Deception, a Great Sign of the Times!

unholy-deception

Commentary By:  Gordon King

I often write about the deception in the world and how the darkness is attempting to overthrow the good.  Why do I do it?  Because deception is a very significant factor and a major sign which signifies that we are in fact living in the end times!  Jesus warned us over and over again that there will be those who seek to deceive, to watch out for deception, to be aware of false prophets and false Christs.  This theme of deception has been reiterated over and over again throughout the new testament.

Take for instance Islam seeking to take over the world through force, by violence, torture, and murder on a grand scale.  There are many saying that Islam is only a religion of peace, that you are gravely mistaken if you believe that they are anything but!  They will tell you that Muslims have not committed any crimes nor do they pose a threat to the world.  How could anyone in their right mind be deceived into believing that Islam is a religion of peace!  With everything that we have seen Muslims do in the name of Allah over the past decade, it would seem irrefutable that what these Muslims say they are going to do to us they will try to do.  Yet, there are very many deceived into believing that all these Muslims want is peace, when in reality they want anything but peace!

I have heard it said that Iran only wants peace, that they have not fired any rockets at anyone, nor have they said that they want to wipe Israel off the face of the map.  All of these things are untrue, they are lies straight from hell!  Of course the leaders of Iran have stated over and over again that they want to wipe Israel off of the face of the map, this can be proven by videos and news articles of them stating these very words.  As far as Iran not firing missiles, well they actually have, as Iran is the leading sponsor of terrorism in the world today!  They finance Hezbollah and Hamas, two terror organizations aimed at the destruction of Israel, both of which have fired rockets into Israel’s civilian populations.  As far as peace is concerned, the idea of peace to them is to destroy and annihilate all Jews and bring the entire world into submission under the control of Sharia Law!  How is that peaceful?!  They are at this very moment in the process of developing nuclear weapons, and for what reason if they want peace?

For anyone not to believe that Iran wants to annihilate Israel is absurd and they are greatly deceived!  Do we not listen to the words of the Iranian leaders?  Are we so bound by political correctness that we fail to see the truth?

Then there are those who are fooled into believing that Israel is an illegitimate state, that it is nothing more than an occupying nation of false Jews who are wicked and evil.  Well my friends I have to tell you that God Almighty has given the land of Israel to the Jews!  He gave them much more than they already have, in fact most of Israel’s surrounding nations are actually occupying Israel!  God made a covenant with the Jews thousands of years ago and He has not broken His promise to them, the Jews may have broken their side of the covenant but God did not!  The Jews remain God’s chosen people and He is not finished with them.  They have done some wicked and evil things by not accepting Christ and by worshiping false gods, however they are still His chosen people and He is not done with them.  In fact the bible tells us that He will save a remnant of them during the Tribulation period.

After the one thousand-year reign of Christ on earth there will be a New Jerusalem coming down from heaven, and written on the twelve gates will be the names of the twelve tribes of Israel!

Revelation 21:12-13

Also she had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: 13 three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west.

Why would God write the names of the twelve tribes of Israel on the New Jerusalem which will last forever, if He was finished with them?!

Then there are those who say that Jerusalem is not the capital of Israel, they even go as far as to say that it never even belonged to the Jews!

2 Chronicles 6:6

Yet I have chosen Jerusalem, that My name may be there, and I have chosen David to be over My people Israel.

God has chosen His name to be in Jerusalem, the city of the Jews!  This is a foreshadowing of things to come, the temporary city of Jerusalem to be replaced with the eternal city of Jerusalem.

History tells us that Israel belongs to the Jews, that the city of Jerusalem also belongs to the Jews.  Historical artifacts also prove this to be the truth!  In fact, as each day passes there is more and more evidence that this is the truth, not only for Jerusalem, but for the bible itself!  The bible is confirmed and substantiated by archeological finds everyday, no matter what governing authority tells us otherwise.

And even though we have substantiated facts which prove the truth, there are many in the world today who will tell us otherwise, they will use clever words in order to deceive us, and human reasoning in an attempt to hide the truth.  Even when we can see things happen with our own eyes, they will tell us that what we are seeing is not the truth, they will twist things and give them a new meaning.  This is the world that we live in today, full of evil deception!

Many will say that Jesus Christ Himself was merely a man, that He never did claim to be God, but in fact He did!

John 4:25-26, 42

25 The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming” (who is called Christ). “When He comes, He will tell us all things.”

26 Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am He.

42 Then they said to the woman, “Now we believe, not because of what you said, for we ourselves have heard Him and we know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world.”

He is Christ, the Savior of the world!  And if Jesus were merely a man then how could He be the Savior of the world?!  For no man could save the world, only God can do that!  And Jesus said “I who speak to you am He”, in fact stating that He is God!

The world is now trying to tell you that Jesus Christ is not God, that the Jews are not God’s chosen people, that Jerusalem and Israel do not belong to the Jews, and that Islam is a religion of peace, all of which are lies, all twisted by demonic spirits, and all from the pit of hell!

