The world is literally at the brink of destruction! Wars are flaring up, threats of wars are on the rise, the fear of a nuclear holocaust is in the air, nation is rising against nation, diseases once before unheard of are threatening the lives of millions with no cures in sight, severe droughts of biblical proportions are striking the earth while food supplies are dwindling and being threatened, disastrous earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and super storms are ravaging cities, towns, and villages across the globe. Immorality is the “norm” of the day. Evil is not only increasing, it is becoming good, and good is becoming evil, while the twisting of the truth is a common occurrence!
Yet, even with all of this happening, and right in their very own backyard, millions of people continue on with their hedonistic lifestyle, as if all were well! Carnival! The secular world’s answer to the ills of the day! Pleasure seekers, mockers and scoffers, atheists, and those worshiping false gods, coming together in unity in rebellion against the One who created them!
And many will say: “Just because these people are celebrating doesn’t mean that they are rebelling against God!”
And I say: “Oh really? Have you even seen what these people are doing? Most wearing nothing but a few feathers, many wearing nothing at all exposing themselves to the world, exhibiting ungodly behaviors. Worshiping false gods and idols, tell me it isn’t so! Drunkenness, lewd behaviors, immorality, sin, sexual innuendos, all blasphemy against God Almighty!”
Carnival represents the spirit of antichrist! It is a celebration of the world system and all that it represents. It is ungodly, unholy, and unpure! Don’t believe me? Then google it yourself!
Many will fall victim to the lures of this worldly tradition, seeking out what is the antithesis of God Almighty Himself!
What will it take to wake people of the world up?! Will it take nuclear annihilation? World-wide starvation? Or perhaps never before heard of natural disasters on a scale which we have never seen before? Of course, we all know that a disease epidemic such as the Zika Virus will not wake them up!
The last days will come difficult or perilous times, do we see this now?
2 Timothy 3:1-5
“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! “
Titus 3:3
“For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another.“
It just blows my mind that millions of people will risk getting the Zika Virus by not wearing any clothing, or very little at best! The World Health Organization has warned people in these areas to wear long pants, and long shirts. Instead, they would rather submit to their gods and false idols in a hedonistic worship celebration!
There is still much we don’t yet know about the Zika Virus, such as just what all of the symptoms are, how it is spread, and how severe the linked birth defects are. And as of yet there is no know cure or vaccination, and probably won’t be for years!
Not only are these people placing themselves at risk, many of them have traveled from foreign countries and may just bring the virus back with them! This disease is a significant crisis, and one which could ignite into a world-wide disaster very quickly!
These people are so drawn to pleasure-seeking, drunkenness, and lewd conduct and behavior that they cannot see the forest through the trees! And isn’t this how sin is? When you are in the middle of it, it’s like a frog in a pot of water, the heat is slowly increased until the frog boils to death! Sin is the same way, it slowly kills until it is too late!
This is a major sign folks, a sign of the end times, the last days! It plays a very significant role in end time events and the fulfilling of prophecy spoken of by Jesus Christ and by the apostle Paul.
Morality and what is good has been on a sharp decline in the world over the past several decades, actually since the 1960’s, and immorality and what is evil in the world has simultaneously been on a sharp rise! The following diagram is a good way to view this and makes it easier to comprehend.
The place in the middle where the lines cross represent a balance between both good and evil in the world, and I believe that we have already crossed over that line! The world has become more evil and wicked than it is good, and this will continue on the trajectory shown in the diagram! The evil will keep going up until it’s completely off the chart, and the good will continue to decrease in the world until it is difficult to find, and maybe close to impossible once the Tribulation period has begun!
This is where the world is headed, and they can’t even see it! Perhaps if they looked at this diagram it would make some sense to them! But I doubt it very much, at least not for most of them.
1 Corinthians 2:14
“ But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.“
The only way out of all this mess is through the blood of Jesus Christ! He is the way, the life, and the truth. Amen.
The lost need our prayers, they need to see Christ in us, through us, and all around us. Then perhaps they will learn wisdom and understanding!
Proverbs 9:10
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.“
Good Lord Almighty, may You strengthen all of Your children, giving us courage to withstand, wisdom and understanding to do what is righteous and holy, and the heart to love as You first loved us! May You soften the hearts of the lost, and remove the scales from their eyes so that they too may know You! Pour out Your Spirit O God, make Yourself known to all flesh, that they might turn from their wicked ways and acknowledge You as their Lord and Savior! Amen.

