Commentary By: Gordon King
This is a heavy topic, one which many wish to ignore, yet one which is reshaping the very fabric of our society.
Is terrorism now the “new norm”? Are we as a society being desensitized to civilians being targeted for execution by Islamic radicals? Or has political correctness gone so far that terrorism is somehow disguised as a way of life? Is it being accepted by the world as just part of a religion, as part of the way of life for many Muslims and so we tolerate it?
The terrorist attacks that we see happening in the Middle East and in Europe don’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon, and in fact I would argue that they are intensifying. With that being said, what in the world is to stop these terrorists from committing these same crimes in America with the same passion that they do elsewhere?!
And if we act like this won’t happen here in America then you better think again! I honestly do not understand people who think that President Trumps ban on Muslims from specific countries is a bad thing, in fact I think that it is a good thing! Isn’t it the job of our President to protect the lives of Americans first and foremost?
Many people believe that all people in the world seem to have the same rights that are given to American citizens, that everyone has the rights of the Constitution of the United States. Hello people, the Constitution of the United States only applies to American citizens, not to foreigners seeking to come into this country!
The Quran says that Muslims are to do whatever they have to do in order to promote Islam and Sharia law, that includes lying, cheating, stealing, killing, whatever it takes! Does anyone really believe that Islamic terrorists are truthful and honest?
This is where we stand divided in this country, even between many Christians. We should help those in need, help those being persecuted and being driven from their homeland, but at what costs? Is it at the cost of our own peril? Do we sacrifice our own lives to save the lives of people who want to kill us and control us? Have we become a suicidal society seeking our own destruction? And at what point has this nation become a country where everyone is welcome no matter who they are or what their intentions are?
Don’t get me wrong people, I am all for helping those in need, absolutely I am! However, there is more than one way to skin a cat, more than one way to solve a problem, don’t be fooled into believing that the only way to solve this crisis is by immigrating millions of people into other societies, when it is not, especially when the very tenants of their religion is not to assimilate but to dominate by force!
We need to do what we can and help these people, but we must be wise in doing so. Why move millions of people from their homeland when they can be helped in their homeland, or at least close to it? Why disrupt the lives of millions of other people who have chosen to live a specific way, who have their own sovereign nations and beliefs? We can see the effects of doing so if we take a look at Europe! Rapes, murders, crime, hatred, Sharia Law!
I am not a politician nor a military expert, however, it really doesn’t take one to see where all of this is heading, nor to figure out ways to help. First off the world needs to wake up and see Islam for what it really is. We all need to see that it is not merely a religion at all, but a set of evil ideologies set out to destroy the world and force people into submission. Until the world can do this it is headed for disaster and the problems will only continue to escalate.
The world says that they tolerate everyone, including all religions, yet the world is becoming more and more antichrist by the day. And who are Islam’s greatest enemies? Christians and Jews!
The face of the map is changing, Christianity in the world is being forced out of many areas of the world, and Islam is moving in throughout the world. We have to wake up to what is happening, to see things as they really are, and to not be deceived. Satan is a great deceiver, and he twists things, hides things, and lies about things in this world. Let us not fall victim to his evil plans and schemes.
Some say that we are winning the war against ISIS, but are we really? What about the millions of Islamic radicals already living in other countries? What about homegrown Islamic radicals? What the about the spreading Islamic ideology throughout the world? If we are winning then I just don’t see it! But hey, what the heck, lets just immigrate millions of Muslims into America, I mean, they say they are good people so we should just believe them all, right?!
If Muslims will do anything to promote Islam and Sharia law then who do we believe? And how do you go about properly vetting Muslims who will do anything to support their cause? Didn’t seem to work on 911 did it?! Didn’t work in San Bernardino or Orlando! But we are so much smarter now, right?! Right. And the point is that if most Muslims would obey what the Quran and the Hadith teach, then they would also be terrorists!
We can welcome everyone into America at our own peril, or we can be wise and protect the lives of American citizens. The way I see it is that it is probably too late. Islamic terrorists are here now, and more are being indoctrinated and trained as I write this post. However, that does not mean that we need to bring more in either. There was a reason God told the Hebrews to cleanse the land before they inhabited it, but they didn’t obey and they paid the price!
Has the world come to the point where everything is accepted, where murder and hatred are now considered a normal way of life? Has the world accepted Islam and it’s radical followers as just another form of society? It seems that it has! And if it has then just how far off are we from being like the days of Noah? The acceptance of everything but Jesus Christ!
I believe that we have already reached the breaking point, that we are headed for disaster, and that we have made a bed which in turn will destroy us! I am not only talking about Islamic terror, but also about society in general. It seems as though society is on a downfall at such great speed that calamity and disaster will soon follow. I feel as though we are riding on a high-speed train in which the bridge two miles down the track has collapsed, yet no one knows about it.
We as believers in Jesus Christ have the power to change things, the power to help, the power to do great things! We must believe that we can, we must have faith. I am in no way saying that the world will get better before the return of Jesus, but we can make a difference in the world. We can lead people to Christ, we can help, and we can encourage, we can be a light in the darkness!
We must pray for the good Lord to stop ISIS and Islam in their tracks. For goodness to overtake the bad. For blinded eyes to see the truth, and for softened hearts to accept what is righteous and true, that salvation is only through Jesus Christ!
God bless my friends! Maranatha!