When battles in the spiritual dimension increase then the battles in the physical increase also.  When we see increased violence and evil in our world, then we know that spiritual battles are being fought with increased intensity.  As these spiritual battles increase, then we also know that the coming of our Lord and Savior is near, even at the door!  Satan knows that his time is short and he will do everything in his power to try and prevent God’s will from happening.  He will try to destroy God’s people, both Christians and Jews.

We cannot physically see what is happening in another dimension, but we can see it through our spirit, we can know what is happening spiritually by what is taking place in the world around us.  These are signs, signs of the supernatural, and signs of what will soon take place on earth.  Just as the deception in the world increases so do the wicked acts of evil spirits, powers, and principalities.  When we see the world shake and tremble, when we see evil and violence increasing, when we see the increased attacks against God’s children, then we know the time is near!

When all the world is focused on Israel and Jerusalem then you know that we are living in the end times and that the Tribulation period will begin soon. Many people, even believers do not believe in the rapture of the church, they say that it isn’t written in scripture.  But of course it is!

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

1 Corinthians 15:51-53

Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.”

Even though the word “rapture” itself is not written does not mean that the rapture is not spoken of in scripture!

And for those of us who believe in a pre-tribulation rapture of the church, it could happen at any time!  There are no other signs which must occur before the rapture, nothing which must happen before God calls us home.  For we are not appointed to wrath (which is the Tribulation period), there is now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus!

Romans 8:1-2

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

And if we are not appointed to wrath nor condemned by the law, then we will not endure the Tribulation period, a time appointed to the Jews, a time for God’s wrath upon the wicked, not the saved!  A time for God to reconcile Himself with His chosen people, the Jews.  Not at time of purification of the saints, for we have been washed clean by the blood of the Lamb.  And if you choose to not believe in a pre-tribulation rapture of the church so be it, it’s your choice to make, as for me I am looking for the return of Christ for the church, not the Antichrist (I will not answer comments regarding the rapture, believe what you will, if you want to know why I believe in a pre-tribulation rapture then read the posts below).

The Rapture of The Church….So Many Christians do not Understand!

—– The Rapture of the Church! Pre-Tribulation View —–

As God’s children we must pray continually, we must be on guard and aware of what is happening around us, and we must remain steadfast in our faith and beliefs of God Almighty!  Do not veer off the path which leads to righteousness, do not be deceived into believing the lies of the evil one, seek God in all things and know that He is with you always!

God bless my friends!  Maranatha!

The bible says pray for the peace of Jerusalem “NOT” pray for the peace of Israel ,Whoever accepts Jesus the son of God , IS Gods people and chosen ones. 2/3rds of Israel is Secular, non-believing. After an “Upcoming Spanking” from most of the world, THEN Israel will realize Messiah already came and is returning to save their butts and bring “Absolute” peace in the world ,something Mankind cannot do cause of their differences ! Each believing their way is right !

Thanks for your comment William Bailey!

This is how I see it, scripture tells us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, we are peacemakers according to scripture. God’s chosen people are Jews, the descendants of Abraham as was Christ. As believers we are the children of God, predestined.

And lets not forget Genesis 12:3
“I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

The good Lord tells us to bless Abraham, but I believe this means to bless Abraham and his descendants the Jews and the nation of Israel. Christ did not come from Abraham himself, but from the Jews, from the nation of Israel and He is a Jew.

We are to pray for and bless everyone, even those who come against us according to scripture.

      Matthew 5:43-48

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so? 48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.”

The rain falls on the good and the bad, the good Lord blesses even those who turn from Him in rebellion, and if we also bless those who come against us then we shall be like our Father in heaven.

      God bless! Maranatha!

Thank you for speaking the absolute biblical truth about Israel, deception, & the imminent rapture of the church – so many people, Christians included do not want to hear the truth – I am truly amazed that only a few are looking up & waiting impatiently for their Redeemer – why don’t believers want to see Jesus? Why are there so.many private prophecies when Jesus told us all we need to know? Why the criticism of Israel when we’re told to bless Israel? – Thank you for telling it as it is.

Thanks for your comment Elizabeth Slaughter!

I’m not really sure what these people are seeing in scripture that I am not, or perhaps what they are not seeing! No prophecy of scripture is for private interpretation according to scripture. There is much negativity about Israel and the Jews, sadly even among believers!

What I write is from what I see in scripture, what it tells us to be the truth and what the Holy Spirit tells me is the truth, nothing more, nothing less. And I will speak the truth of scripture whether or not anyone likes it, not to make people feel bad, but if they do then they do.

I am not here to please man but God! I am to love man and do good works, but it is my Father in heaven whom I seek to please, to perform His will, and to speak the truth whether or not anyone agrees with me! Political correctness, world views, and evil spirits will attempt to keep us all from the truth, yet we must with all of our heart seek the truth and rightly divide God’s word. Amen.

      God bless! Maranatha!
