We are seeing more and more mass shootings as the days go by, more death, more destruction, more chaos, more confusion, more and more lawlessness!
The increase in lawlessness is on the rise, people are becoming more brazen, more wicked and evil, and more emboldened. Their hearts are turning cold as they turn from the truth into unrighteousness.
We see many people doing things everyday now that we would have thought to be unthinkable just a few short years ago, this also includes many government officials. It’s not only ordinary citizens performing evil deeds but those in power also, as they seek to impose strict laws and draconian measures against the people that they were put in place to serve and protect, supporting and passing unthinkable laws, laws that go directly against God and His word!
Whatever happened to: “that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth” as spoken by Abraham Lincoln in his Gettysburg Address?
Does anyone remember that statement he made many years ago? Not many I presume, and if they do then they don’t believe it or just don’t want to!
Abraham Lincoln also said in his Address: “The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here”. And he was so right my friends, so right!
Abraham Lincoln as said in that Address: “that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom”.
That says a mouthful, “this nation under God”. Is this nation still under God? Or has it pushed God out and away? I believe the latter to be the truth for the most part, at least in government nowadays, and a very large portion of society as well.
America did have a new birth of freedom after the Civil War, but those days are quickly slipping away, as our leaders are leading us into destruction! Our rights, our liberties and our freedoms are slipping away from us, or should I say being stripped away from us?
This my friends is right out of the book of Romans (1), when God gives us what we ask for, He turns us over to a debased mind!
Romans 1:28-32
“And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.”
When people continue to push God away, when they directly oppose God and His values, morals, and principles, then God will give them what they want! Remember the saying: “Be careful what you wish for, you just may get it”? Well guess what? We’re getting it now!!! Perhaps this is God’s judgment against America? I think so my friends, I think so!
I’ve already heard of many people that voted Joe Biden in as President wish that they hadn’t voted for him in the first place. But guess what, it’s too late, you got what you wished for, and now it’s coming to fruition!
This is a sign my friends, a sign of the end times, when the hearts of men grow cold, when they are evil, wicked, hateful, boastful, unloving, untrustworthy, unforgiving, and haters of God. Sounds like perilous times to me!
2 Timothy 3:1-5
“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!”
Jesus even gave us warning signs of what the world would be like just before His return, that lawlessness would abound and men’s hearts would grow cold.
Matthew 24:12
“And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.”
Just as in the days of Noah so also shall the coming of the Son of Man be, and say it isn’t so!
It may be too late for America and the rest of the world, I believe that it is, I believe that the line of no return has been crossed, that the world has gone too far off of the deep end. However, with that being said, I also believe that however far a person has gone it’s never too late for them, that he or she can always be saved, unless they refuse to or blaspheme the Holy Spirit.
The world will get worse my friends, it is written in scripture, I’m not making it up! The times are dark and growing darker by the day, by the minute. The only true hope that we have in this world is Jesus Christ! Do not forsake the calling of God, do not push Him away, but rather listen to His voice, heed His call, and accept His Son Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior! Today is the day of salvation, you may not have another!
Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior now! Do not delay, this may be your last chance!!!
