for righteousness and spread the truth!
The bible tells us to be holy because He is holy.
1 Peter 1:15-16
‘ but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, 16 because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.” ‘
We are to walk as Christ walked.
1 John 2:6
“He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.”
The signs of the last days are all around us my friends, time is short! Listen to God, follow the leading of the Holy Spirit within you! Be brave, be courageous, be strong, by the power of His might!
