Memorial Day, Let us Not Forget!

Arlington National Cemetery

Commentary By:  Gordon King

Today is Memorial Day in America, a day set apart to remember the sacrifices of American service men and women, to honor them for sacrificing their own lives for ours.

John 15:13

Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.

The gift of life, the sacrifice of one’s life to save another, this is love, and no one has greater love than this!

While we are out enjoying the day let us not forget those who sacrificed their own lives for us so that we may enjoy today!  Let us reflect upon what they did, upon their sacrifice for us, let us give them the respect, thanks, and honor that they deserve.

God bless my friends!  Maranatha!

  1. Thanks for your service Brother Gordon. My great uncle fought against German during WW2. My grandfather fought against Japan during WW2. My father, step-father, and my brother served in the US Military.

    God bless America.
