I have recently received a comment from a person I will refer to as “anonymous”. This person is a self-proclaimed unbeliever in Jesus Christ! I receive much criticism from people such as this, and as such, this is what we as believers are up against in the world today. This is just another example of bible prophecy coming to pass!
I have not responded to anonymous, yet I will do so when I have the time to give a decent answer to his comments and statements.

Atheists are right, there is no god! or is There?

What on earth makes you believe that your God is the one true God?? A book written c. 2000 years ago that accepts slavery, murdering of non Virgins and goes hand in hand with the wants of the rulers of the time? Suppose there’s no pearly gates with the big cheese there, what if it’s Vishnu, Horus and Isis, Pan, Jupiter, or most likely, the inky blackness of eternity…
More to the point, how dare you say that atheists follow Satan by default simply because they don’t believe in God. I don’t believe in God or Jesus Christ, why does that mean I follow Satan? Generally atheists aren’t going to believe in eternal punishment if we don’t believe in an eternal paradise. Don’t put a tag on us and claim that to be the ‘truth’, simply because you know nothing else.
Do you have children? They weren’t Christian at birth, they were atheist because they weren’t taught Religion or what to believe. They surely must have been slaves of Satan? Yourself perhaps, straight from the womb? You didn’t know about God and Jesus, therefore couldn’t possibly follow God and Jesus, therefore must have followed Satan and been his slave. Think about that.
Arrogance is a sin? Labelling atheists as devil followers whilst ascertaining you know is the truth whilst blatantly rejecting the views of others is extremely arrogant. Personally, I find ignorance to be a worse sin.
I know some very good people who are Christian , and bad people who are atheist. I also know some awful Christians and amazing people, who live their lives with love and morality, who are atheist. If God teaches love, what’s more important, loving a moral and loving (to others) life but being religion free, or being a believer in God, but an awful human being.
Seriously, no proof of evolution??? Guessing dinosaurs were just a Sunday afternoon show as well then?
This person has no understanding of Christianity or God. What I have written in the post is the truth from scripture! If we are not of God Almighty, then we are of the devil!

The world is quickly falling apart my friends! The end times are not only before us, they are here now. We are living in the last days, days in which scoffers, mockers, and unbelievers will do everything at their power to stop us in our tracks!
Let us all as believers in Jesus Christ stand firm and tall in our faith! Let us put on the armor of God daily, walk upright and just, as Jesus did. You may stumble, you may even fall, but don’t let that stop you from getting back up, shaking off the dust, and continuing down the straight and narrow path of righteousness!
Being a Christian is not easy, the world today is a very difficult place for us to live in. Evil is spreading, morals and values are quickly degrading, and society at large is becoming more antichrist!
God is not only with us, He is within us! His angels surround us, and He protects us. We are the children of the Most High God of the universe! When unbelievers attack us they attack God, and He doesn’t exactly take kindly to that, as we are His cherished possessions!
This website is not just a Christian website, it is a Holy site, a site ordained by God Himself! It wasn’t me who started this site, but my Father in heaven. It is through His Holy Spirit that this site is written, through His Spirit that many are blessed, and through His Spirit that the lost may see the light! If this were not true, then this site would no longer exist today, as I am weak, but He is strong, I am nobody, but He is all!
We shall endure trials, pain, and suffering, we shall endure persecution for His name sake! And when we do we should count it as all joy, with glory to our Father! It shall build us up, strengthen our resolve, and increase our faith!
Take heed my friends, and listen to the warning calls of our Father in heaven! Know that time is short and our redemption is drawing near!

End Time Bible Prophecy 
Well he/she seems iffy..maybe out of fear of the unknown? It’s sad that people don’t know the truth or refuse to take His word as truth..for me I always believed God existed..I just lacked the faith in believing..hopefully he/she will get the opportunity to know God before it’s too late.

