Costliest U.S. Disasters Happened in 2017! Are these signs of the times, perhaps even Judgment?

The United States of America had the costliest and most damaging year from natural disasters in 2017 then ever before in its history.  Natural disasters continue to plague our nation, from out of control wildfires to hurricanes, from tornadoes to severe flooding.

Regardless of what may be causing these events to happen, they are happening, just as we were foretold that they would in scripture, just before the return of Jesus Christ to earth at His second coming, and say it isn’t so!

These are signs my friends, signs of the end of the age, signs of the end of the last days, and yet they also may just be the beginning of God’s judgment on America for turning her back to Him in rebellion.  As a nation we have taken God out of most areas of our society, we have rebelled against Him in our morals and values, we have disregarded what is righteous and holy and replaced it with what is evil and wicked!

Just as the Lord has punished the nation of Israel for turning her back on Him, He will do the same with us, a nation founded upon God, upon His morals, values and principles, upon the Lord and His written word.  The good Lord has blessed America for hundreds of years, yet over the past several decades our nation has rebelled against God in many ways and continues to do so even to this very day.

And even though we now have godly leaders in the White House, it may just be too late!  Our nation is divided, it is split between those who desire to live a godly life and those who wish to rebel against God.  We even find division in the church, and many churches have pastors who refuse to teach what is righteous and holy, who refuse to teach about bible prophecy, and even those who teach that Jesus Christ is not the only way to heaven!  They teach what itching ears want to hear, not about eternal damnation for the lost, not about Jesus Christ being our only hope for salvation and eternal life, but about what makes their congregants feel good about themselves!  They fail to prepare their flock for what is coming upon the world, they are luke-warm.

How many churches in America do you know of that teach about bible prophecy, how many relate what is happening in the world today with bible prophecy?  How many teach from the book of Revelation?  Or for that matter Isaiah, Daniel, or Ezekiel?  How many teach about what these old testament prophets told us would happen in the last of the end times and relate it to what is now happening in the world around us?

The bible tells us that in the last days people will have itching ears, having teachers who teach them what they want to hear, fables instead of the truth, not enduring sound doctrine but according to their own desires.

2 Timothy 3:4

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; ⁴ and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.“

And this is what we see in so many churches in America today, not only unsound doctrine but fables and untruths!

And just perhaps it is God’s judgment to America that will take away her power as a super power, as a nation unable to come to the defense of Israel in the end times.  And it just may be that the rapture of the church occurs during this time, weakening America even further and bringing her to her knees!  If the church were to be taken out of America, then America would fall quickly, evil would quickly consume the nation, chaos and civil unrest would take hold, and society would take a fall much quicker than it already has, exponentially quicker!  I imagine what America and the world will look like after the rapture of the church, evil and wickedness continually, as in the days of Noah.

The Tribulation period will be a time like no other, not only during the middle period, but the whole thing!  All seven years will be very, very bad, even the first three and a half.  The horsemen of the Apocalypse (part of the seal judgments), the riders of the four horses shall perform some very bad things upon the earth which sound to me like they occur before the middle of the Tribulation period, there are also the trumpets and the bowls, all judgments from God. I do believe that these judgments will begin before the middle of the Tribulation period, but will they all happen before it?  I don’t know.  And even without the judgments from God, the Antichrist will be in control, a man possessed by Satan, just how good could that be, especially for believers in Jesus Christ?!  The world will see Christians as being evil and wicked, just as many do now but much, much at that time, what will he do to Christians, torture, imprisonment, be-headings?

Our time is short, and if we are raptured out of here before the beginning of the Tribulation period then our time is that much shorter!
