The world as we now know it, unusual, strange, wicked, and evil. Should we be alarmed, should we be shocked at what we see? Is the world getting better, or are we doomed to utter failure and disaster?
Many of the people in the world today don’t actually see things as being that bad. In fact, they see things as getting better. Much of what I see as sin and evil in the world, they see as normal and acceptable. They see the world moving forward into a “utopia”, a peace on earth where we all come together and unite as one people, under one authority, and under one religious system.
It’s sort of funny (in a strange way) how Satan uses the things of God, how he takes them and then twists them for his own use.
For instance, God is composed of a Trinity, God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Satan has his own counterfeit of this Trinity, Satan the false god, the anti-Christ, and the false prophet.
Satan also has a plan for “false” peace on earth. His plan is for world peace, a united world, all under the authority of a World Leader, a One World Government, and a One World Religion. Just where did he come up with this plan? He took it from God Almighty.
God’s plan from the beginning was for peace on earth, for Jesus Christ to be the ruler and the number one authority, for Christ to be the governing leader, and for all to worship the one and only true God of the universe. This was God’s plan, and it still is, it shall come to pass!
Satan takes what is God’s and uses it for his own deceptive and wicked purposes. He takes it and twists it to make it look like the real thing, the real deal. However my friends, it is anything but the real thing!
“Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not:”
The world is blind to the truth, to what is spiritual and holy. They cannot see what the true meaning is behind Satan’s grand scheme. Why is that? Why is the world so duped into believing in, what seems to me, a deceptive ploy?
“Having eyes, do you not see? And having ears, do you not hear? And do you not remember?”
In order to see what the real truth is, one must have “spiritual eyes”. Meaning, we must first be born of the Spirit of God in order to see the truth. In essence, we are born-again with spiritual eyes. It’s only when we have these eyes that we can see into the darkness and through the deception.
“And immediately something like scales fell from his eyes, and he regained his sight. Then he rose and was baptized;”
“The hearing ear and the seeing eye, The Lord has made them both.”
I can remember back when I was a child, reading through numerous comic books. On the inside cover of each book were advertisements for different toys and gimmicks. One of these reminds me of having “spiritual eyes”, x-ray glasses! They looked like a pair of black sunglasses, with spiraling circles pasted on the lenses. They boasted that you could actually see right into a person’s body at their skeleton. Spiritual eyes are like having x-ray glasses, you can see through, you can view into the inside at what’s really happening.
“Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law.”
We need spiritual eyes to see the truth of God’s word, to see the deception of Satan, and to discern the times and the spirits. These eyes become stronger and more adept with exercise. We need to use them and practice with them in order to become more experienced and confident in spiritual matters.
Of course, without God we cannot use them. They are a gift from God, and work through the power of the Holy Spirit. The closer we get in our relationship with God, the stronger our spiritual eyes become.
“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.“
When we get closer in our relationship with God, then we can see more clearly, we can see the things of God, spiritual things. If we are pure in heart then we shall see God!
“Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.”
The world is full of evil, wickedness, and disaster, they cannot see the truth nor can they see God. They cannot see into what is spiritual, righteous, holy and pure. They see things in a twisted version of what is real, clouded by deception, covered in lies, and sweetened by Satan and his minions.
Draw close to God, see the truth, see the things of heaven above, see God!
God bless my friends! Maranatha!
