Commentary By: Gordon King
Faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, it’s Superman! A comic book hero that most of us have heard about, Superman, mightier than anyone on earth, yet nothing in comparison to God Almighty!
God, is He greater than the sum of His creation, is He bigger than all of His creation? Yes, He is! God is Omnipotent, meaning that He has unlimited power and is able to do anything, Omniscient, meaning that He is knows everything, and Omnipresent, meaning that He is present everywhere at the same time.
Our Lord, our God, our Creator, powerful to do all things, everywhere at all times, knowing all things. He is greater than the sum of His creation, He always was and always will be. He is more powerful than anything, much bigger than anything.
We only know about what we know about, that seems to make obvious sense. Yet there are many things about God that we don’t know about, many things which He created that we don’t know about, such as what lies outside of our universe? As far as we know that’s all that exists. But is it?
God didn’t tell us everything about what He created, we have enough to think about with what He has given us and what He allows us to know. But I often wonder just what lies outside of the universe, just what else has He created both outside and even inside of this universe that we don’t know about?
God created this universe, He holds it in the palm of His hand. Has He also created other universes? Perhaps other species of life? Maybe, and we won’t know until we get to heaven. Perhaps and most likely He has created things which we haven’t even heard of or thought about, things which would absolutely boggle our mind.
I relish the thought of getting to heaven and being able to explore all that God has created. I hope and pray that the good Lord allows us to venture out into the universe and beyond, that He is well pleased for us to get to know what He has created. How awesome would it be to not only explore our own solar system, but the entire galaxy, even the universe?! And how much more awesome would it be to have the opportunity to explore outside of this universe?!
This life now here on earth is finite, it is very simple compared to all that the Lord has created. We have so much more to look forward to once we get to heaven, and that gives me great hope, joy, and excitement! Being able to actually see just how great our God is! And we will have all of eternity to be with God and to explore His creations.
I don’t know what God has in store for us, and I am not sure what it is that He will have us doing. But I do know that it will be like nothing we have ever experienced here on earth! I know that it will be much grander, more beautiful and exquisite, more real than we could ever imagine.
As lost souls here on earth we don’t have much to look forward to, in fact just the opposite. But as born-again believers in Jesus Christ we have everything to look forward to! Our time here on earth is a short one, it won’t be long before we are united with Christ in eternity, an eternity without end, an eternity to get to know God even more, to discover His depths, to learn more of His ways, more of His creation, more of His glory!
Our salvation is so much more than just being saved from eternal Hell, although that’s enough for me! It’s life at it’s best, it’s a future filled with never-ending discoveries and exploration, a life with God, a life serving our Master and Creator! And just maybe that’s why our universe is so big, it would take eternity to explore it all.
Whatever we face in this life it won’t last forever, and what we have to look forward to is so much more than the sum of our life here on earth!
God bless my friends! Maranatha!
Amen!! Very good message brother, for continue to be a watchmen on the wall for the house of Jerusalem! Sound the trumpets, as the Lords coming is near! May Yahweh continue bless you with the fullness of his Shalom!
mmm! yes I think it will be wonderful beyond our wildest imaginations. I sometimes day dream about my mansion in Heaven although I don’t want anything grand just a pretty little cottage with many flowers and a little stream and birdsong in the garden. God knows exactly what I would like but I know it will be beyond my wildest dreams! I also think how we will communicate without words just thoughts and I think that is why we must be of a pure heart. Just some of my musings Gordon.
God bless I hope you are we..
Christine

Since I have wrote the last comment, I’ve been pondering on the vision of Daniel 9:24-27 as in chapter 10 it clearly states it is for the latter days. Last night I began to look at the numbers within the vision once again, as I received the understanding of 1 day of our time=1 year in biblical times. I shall explain more within the email, and could use a second witness whom has understanding of prophecy.
Shalom brother, we shall speak in soon.
Amen to that! Nicely put and to contemplate on. Thank you Gordon.
I too believe we as yet do not know the vastness of God’s creation, man has touched just the surface and look what we’ve done with the use of 10% of our brain.Yet one day we will have all of eternity to learn from the Creator Himself. Our journey here is limited, as you have said, finite. Still getting to know God and all His wonders does give hope and the excitement not only to know more but be a part of. As our Heavenly Father taught Adam and Eve before the instigator had his paws on Eve and the fall, I believe we will be back to that simpler time of purity and love.
But first we must do our best here to not let the guilt of our sins (for we are only human), over take us but confess them, let it go, allow God to change us, come into our hearts and not repeat the offenses. The grace of God will help us through the rest, trusting Him for everything and anything. Jesus not only came to save us from the evil one, but to teach us the kingdom of God. The message He put forward and gave His disciples is the kingdom of God, and how we can be a part of that kingdom in which He is preparing a place for us. How great is that! Let’s focus on the assurance that He is returning to take us home. As you so nicely said, “Whatever we face in this life it won’t last forever, and what we have to look forward to is so much more than the sum of our life here on earth!” Amen! Maranatha!
Thanks again Gordon for an uplifting post. God bless.

Daniel speaks of seventy weeks, as I understand it the first 69 weeks has already happened to the exact day! Read Chuck Missler, Daniels 70 Weeks, he explains it quite well.
The last week (Daniel 9:27) represents the Tribulation period, at the end of the last days that we are living in now. I believe that it will happen soon, that we are much closer than most realize!
God bless! Maranatha!
You are most welcome SweetJava!
I like what you said: “But first we must do our best here to not let the guilt of our sins (for we are only human), over take us but confess them, let it go, allow God to change us, come into our hearts and not repeat the offenses.”
So often many if not most of us cannot let go of the guilt from our past sins. This isn’t what God wants for us, but the best! It can be very difficult to let go, but we must release them to God. If God can forgive us then we must learn to also forgive ourselves. I struggle with this myself at times.
The good Lord has the best in store for us, and one day soon we will be in the presence of His glory! Amen.
God bless! Maranatha!
