Infiltration by Evil Spirits!

Commentary By:  Gordon King

The world is infiltrated with evil, encompassed with sin, turning right into wrong and wrong into right!  And as the world grows increasingly evil it seeks to undermine the workings of God, not by external means but by infiltration!

Isaiah 5:20

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

Some examples of this are Communism, Socialism, and Islam, they all seek to destroy America, not by external forces but through infiltration.  By blending into the mix and changing the mind-set of individuals.  This is one way America has fallen to where she is today, by the brainwashing of millions of people, by changing their minds into believing that evil is good and that good is evil!

Satan uses everything in his power to overcome the light in rebellion against God Almighty.  He is very sneaky and clever and he has many sinister schemes.  He comes dressed as an angel of light deceiving many.  Beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing, do not believe everything that you hear, nor everything that you see with your eyes!  Do not be seduced by deceiving spirits nor false doctrines which are the doctrines of demons.

Sadly, these evil spirits are not only in the world but also in the church!  They come in order to change, to change the minds and hearts of believers, to change what they know to be the truth.  They will tell us that we are wrong in our beliefs, that we have misinterpreted scripture.  They will twist God’s word with their own interpretation, with crafty words, with reasoning which sounds very good yet is evil!

It’s happening now folks, it’s not something in the future but now!  Many in the church are turning, they are committing apostasy, abandoning the truth for lies, believing doctrines of demons rather than the truth of God’s word!

I don’t know about you, but I can see it very clearly, and I don’t like it one bit!  It grieves my heart and my soul to see believers in Jesus Christ being deceived, to see them take the bait and swallow it whole!

So this is where we are today, the church is being divided, it is the work of the evil one, Satan and his seducing spirits.  Theirs is to steal, kill, and destroy, to cause division, doubt, and uncertainty, and this is what is now happening in the church.

We are being told that the sins of the world are not really sins, they are being justified as righteous and holy, even though they go against what God has written to us, even though they are an abomination to the Lord.

None of us are perfect, we all at times sin, but this does not mean that we accept sin as a lifestyle, that we make sin a good thing, woe to those who do!  We must see sin for what it really is and not attempt to make it right.

We must love those who are sinners, we must approach them with a meek and mild heart, with love and kindness.  We must show them the love of God that is within us just as God first loved us, even as sinners!  I have heard Christians tell me that God does not love everyone, that He only loves those who are His.  But the bible says different.

Romans 5:8

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

John 3:16

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

God loves the world!  That does not mean the world system, but those living in the world.

1 John 4:19

“We love Him because He first loved us.”

God loved us while we were yet sinners, He loved us first before we loved Him.  We should also love sinners just as God loves us, not the sin that they commit but the person.  This is how we share the love of God, this is how we show the world that God loves them, that even though they are living in sin God still loves them!  We were all at one time sinners all of us, not one of us better than the other, yet God gave Himself for us so that we may have eternal life!

It’s not easy living with people who live a sinful lifestyle, it’s not easy trying to tell them that what they are doing is wrong, it’s not easy trying to do it out of love without sounding harsh and criticizing, it’s just not easy!  We must tell the truth while at the same time doing so with a kind heart, not out of condemnation or hatred, but out of love, the same love that God shows us.  It takes patience and a humble spirit, it takes prayer and thought, it takes the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the supernatural power of God Almighty!

The world is changing quickly, it is becoming darker by the minute.  Apostasy is on the rise, deception is at an all time high, and evil spirits are consuming the world.  It is vitally important that each and every believer in Jesus Christ know these things, that we are all aware of what is happening around us, of who is around us, and of what they are saying to us.  It is equally and even more important that we know God’s word and write it upon our hearts, that we have an accurate understanding of the truth, that we do not interpret scripture from our own understanding but from the Holy Spirit!

Jesus warned us that there would be great deceptions in the end times, that there would be false teachers and false prophets, He spoke a lot about deception, and now we are seeing it first hand!

Matthew 24:4-5

And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.

Matthew 24:11

Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.

He didn’t just say that there will be false Christs and false prophets, but to take heed that “no one” deceives you!

Just how much longer will it be before most churches do not resemble an actual church of God?!  When most of these churches are accepting of all things as right and good, when things which are abominations to God are acceptable to the church?  When the churches doctrinal statements encompass everything as holy, when it says that all people will eventually get to heaven?

What is coming upon the world is something that we have never before experienced in our lifetime.  It is dark and evil, it is a consuming power which will seek to destroy us and our families.  And even though we have the power of God within us, we can still be deceived if we allow ourselves to, we can succumb to the wiles of the devil, we can follow the teachings and doctrines of demons if we choose to.  However, we are not destined for wrath but for salvation through Jesus Christ, we have not been made new creations in Christ in order to live a sinful lifestyle, nor to follow false teachings but to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, to live for Christ and to follow Christ!

Love everyone even sinners, love the people who God created, however, do not be led astray by false teachings, by the world telling you that you are wrong in your beliefs of the truth, by the world trying to tell you that the sin in the world is acceptable to God.  Stand firm in your faith of God, stand firm in His word and His promises.

God bless my friends!  Maranatha!

