On Friday June 24, 2022, the United States Supreme Court has announced that it has overturned the landmark abortion case of Roe versus Wade, meaning that each of the fifty States will decide if abortion is legal or illegal within its borders. This is a great victory for pro-life supporters, since there are many States which have “trigger” laws which will restrict or even outlaw abortion if Roe versus Wade was ever overturned.
The fight against abortion has been ongoing for decades now, and it seemed as if it would never in my lifetime be overturned! If you asked me, I would say that this is not only a great victory but a miraculous victory, especially since our government has been overrun with Leftists and our society has been on a steep moral decline! This is something to rejoice in and celebrate!
And although this is a time to celebrate, we must not become complacent nor forget that we are still in the heat of the battle! That’s right, the war is not over, this was only one of many battles my friends. We are in the middle of a spiritual war, and this was merely one battle, and although it was amazing it was still just one battle in the war against evil.
A battle has been won for good, however, this has also caused evil and wickedness to come out from the darkness in mass. Satanic spirits are enraged, and you can see them manifesting themselves through pro-abortionists. We should expect to see violence committed by them against pro-life groups, churches, and people who support life. We need to continue to the fight with prayers and support and stay vigilant.
We have all seen how Leftists react when they don’t get their way, they act with violence, aggression, and hypocrisy. I expect nothing less from them after this Supreme Court decision. They are anti-life, and anti-God, their policies lead to death and destruction, just as Satan himself does.
The overturning of Roe versus Wade did not end the fight against abortion, it merely moved it to the States. We have many States that are Leftist and are now reinforcing abortion laws and resources.
We need God Almighty to fight for us and with us, but in order for Him to hear us and answer our prayers we cannot be a believer living in sin! We cannot serve two masters at the same time, nor can a believer support abortion without sinning and being deceived. That’s like saying that you love God and hate Him at the same time! Sinning doesn’t include only physical acts, it also includes who and what you support, such as abortion, homosexuality, or making false accusations against someone, etc. Romans 1:28-32 tells us that those who not only commit but also those that are approving of very specific sins are deserving of death. This is why it is so very important to read and study the scriptures so that you know the heart of God.
As believers in Jesus Christ, we must come to Him with a clean heart and in faith, we need to repent of our own sins before we can ask Him to help us. Sin is sin, and if we ourselves are living in sin then how can we expect God to even hear our prayers? I believe that this has been a major problem with the church for decades now and has led to many of the problems that we face in the world today. Why do so many believers say that God doesn’t answer their prayers? Could it be that it’s because they are living in sin, or have not repented of it? God hates sin, it is an enemy of God, it is filthy and dirty! Repent of your sins and have faith that God will answer your prayers, we all need to do it.
As believers in Jesus Christ, we must believe in all of His words to be the truth, we must not twist them, change them, or interpret them with our own opinions or beliefs, nor add to them or take away from them, if we do then we are creating our own god!
We need to wake up and see the truth, we need to be able to see through the lies and deceit, we need to be able to discern the spirits, and we must be aware. Living as a Christian does not mean following the world, it means following Christ! Do not be fooled and led astray by the world but listen to God and follow the Holy Spirit where He leads you and do what He tells you to do. It’s not enough to just be a Christian, it’s living as one that counts! Do what is righteous and holy, support and fight for what is righteous and holy!
God bless my friends! Maranatha!