I believe your right when you said they would rather hide any acknowledgment of truth in frivolities. Until its too late and then they’ll be asking the rocks to cover them for sure. We’re living in perilous times…
Pray without ceasing to the Most High God for humanity to come to its senses. Let us humble ourselves, concede to the times we are living in (but not be part of), be prepared with the strength and power of our Lord in us. He is the only way, with Him He will give us the courage we need to stand… God Bless us all.

Amen! I agree with you Gordon, things are just going from bad to worse and the majority are blind or asleep or lulled into a false sense of security they are just not being phased by the warning signs all around them!
Just today in the UK on the radio a presenter was talking to a woman vicar on his show enquiring about her Christian perspective on homosexuality and she said that it was true that in several places in The Bible it did say that homosexuality was an abomination to God but that it also said that we should also not wear clothes mixed from two threads linen and wool and that she doesn’t hear anyone making an uproar or complaints about that being disregarded today!!!
Where are the voices of God in the UK? They are gathering to themselves teachers that will tickle their ears! Perhaps I am called to write in to the show to say to the listeners that the teachings and warnings about homosexuality are taught and carried throughout The Bible and are in the New Testament too and especially in warnings of end times practising Homosexuality is a Sin in Gods sight . I want to ask ‘ so in that case are you saying that when one becomes a Christian it would be acceptable to God for us to remain in our sins of Adultery, Lust, Fornication, Murder, Theft, etc or does the Bible teach that we must put off our sins and not walk according to the flesh but take up our cross dying to self and living to Christ in us! Should we not be willing to pluck out our eye if it causes us to sin? God loves the sinner but all sin is abhorrent to Him that’s why He gives us a new nature when we surrender to Him as Lord. All who come to Jesus are born again of His Spirit and will become willing to forsake their sins even if that means living in celibacy or receiving healing or deliverance then so be it! He will give us the strength, the means ,the power and the inclination to do what is necessary if we truly surrender and humbly turn to Him for help and willingness to give up our sins to Him…… we just can not go on in Sin if we desire to walk closely with Him, however,He loved us in our fallen state that’s why He died for us ! He knew it was the only way we could be delivered from sin and death and He will complete the work in us. It is a miraculous work and we should not limit God !
Where are the voices of God in the UK? Where are Gods people in the UK are we all hiding behind closed doors?
I believe it will take an even greater shaking to wake up those that are sleeping in their comfortable lukewarm nominal Christian lives and those that are unbelievers and spiritually blind.
I am praying without ceasing and sense a great yearning and groaning within me from the Holy Spirit praying in words that can’t be uttered! I am weak but He is strong within me! We Christian believers must continue in Spirit led prayer and Dear Gordon you must continue with your Spirit led work, it is much needed in these times and I thank God for using you in this way.
Dear Lord Almighty God , I ask that you will provide all wisdom and discernment to Gordon and keep Him in Your Will and under Your protection at all times . Keep Gordon safe from the wiles of the devil and all attacks against him as He seeks to do that for which You have called him . In the name of Jesus Christ I ask. Amen.

Of course the bible, and specifically the New Testament, says that homosexuality is a sin and an abomination! The New Testament says nothing about mixing of threads for garments, these are Old Testament laws. However, we are to dress modestly, in a godly fashion.
Many Christian churches have strayed away from the teachings of Christ! They have twisted the truth, omitted portions of the truth, and have not rightly divided the word of God. Many are afraid to speak the entire truth, out of fear of offending someone!
Political correctness is killing a significant portion of the church, and society at large. Look whats happening in Europe with the mass immigration of Syrian refugees. Women are being raped and groped, yet the government is in fear of accusing these immigrants for the crimes they have committed. Political correctness has led the world into believing that Islam is a religion of peace! It masks the truth, and twists the evil into good. We have been warned that this would happen by the prophet Isaiah. Many churches just don’t seem to get it, we are to live in the world, not of the world!
I agree with you 100% Christine! When we accept Christ as our Lord and Savior, we are to put off sin, and put on Christ! That is not to say that we will never sin, of course we will, we are living in a fallen world and are not perfect, yet we are not to live a life of sin. The scriptures are very explicit in telling us what is right and what is wrong, and what is sinful in the eyes of God.
Scripture tells us to be holy, because God is holy. How can we then be holy if we are living a life of sin?!
From what I have heard recently Christine, is that the churches in Europe are dwindling, that many are closing their doors! Another sign of the last days.
