December 7th, 1941, the Japanese Naval and Air forces perform a surprise attack on Pearl Harbor Hawaii, destroying U.S. Navy ships and aircraft, killing over 2,400 Americans, wounding approximately 1,200, with 960 declared missing. Most people are probably not aware that the Japanese also attacked U.S. bases in the Philippines, Guam, and Wake Island that day.
This is a day that we should all remember, not only because of the attack upon us, but also for the loss of life upon these American citizens.
Let us take a moment to reflect upon what happened 77 years ago this day. Let us give honor to the men and women who lost their lives on this day, to those who were wounded, to those who were lost. And let us not forget what happened that day.
I pray for the good Lord to give us strength, wisdom, and courage in the face of adversity. That He protects us from harm, that He keeps us under the shelter of His mighty wings. And I pray for the healing of America, I pray for strongholds to be broken, for evil spirits to be bound, and for all people to come to the saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Amen.
God bless my friends! Maranatha!