  1. Thank you Gordon a thought provoking post, we do have to walk a tight rope when dealing with sinners unsaved or sometimes saved brethren that are stuck in besetting sin, it is so easy to slip over into legalism and judgemental harshness or the other side Grace but we must guard against inadvertently condoning or compromising, tolerating out of fear of offending becoming men pleasers instead of God pleasers. We are called to speak the truth in love but to the hearer it will not always sound like love, especially under the anointing of The Holy Spirit they will feel the sword cutting to the bone and marrow and will feel abandoned as we remove our-self from fellowship if necessary, it can cause suffering to them and to us. We have to trust In God for the outcome, God looks on the heart and He trusts us with those that He has placed in our field of labour and often He has dealt with us first in something along similar lines so all stones of judgement are removed from our hearts to protect us too before we are let loose to speak correction to others. Well that is my finding anyway and all is only possible if we are walking according to The Spirit and not the Flesh.

  2. i give thanks!,….beautiful post! Shalom Gordon, this really helps at such times like these!

  3. Thanks for your comment Christine!

I agree with you sister. We must not accept sin as just a normal part of society, nor should we compromise our beliefs in order to be accepted by the world. However I do believe that we must confront the world with the love of God, out of kindness, not out of anger, frustration, and hatred, and I have seen a lot of that coming from the church. Yet I also see other parts of the church doing just the opposite, compromising their faith, accepting sin into the church, changing doctrine in order to be accepted by the world.

We must speak the truth out of love, like you said walking in the spirit, we don’t always get the results that we seek, the apostles didn’t always so why should we? Jesus didn’t either, and we are most definitely not any better than He is.

It’s very difficult at times living in the world, living around people who make sin their lifestyle. At times I wish that the good Lord would just take me home! At times it’s very difficult to live in this world and be obedient to the Lord, but I know that with God all things are possible! And when large portions of the church are condoning this sin, then it makes me want to cry, especially when I know that so many brothers and sisters are being violently persecuted for their faith in God!

    God bless sister! Maranatha!

  4. Thank you Tonytarr11!

God is good and He gives us what we need when we need it the most. I see things really heating up in the world, I feel it intensifying, and I believe that we will see some very significant events taking place very soon! Remain strong in the faith brother, Jesus is coming soon!

    God bless! Maranatha!

  5. I am very fortunate to be in a church that preaches straight doctrine and Holy Spirit inspired reading of the scriptures. I really do not know about the evil that is coming into churches of my faith, although I certainly see it in the world. There are always those different churches that have warped the scripture so much and created quite bizarre and man made faiths. For the few churches, besides my own, that I sometimes visit with friends, family, or special music, I am not seeing the evil. I am only around strong fundamental Christians, though. What specifically is happening in those churches that are allowing in sin, false prophets, and evil ? What is being said and done that is changing what Christ ordained ? This scares me. I am foundational, a student of the Bible, and am, evidently very fortunate to not be around what is happening in other churches that are falling into evil. I do hear the news, however, and certainly believe that we are in a horrible time with prophesies being fulfilled.

  6. Thank you Gordon for another well written blog yes its hard at times to show love to the lost when your words seem to fall on deaf ears and you get called a Jesus freak …well yes i am a Jesus freak and not afraid to say or show it …but yes we must show the love of Christ to the lost as you you said we were all once lost sinners…we live on an island and i would say there would only be about 30 born again Christians here at least 1300 lost people on the island i see the way they live ungodly lives and would love to shake them to wake them up.. but I know to show the love of Christ to all these people…it hurts my heart to see so many lost in one area so we pray pray pray but thank the Lord we have been able to witness to some the Lord does the rest that’s His job Praise His Holy Name ….God Bless Gordon Maranatha Speed the day

  7. Thanks for your comment Jeanie!

This apostasy of the church is evil, yet it manifests itself in many ways, some of which are very subtle. First, there are churches which do not teach the whole truth of God’s word, they ignore parts of the bible and many do not teach bible prophecy nor relate what is happening in the world with bible prophecy. Other churches twist God’s word or interpret it wrong. There are churches out there that accept sinful lifestyles such as homosexuality, they even perform gay marriages in their church! Many of these pastors have publicly apologized to the LGTBQ community, admitting that they were wrong in condemning this lifestyle.

You can hear about it and even hear audio clips of these pastors doing it if you listen to this podcast by Jan Markell: (“The Church: The Final Frontier”; start at 21 minutes 20 seconds)

There are churches which preach that Jesus Christ is not the only way to heaven, here are a couple of examples that I just now found on an internet search:
Megachurch Pastor Says Believing Jesus Is The Only Way To Heaven Is ‘Insanity’
Christianity Is Not the Only Way to Heaven, Prominent Presbyterian Pastor Says

God ordained marriage between one man and one woman, this is holy to Him, the sanctity of marriage. God says that homosexuality is an abomination to Him (Leviticus 18:22). Jesus Christ said that He is the only way to the Father, that a person must be born again to enter the kingdom of God, that a person must believes in Jesus Christ will have eternal life (John 3), there is no other way!

Evil spirits have manifested themselves within the church of God Almighty, many in the church have gone astray, many have accepted false doctrines. If you are in a church which teaches nothing but the whole truth of God’s word then you are blessed. These spirits are infiltrating the church, believe it or not, they are changing it from the inside out.

This is bible prophecy being fulfilled my friend, the apostle Paul speaks about it:
1 Timothy 4 “Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,”

We should not fear what is coming upon this world, for we are not of the world but of God. God is with us and for us, He will never leave us or forsake us! But we must be aware of what is happening in the world and in the church.

    God bless! Maranatha!