When some non-believer gets angry because a beliver says he follows satan he should laught of it.
But when they actually gets angry, it seems like they’re not so sure after all.
Secondly, the evolution can not be prooved at all. It’s just a desperate try to explain God away using x billion years. The fact is that evolution is mathematically impossible.
No-one is born an atheist. Some became it when they are told the theory, so it’s actually just another religion!
Scientifically things is things that can be prooved 100% by observation. That’s not the same as evolution that can not be prooved 100%. It’s just a simple theory, that’s all.
And of course such persons gets even more angry and desperate when they first laugh of you and mock you, only to find out that Jesus told us in front that it will happen.
By the way, atheists globally today represents only 16% of the worlds population, and it’s not like many think that this wiev is growing. It’s on a decline. In 2050 it’s calculated that it will have fallen to 13%.
It’s two reasons for it. — People from the muslim and hindu religion have a much higher birth-rate.
Secondly and maybe more surprisingly, atheists also become believers!
It often starts when they starts to question their own wiev, and realise that evolution just can’t be true.
But that’s not enough. They also have to meet Jesus. I know a guy myself. He was an atheist. He simply refused to believe without proove.
His story in a quick version is like this according to himself:
One day he had an accident and fall into a lake at wintertime. (And believe me, that’s very cold here in Norway)
He just couldn’t get up by himself. Desperately he prayed to God,but he was still was stubborn and said he would only believe if he got proove. So he told me that something physically grabbed his hand and pulled him up to land. He couldn’t see it,just feel it.
And someone said “Do you believe now?”
Then he hadn’t any choise but believe.
I just think it’s a special story a wanted to say even if it was a side -track from what I should say. Ĺ
So Gordon, when people mock and laugh it’s just a proove you’re on the right track!

I agree with you 100%! I also feel the same way, why is this fellow is angry at me for speaking about Satan if he doesn’t even believe that Satan exists?!
I have written before about evolution and the mathematical impossibility of evolution ever happening. It takes much more faith to believe in evolution then it does God! Evolution cannot be proven, God can.
I also know that this man has done something that he never intended to do, and that is increase my faith and give me more joy because he is fulfilling bible prophecy! By his actions he is giving glory to God without even knowing it!
Have you ever heard of Lee Strobel? He is an investigative journalist who was once an atheist, then decided to investigate Jesus Christ and creation, due to the fact that he needed “facts”, and his wife also had given her life to Christ. Well, as it goes, once he finished his investigations, he found much more proof for Jesus Christ being who he said that he was and for the universe being created by God! He had no other choice but to accept Christ as his Lord and Savior!
I like your story of the man who was saved from the ice cold lake. Isn’t it funny how we call out to God instinctively when we are in dire trouble?! We know in our hearts that he is the only one who can save us from imminent disaster!

I read the comments of Anon. the atheist. I would ask how and atheist can assume so much authority about God and sin, the afterlife, the devil, Christians, and religion. Sounds to me like someone has been reading the bible. I never could figure out that if a person doesn’t believe in the existence of God then why would they ever bother arguing against His existence if you know He doesn’t exist. It makes it much easier when you do believe in God, because with God you are given the answers in the bible to the questions and problems that athiests find themselves arguing over that gives you the freedom to never have too.

Oh dear, I can clearly see my last comment ruffled a few feathers…
First of all though, I do not mock or scoff anyone, whatever their belief. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion so my comment was never intended to make people believe otherwise.
I was clearly and blatantly misunderstood. I didn’t actually argue against the existence of a deity or demon, just merely expressed my annoyance at being labeled a Satan Worshipper just for being an atheist. That’s like me labelling you all mentally unhinged and hallucinating because you have an invisible friend in the sky who’ll make everything better. Pretty insulting, no? Maybe readers should actually read my comment again…?

