The Word of God is coming to pass! Every last Iota!

00 end time bible prophecy Word of God is alive

Commentary By:  Gordon King

The good Lord is moving across the face of the world, He is not in heaven kicking back in an easy chair, but actively moving the world in the direction of His will.  Bible prophecies are being fulfilled right before our very eyes and there is no stopping the will of God Almighty!

We may choose to ignore God’s word, we can choose to do things our own way, but nothing will stop God from performing His will, from bible prophecy being fulfilled to the very last iota!

There is in fact nothing that we could possibly do or not do that could change God’s will, it is an immovable rock, a solid foundation, unable to be lifted, unable to be altered.  We can on the other hand change the way we view things in the world, we can alter our own faith, we can undermine the workings of God’s will for us in our own lives.  It’s not that we can alter the will of God, but we all have a “free will” of our own, and we can hinder God’s will for us if we choose to do so.  We can grieve the Holy Spirit, and we can interfere with God’s plan in our lives, we can please God or we can displease God, we all have choices to make.

It’s not easy being a Christian in this world, for we do not belong to this world but are from another!  We find ourselves in the middle of a battle, a struggle in which the forces of darkness seek to undermine God’s will for us in our lives.  They seek to undermine us and they seek to undermine the workings of God, our destiny and His plan.

We are here for a purpose, and that purpose is God’s purpose.  It is our reason for being, if not then we would have been taken out of here the very moment we were saved.  We are here to share the message of the gospel, to share God’s love with a hurting world.  But, we are also here to encourage one another, to lift each other up, to carry each other’s burdens.  We are the light of the world, and through this light we are to show God’s love, both for the lost and for the saved!

It can be so very easy to become distracted from these truths, to overlook what is righteous and holy, to not see our purpose, to not see God’s will.  We can get so very busy with daily tasks that this vision of the truth can become clouded and even skewed.  This is why it is so important to read God’s word, to meditate upon the things of God, and to seek God first in all things!

We often find ourselves dodging fiery darts from the enemy, and at times we get hit!

2 Timothy 3:12

Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

We may suffer some damage, yet He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world, Amen!  He has overcome this world, and as His children we have already overcome as well!

1 Corinthians 15:57

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

God gave us His word in Spirit and in Truth!  He told us what would happen in the future, and if He did not want us to know about it then He wouldn’t have.  As believers and followers of Jesus Christ we must trust in God, in His word, and in His prophecies.  We must believe in His prophecies but also in His promises to us, and if we don’t then just what do we believe?  We cannot pick and choose what verses of scriptures to believe, we must either believe all of them or none!

2 Timothy 3:16-17

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

If we pick and choose what to believe from scripture, then do we really believe that what God tells us is the truth is in fact the truth?  And if we choose what to believe, then do we really believe that God has the power to do what He says that He will do?

The apostle Paul in his letter to Timothy tells us what people will be like in the end times, the last days.

2 Timothy 3:5

having a form of godliness but denying its power...”

Do we have a form of godliness yet deny its power?  Do we say that we believe yet do not believe that God will do as He says that He will?  Or do we trust all that God says, all that He says that He will do?  Do we trust in all of His promises?

Jesus Christ is coming again, He is coming soon in the clouds to meet His saints in the air, but He is also coming to earth, setting foot on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem as the King of kings and the Lord of lords!

Zechariah 14:1-4

Behold, the day of the Lord is coming,
And your spoil will be divided in your midst.
For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem;
The city shall be taken,
The houses rifled,
And the women ravished.
Half of the city shall go into captivity,
But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

Then the Lord will go forth
And fight against those nations,
As He fights in the day of battle.
And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,
Which faces Jerusalem on the east.
And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two,
From east to west,
Making a very large valley;
Half of the mountain shall move toward the north
And half of it toward the south.

Revelation 19:11-16

“Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse.  And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:

KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.”

The prophecies written in the word of God shall all come to pass, every last iota!

God bless my friends!  Maranatha!
