Commentary By: Gordon King
Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world, died on a cross for all of our sins and arose from the dead so that we might have life! He is the firstfruits of those that have fallen asleep, the resurrection of the dead, by which all who are in Christ will be made alive!
1 Corinthians 15:20-25
“But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21 For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. 23 But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. 24 Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. 25 For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. 26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.”
Jesus died so that we may have life, He died for our sins and rose from the dead so that we may have eternal life!
“Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”
“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
‘Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” ‘
God bless my friends! Maranatha!