Ethin: My Primary school was a Church of England school, so i’m very well acquainted with the Bible. You said, “with God you are given the answers in the bible to the questions and problems that athiests find themselves arguing over”. I won’t deny that people find comfort in passages in the Bible, but ones like:
1) 1 Peter 2:18 – “Slaves, submit yourselves to your masters with all respect, not only to the good and gentle but also to the cruel.”
2) Psalm 137:9 – “Happy is he who repays you for what you have done to us – he who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks.”
3) 1 Timothy 2:12 – “I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent.”
Really do, or at least should, make you think twice.
Andi Garcia: I don’t fear the unknown. I don’t know exactly what happens after this but, in the words of Mark Twain, I do not fear death, I had been dead for billions and billions of years before I was born and had not suffered the slightest inconvenience from it. I am only “iffy” because I challenged what was written here.
Øystein: More people turn from religious to atheist (like myself) than atheist to religious. And yes, evolution is more than a theory but scientific proven. It CAN be proved 100%. You have but to ask and i will show you where to look. Yes, everyone is born an atheist (IE without religion). Newborns in the deepest rainforests in communities untouched by the ‘civil’ world and christianity are not christians…

I’ve read a fair bit on this site, just to get a idea of whom I’m speaking to. I know there’s no chance of changing your opinion but I am going to state a few things:
True colours of Islam, Commentary by Gordon – this is an arrogant, woefully ignorant, and quite frankly, disgusting article. You have labelled an entire people based on a minority, yes a minority. You have clearly never been to a Muslim country. I have, yes there were some very nasty people who wanted to kill me but the majority of people i met couldn’t do enough to help me. They are kind, caring, engaging, and i sometimes relied my life on them. I place more trust in these Muslims than people who write degrading words such as the ones here. Fundamental groups do state they carry out their deeds in the name of Islam, but they are no more Muslim than Paedophile Priests are Christian. Yes there’s quotes that are questionable in the Quran, no less than some of the Bible’s. Ive got plenty more immoral and hypocritical verses than the ones already stated! Do some digging, you’ll see there’s plenty of Muslim communities who reject the ideals of such groups like ISIS. Research the Egyptian crises of late and when Muslims formed a circle to protect christians during mass.
You believe the Bible word for word (or so you say). Please tell me what happened to the Unicorns, the Leviathans and Cherubs, because they all feature in the Bible.

It’s defined as the quality of being morally right or justifiable. You don’t need religion to be either of those things. Ive been to 3rd World Places to do a bit of ‘helping’ . I’m now a policeman and a good deal of my time is spent for other people. I also give a lot to charity (from my salary and fundraising events like marathons). I don’t ask for anything back, nor do i expect some reward, be it earthly or divine. I do these things because it’s the right thing to do for humanity, its the right thing to do, to do for others. Beyond your preaching, may i ask what you do for other people Gordon? How do you help other people? Personally, if my beliefs are working and I’m in front of the Pearly Gates being judged I reckon that my entry ‘to the party’ will be based on earthly actions as oppose to beliefs. If that’s not the case and I’m pushed ‘down the shute’, at least I’ll be with others on the same humanitarian thinking level as me, which I’d rather prefer, instead of hanging around forever more with selfish souls who only acted with their own souls in mind.

Of course you do not know me, nor do you know what I do for the Lord, that is between Him and me. And I know that there are many people in this world who do “good” things for other people, whether or not they are Christians! However, good works do not save us Tom, only Jesus Christ saves!

And I never said that Muslims were bad people Tom, I know that there are many Muslims who are “good” people, yet the religion is evil! Well, we are told in scripture to love one another, even our enemies. This is a spiritual battle, we need prayer and the power of God within us to overcome the enemy. If we do what the enemy does, such as ISIS beheading and burning people alive, then what makes us any better than them?

