If you are not of God, then you are of your father the devil!

I have written in the past about people who are not believers in Jesus Christ worshiping the devil.  And I have also had many responses telling me that I am wrong, however not in such nice terms!

I mentioned that atheists do in fact worship the devil.  This stirred up quite a controversy and many ill feelings towards me.

I never said that a person who does not place their faith in Jesus Christ, actually bow down in front of a Satanic alter and give alms to Satan.  However, one does not need to do such things in order to worship the devil.

I believe that Jesus Christ is the only true God of the universe.  That if a person does not believe in and give their life to Him, that they do in fact worship Satan.  They are of their father the devil.

John 8:44-47

“You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. 45 But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. 46 Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me? 47 He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.“

Those not of God are of their father the devil.  I didn’t make this up, this is what Jesus said, they are the words of God Almighty Himself!  Do we believe what God says, or do we pick and choose only what we want to believe?  I for one will believe all that God tells me to be the truth.

Colossians 1:15-18

“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.“

Jesus Christ is God, He came in the flesh, He was in the beginning, is here now, and always will be!

John 8:58

‘Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” ‘

He who is not born of God is a child of the devil, he does not practice righteousness nor does he love his brother.

1 John 3:8-10

“He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. 10 In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.“

We either worship God Almighty or we worship the devil, there is no in-between!  There is no safe zone between being saved and being lost, you either are or you are not.  You either love God or you are in rebellion against Him.

And many will say that there are many gods, that there isn’t just one god.  And I say that if this were true then the world and universe would be in major conflict with itself.  Imagine for a moment if the United States had more than one President, say it had hundreds.  How could the country possibly govern itself?  It would be in constant battle, nothing would be accomplished, and there would be utter chaos, confusion, and division.  The same with the universe, it can have only one God!  If this were not true then the universe would never have come about into being in the first place.

There is one God, Jesus Christ, however, there is also a fallen angel named Lucifer who wants to be God, he is actually the god this world (at least for a short while) and those not following in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.  The god of this world, Satan, has blinded the eyes of the unbelievers, the gospel of Jesus Christ is veiled to those who are perishing!

2 Corinthians 4:3-4

“But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.“

There are many in the world today who preach a false gospel, give a false message, and deceive many into believing lies.  They twist the truth, lie about the truth, and make up stories which are not true.

Colossians 2:8

“Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.“

Ephesians 5:6

“Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.”

When we are saved, born-again, we are given a new life, a new spirit, and are a new creation!

Ezekiel 36:26

“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.”

2 Corinthians 5:17

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.“

Ephesians 2:1-3

“And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, 2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.“

Believe in, trust, and love the LORD God with all of your heart, and you shall be saved.  Listen to that small voice inside, take heed to the urging of the Holy Spirit, and know that God is speaking to you.  Do not turn away in rebellion against the One who created it all, turn to Him and seek Him in wisdom and in truth.  You either serve God or you serve Satan, the choice is yours to make!

John 14:6

“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.“

Accept Jesus Christ now as your personal Lord and Savior!

  4. Hi Gordon, I believe the spirit that is influencing the majority is keeping them in a state of denial about the true state of evil in this world and they are turning their attention to the things of Christ as evil and hateful instead.

    God bless you and keep you persevering for the light of God’s word to break through and push back the darkness influencing the minds of unbelievers.

  5. Amen! We either choose to serve God, by accepting His Son Jesus Christ into our hearts, or we whose to reject God at which case we will fall victim to Satan’s schemes. No person is truly in control of their life. We will either allow God to guide us, or we will be manipulated by the Evil One.

  6. I agree with you Gordon. In the end there is only two choices.
    One can not serve two masters.
    “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” (Matt.6:24)

    God cares so much for His creation He gave us ‘free will’, to think on our own. Knowing full well some will choose to rebel and follow a different path.. But, giving us the CHOICE nonetheless. The opposite is true with the self-centered deceiver. The impostor who misleads and twists the truth to enslave us to his destructive ways, causing our demise.
    God is patient and wants no one to receive the ultimate judgment. Through repentance and belief in the only name that can save us from this decree – Jesus Christ. He is truth, He alone is the way to the Father, in Him there’s life for He is life.
    There’s a line in the sand that’s been drawn… Choose wisely…
    In the end when this cosmic war is finish, TRUTH will stand victorious and LOVE will reign!

    2Peter 3:8 “But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day.’ v.13 ‘Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.’ Be steadfast! v.’s 14,15 ‘…be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless; and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation -…’ freely given to all of us, (the fallen angels forfeit theirs. Let’s not follow their choice.) v.18 ‘but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.”

    And although some people will make the wrong choice because they have been deceived, they still follow the devil, and they will be judged, just as we all will one day. Like you said, we must choose wisely.

  13. Genesis {3:15} And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy SEED and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Satan seed false Jews, Lord Jesus was referring to this group who did put him to death.

    I believe that her seed is referring to Jesus Christ, and that this verse is also speaking about the corruption of human DNA, a seed war.

    Fallen angels (bene ha’elohim) had taken human women as wives and bore children (giants). Satanic angel / human hybrids, Nephilim.

    Genesis 6:4
    “There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.”

    Satan’s plan was to corrupt the seed of man in order to keep the Messiah from being born into this world. However, I also believe that it goes much deeper than even that. I believe that Satan wants to corrupt all of God’s creation, thus also keeping people (whom he hates) from being saved.

    If Satan can corrupt our DNA then can we still be saved? Human experimentation of human DNA is very common these days, as is the experimentation of hybrid beings. Yes, Satan is still at work attempting to corrupt us from the inside out. And I don’t know if you have heard, but there was recently told of a living giant being found in Afghanistan about ten years ago, could this actually be a Nephilim?! I believe so! It weighed in at about 1200 pounds, was about ten to twelve feet tall, it had six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot, and it smelled like rotting corpses.

    I have also heard that the Mark of the Beast may actually change our DNA structure, if this is so then those taking the mark have doomed themselves to hell because they could no longer be saved! This will permanently mark them as property of Satan!
