Warning of Deception, of False Prophets and False Teachers! Beware! Take Heed!!!

Commentary By:  Gordon King

I have written extensively on deception, on being led astray, on the world twisting and turning what is good into bad and bad into good.  I have even written on those in the church itself that are wolves in sheep’s clothing, those that appear as angels of light but are actually anything but!  And then there are those in the church who deceive others by false teachings, and there are many more who deceive through apostasy!

Matthew 7:15

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

As time goes on these things will get worse, they will intensify, they will increase day by day!  I’m no bible scholar, I’m not a prophet, but I can read the bible and I understand what it is telling us.  In the last days there will be false teachers and false prophets, do not be deceived!  This isn’t new extra-biblical information my friends, Jesus Christ told us this Himself!

Matthew 24:11

Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.

The last days will be filled with false prophets and false teachers.

2 Peter 2

But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.

The good Lord Jesus is warning us my friends!  He is warning us that these things will happen, and not only will they happen but in the last days they will be rampant!

Matthew 24:24-25

For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you beforehand.

The Lord has told us beforehand for a reason my friends!  He told us and warned us so that we may not be deceived, because He knew that in the end times false prophets and teachers would be everywhere!

And many who believe that they are saved, who believe that they are children of God are deceived, for they have never truly repented of their sins and accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior!  While they may appear righteous and holy on the outside on the inside they are wicked and evil, deceiving and being deceived!

Matthew 7:21-23

Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ “

False prophets and false teachers are rampant these days and it is of the utmost importance that we are able to discern them from those that are truly of God Almighty!  For they transform themselves into ministers of Christ and angels of light, yet are anything but!

2 Corinthians 11:13-15

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

I am writing this as a warning to believers, to my brothers and sisters in Christ who may just be deceived.  Let us all be very careful as to who we listen to, who we get our information from, who we follow as far as biblical teachings!  Satan and his minions are very, very clever and know just how to deceive, and they can even cause believers to be led astray and to preach false teachings.

God already gave us what we need to know and understand in His word!  What we need to do is to read it, study it, meditate upon it, and allow the Holy Spirit to work it in our lives.  We don’t need extra-biblical teachings to tell us what is coming our way, to understand God or His ways, we already have it my friends!

2 Timothy 3:16-17

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

All scripture is given by God, so that we may be “complete” and “thoroughly equipped” for every good work!  It’s all we need my friends, my brothers and sisters in Christ, it’s the word of God!  We don’t need anyone telling us anymore or any less!  And we certainly don’t need anyone changing, twisting, removing, or adding to it!

Let’s not add to or take away from the bible, it’s God’s holy word!  Let us not alter it or change it, for it is written that if anyone adds to it God will add to him the plagues written in the book, and if he takes away God shall take away his part from the Book of Life!  That’s how serious this is!

Revelation 22:18-19

For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

I’m not preaching anything new here, nor am I preaching anything here that is not written in scripture, it’s all God’s word!  All I am doing is preaching it!!!  If anyone has a problem with it then please take it up with God.

You may not agree with everything that I say or write and that’s okay.  And I may not agree with everything you say or write and that’s okay too!  I will listen to what everyone has to tell me whether it be right or wrong, and if I find that I am wrong then I will correct the error of my ways and thinking.  However, if I find that I am right in what I am saying about God’s word then I have no problem to reprove, rebuke, and exhort!

2 Timothy 4:1-5

I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

The good Lord through the apostle Paul tells us to preach the word!  To convince, rebuke, and exhort with all longsuffering (patience) and teaching.  We are to be watchful in all things, to endure afflictions, and do the work of an evangelist, to fulfill our ministry!

This is my ministry, this is my work as an evangelist, the good Lord led me to do these things and I have been faithful in doing them ever since being called to do them close to 8 years now.  I may have not always done such a good job at it, but nevertheless I have been faithful in doing it, sometimes much better than other times, but the Lord is not yet done performing His work in me.

We are living in the last days, the end times, and Jesus Christ warned us that in the last days there will be many false teachers and false prophets.  These are warnings my friends, warnings to His elect to not be deceived!  These are also signs that we are in fact living in the last days!

God bless my friends!  Maranatha!

  1. Like them lacing Halal food with Nanites which can be triggered to control people in whatever ways while even having western farmers promote it and sell it to their own people too like it’s some food from the gods.

I saw the movie and things did not turn out well.

  2. Excellent post. I like what you said here: ” I will listen to what everyone has to tell me whether it be right or wrong, and if I find that I am wrong then I will correct the error of my ways and thinking. ”

It’s surprising to me how many Christians are unwilling to change their theological position when given ample evidence to the contrary.

Glad to see you have a conservative Bible minded view while also having humility and eagerness to conform to Gods word no matter the cost. Very rare these days. Blessings to you.

  3. Thanks for your comment Chaddamitz!

I appreciate you kind words my friend!

I am here for God’s will not my own. I most certainly want to do what is righteous and holy in God’s eyes. I try my best to listen to the Holy Spirit within when I am writing my posts, but I am human and I may not always have things right according to scripture.

I do understand what you are saying about many Christians who are unwilling to change if they are incorrect, that they are unteachable. But scripture tells us to be teachable.

    Proverbs 13:18
“Poverty and disgrace come to him who ignores instruction, but whoever heeds reproof is honored.”

    Proverbs 29:1
“He who is often reproved, yet stiffens his neck, will suddenly be broken beyond healing.”

If we do not allow ourselves to learn then we cannot grow in God’s word and in truth. I know that as we continue to read and study scripture then we shall gain new insights and understandings, I also know that there are many wiser people out there than myself. None of us know it all, but we should all be seeking to learn, know, and understand more about God and who He is, that’s what it’s really all about! Amen.

You know, I don’t really understand people who say that they are Christians yet have a liberal mindset. God and His laws, His ways, and His principles are anything but liberal, they are in fact very conservative, they are absolute! How can we as believers say that we love God if we support abortion, gay marriage, or a one world agenda? No, God is very clear on these matters, it’s all written in the bible! Amen.

    God bless! Maranatha!