I am a friend of Tom’s and he directed me to your website. I must admit that i have been enthralled by some of your articles. You are a very eloquent and highly literate writer with, clearly, a lot of talent. I do, however, have several issues with your opinions and replies.
Tom put forward a number of reasoned arguments and comments and i was looking forward to your responses and hoped that I may be able to wade in on what was already a productive debate. What i found, to my dissapointment, is not a single evidence based reply but a number of preachy retorts which simply quote the bible as your evidence and a plethora of circular reasoning. Most of all i was embarrassed by the use of Pascal’s Wager. Really Gordon? Really?
Firstly, the Bible cannot be used as evidence to prove that it is true. This is circular reasoning. The Bible is true because it says that it is the word of god which means that it must be true and this means it is the word of god. This has no benefit in debate.
Like Tom, i am an Atheist, and i have done many good works. I have served my country at home and abroad for the simple reason that it is the right thing to do. Why do you do good things? If it is because you are trying to secure your place in heaven then surely this detracts from the good works you do. Does this not make your good work selfish? Now i am not saying that good work does not come out of religion and people who do good things in the name of god are not good people. Of course they are, but i think that they would be good people without god.
Although you have not directly stated that muslims are bad people but by saying that their religion is evil you are saying that they are evil by following that religion. Both the Quran and the Bible came from the same area, at the same time, from the same people. They are two sides of the same coin. You can read the two simultaneously and find that they are the exact same stories but from different perspectives. To say that the content of the Quran is anything worse than those in the Bible is ludicrous. Both holy books advocate slavery, infanticide, rape, genocide, the stoning of gays, to name but a few, but you never remember these parts because you are blinded by the indoctrination you have been subjected to since you were “Saved”.
No, just because we have not found evidence that a creature existed it does not prove it never did, however, based on the current evidence it is safe to assume that it never did. We live in an evidence based culture and believing something without evidence is stupid. We have never found evidence of a half llama, half budgie, which lives on the moon and coughs up chicken noodles but if i suggested that one might have existed once I would likely find myself in a straight jacket on some serious medication.
How can President Obama be antichrist when he wakes up to scripture every morning? (And by the way, directly stating that he is the antichrist and putting links to other articles on your website stating that he is the antichrist are essentially the same thing.)
Oh dear, the “Evolution is just a theory” argument. I expected more from you to be honest. I hope that you truly have made a mistake and do not know the difference between a scientific theory and the common use of the word theory rather than making a statement like that which you know to be asinine. Just in case, allow me to explain.
When an idea is conceived it goes through several stages before it becomes gospel (I’m sorry, i could not resist). Firstly there is the hypothesis stage. A hypothesis is a suggested solution for an unexplained occurrence that does not fit into current accepted scientific theory. The basic idea of a hypothesis is that there is no pre-determined outcome. For a hypothesis to be termed a scientific hypothesis, it has to be something that can be supported or refuted through carefully crafted experimentation or observation. This is called falsifiability and testability, according to the Encyclopedia Britannica.
Every scientific theory starts as a hypothesis. If enough evidence accumulates to support a hypothesis, it moves to the next step — known as a theory — in the scientific method and becomes accepted as a valid explanation of a phenomenon. A scientific theory is the framework for observations and facts. Theories may change, or the way that they are interpreted may change, but the facts themselves don’t change. Imagine a basket in which scientists keep facts and observations that they find. The shape of that basket may change as the scientists learn more and include more facts. For example, we have ample evidence of traits in populations becoming more or less common over time (evolution), so evolution is a fact but the overarching theories about evolution, the way that we think all of the facts go together might change as new observations of evolution are made.
You say that we can see the evidence of god by looking in the eyes of a baby or breathing a breath of fresh air. These are not evidence of god, they are evidence of air and babies eyes.
This may be the part which i finally annoy you because i must take issue with your comment of the goodness of god. How can you call god good? If he could ever be proven to exist then how could you ever consider him to be good? This schizophrenic, megalomaniacal, genocidal, racist, vindictive, jealous, homophobic lunatic allows children to suffer and die on a daily basis in the most horrific ways whilst answering the prayers of people asking for mundane things like winning the cup final? He holds you hostage into carrying out your daily prayers and holds you on your knees with the threat of being tortured for all eternity. If i was to walk into your home and put a gun to your head, telling you that if you dont worship me that i would keep you in my basement and torture you forever, you would call the police. This is the biggest case of stockholm syndrome in history.
Even if god was to appear in the middle of London and say “Word up, guess you all better worship me now” i still wouldn’t. Why would i, the guys is an absolute bully.

I could spend much time answering you as I did with Tom, but I will not. You are not ready to hear it, therefore it would be a waste of my precious time. If you truly wanted to know about the God of the universe then I would, however you do not. You will not see what I see, or know what I know, because you are hardened to it.
What I can tell you is that I know God, I have experienced God on a personal level, as I do each and everyday.
Many people did see God in person, yet they still did not believe. This is the world we live in today Colin, people who need a physical manifestation of God to believe, but then like you said, you still wouldn’t believe!
We can all believe what we choose to believe, we all have a free will. God loves you Colin, I love you! I only want the best for you and everyone else living on this planet, I will force no one to believe in God, it’s your choice.

