Many churches and pastors often leave out the most important message of the Christian faith in their messages. They teach about how to live a good life, that we should do good works, that we should be moral and righteous, not that these aren’t good things of course they are. But without the message of the cross they are meaningless!
We are not righteous by our morality, we are not righteous by our good works, we are only righteous by the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross! Without Christ our good works are as filthy rags to the Lord. Without Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior we have no morality, we cannot be found righteous. It is only by repenting of our sins and accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior that we have any righteousness in us, it is His righteousness not ours, He clothes us in His righteousness!
It’s not enough to know that Jesus Christ is God, nor is it enough to know that He is the only way to heaven, for even the demons believe.
James 2:19
“You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble!“
The demons believe that Jesus Christ is God yet it does not save them.
A person must repent of their sins and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, that’s it, no other way, by no other means!
Mark 1:14-15
‘Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.” ‘
Acts 2:38
“Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.“
Acts 3:19
“Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,“
Matthew 4:17
‘From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” ‘
It’s also not merely enough just to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you must first acknowledge that you have sinned and then repent of your sins, you must have a change of heart regarding your sins, you must turn from them, then you can accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is God, that He died on the cross to pay your sin debt, that He was buried and resurrected after three days, that He ascended into heaven to sit at the right hand of His Father in heaven. Do this and you shall be saved, you will be born-again, you will inherit eternal life! This is the gospel message of Jesus Christ, the message of the cross!
There are many lies circulating in the world today, and sadly even in many churches. There are false beliefs that there is more than one way to heaven, that Jesus Christ is not the only way. This is apostasy and heresy! Jesus Christ Himself tells us that He is the only way to heaven.
John 14:6
‘Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” ‘
If we believe that there is more than one way to heaven but we choose Jesus Christ as our way, do we still get saved, are we born-again? I don’t know. If we believe that all gods in this world are the same do we still get to heaven by accepting Jesus Christ? I don’t know that either. Perhaps these are sins that must be acknowledged first and repented of before we are saved, I don’t know the answer to that. If we did believe these things then we would believe a truth but only a partial truth, truth mixed with lies. Many say that Muslims, Jews, Hindus, etc will all get to heaven because they believe in a god. Yet none of them believe in Jesus Christ as God. The Muslims believe in Allah as their god and they don’t believe that Jesus is God, the Jews do not believe that Jesus Christ is their Messiah, Hindus have hundreds of millions of gods yet not one is Jesus Christ! None of these religions have Jesus Christ as their God, only Christianity does. It is the only religion that believes that Jesus Christ is God, that God is composed of a Trinity and Jesus Christ is one in a Trinity of three.
I do know one thing for sure, I wouldn’t want to be the one to say that there is more than one way to heaven, I wouldn’t tell that to anyone. As a believer in Jesus Christ I must know the truth, I must tell the truth, the whole truth.
The main message of the church must be salvation through Jesus Christ alone. Every church service should have the message of the gospel and an invitation to repent of sins and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, every single service!
We all have been tarnished from sin, all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. There is only one way to be cleansed from this sin, only one way to be found worthy to enter the kingdom of heaven, by repenting of your sins and accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior! There is no other way!
Accept Jesus Christ now as your Lord and Savior!

I believe the way of The Cross is where many false religions separate from the true follower of Jesus Christ. This was wonderfully revealed to me in a very clear dream. In the dream it was like I was living on the planet of the Apes, there were the very evil looking gorilla kinds of Ape all dressed with chains and in black leather and fierce looking and on the other hand there were kindly looking apes all dressed in Green and speaking in terms that would appear to be very good and even Christian. I decided I would not walk with the evil looking Ape, after all who would? Unless they were one of them.
So I walked a little way down the road with the Ape who was friendly and dressed all in Green and who spoke very nicely. I was almost tempted to link my arms with them as we walked, anyway at the end of the road we came to a Crossroads and that is where we went in separate directions. It was The Cross that separated us. I believe the Apes were those that were Aping (mimicking/an imitation of Christianity /even new age/social gospel ) the dark Apes signified The obvious evil of the Occult/Satanism. The Green Ape would fool many into believing they were the real deal and walking the right path but The Cross is what separates the truth from what is false.
Matthew 16:23-25 (KJV)
23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
1 Corinthians 1:18-31 (KJV)
18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

That is a very interesting dream, and very telling of our society today. There are those that you can tell are not Christians, but then there are those who say and act like they are Christians, but in reality they have never been saved. And this is true with many false teachers today, they sound good to the ears, but if we know the truth from the bible then we know what is true and what is a lie. We must not allow ourselves to fall into a trap of deception and be led away from God’s word, we must always know the truth. And many people who are not saved are led astray by false teachings, by doctrines of demons. And then there are those who say that there is no God, that we all came from nothing, that there are no absolute rights and wrongs, that it all just depends upon what you believe, that everything is right, that there is no wrong. Both of these last two groups of people are headed for destruction because they did not know the truth, they were blind to it, for the wisdom of God is foolishness to them, but they themselves are led into outer darkness.