Lunatic definition, (no longer in technical use; now considered offensive) an insane person.
Why are you still Alive? You should be Dead with an epitome on your gravestone stating, “Colin most beloved of so and so died so tragically and mysteriously. We will miss you dearly. She will always be remembered as “An Atheist with a Big Heart.””

20 Early in the morning, as they were walking along, they saw the fig tree withered to its roots.

If God can blow the breath of life into Adam’s nostrils and make him into a living being, he can also suck the breath of life from a person’s nostrils and end his life. Just a question of whether He wants to or not. That’s all. And you know what, nobody would know it was God who did it because He is Invisible. And Colin would be no more, there will be a bit of mourning if there were people who love you but after that you will be forgotten and life would go on. After a while, nobody cares.
Remember God either Exists or God does not exist. Believing or not believing that is your prerogative ever since Jesus Christ opened the Gates of Salvation through Faith in God to the Whole World at His Crucifixion and Resurrection.
The only other explanation why you would be alive after saying those things is, “God does not exist.”

is the utterance of an utter nutcase talking about what she believes to be some unproven hypothetical being due to what she believes to be a lack of evidence with such strong and offensive language describing Him who does not exist?
The enigma is if God does not exist, why is there the Bible written by man professing the existence of God and what are Christians? Why are there so many Christians? Why are there so many religious things made about God? And if the Bible is written by man and not God and is not true, why is the Bible able to predict so many events before it happens and is able to convince some people that there is God?
And if God does not exist, and the Bible is false, how is it able to describe the land of Israel as it is today? If the Bible is false and there is no God, why are there Jews around? Why are there Christians around? Why are there so many famous beautifully decorated cathedrals and churches around? Why are there so many famous beautiful religious art around? Why are there Jews claiming Jesus was a false messiah around? If there are Jews claiming Jesus was a false messiah, there must have been a Jesus for Him to be claimed as a false messiah. Why are there crucifixes around if there is no God and if the Bible is false?
Why is ISIL targeting Christians in the Middle East if Christians are nobodies worshiping God who does not exist and reading a Bible which is false? If God does not exist and the Bible is false, are not Christians just a bunch of clowns? Why does ISIL target them? Clowns are a joke. They make people laugh. Why kill Christian Clowns? And better still, who is ISIL giving praise to when they do their chant before going about their business of death? Would you like to inform them that there is no God? That is called Apostasy. You will be labeled, “Infidel”, and executed.
If there is no God and the Bible is false, who rescued Gordon King from the depths of despair and taught him to be a preacher on the internet? You seriously believe Gordon King could have done and better still come up with all of this, all by himself in a state of depression and misery combined with anti-depressants and anti-anxiety drugs. You kidding me. Give me a break. This guy was a faithless pathetic miserable depressed suicidal Christian loser who could not even hold his mental, emotional and spiritual poise while God chastised his son for being a bad boy in order to bring about some good out of it. Basically he was the joke and taunt and laughing stock of demons.
No God, God does not exist? You must be kidding me. The proofs are right in front of your eyes.
God is Good. God is Merciful. God is Gracious. He Exists and Wills All People Everywhere to Repent and to Live in Accordance with the Words of Jesus Christ.
Take Advantage of this Extremely Small Window of Time of Mercy, Lost Sheep to Return back to the Shephard of the Fold before it is too late.
Now when you are given the Gift of Faith to believe in God for your Salvation, how you go about that business of Salvation, that is a Mystery in itself. Jesus Christ states It Mysteriously here:

11 “This is the meaning of the parable. The seed is the word of God.
12 Those on the path are the ones who have heard, but the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts that they may not believe and be saved.
13 Those on rocky ground are the ones who, when they hear, receive the word with joy, but they have no root; they believe only for a time and fall away in time of trial.
14 As for the seed that fell among thorns, they are the ones who have heard, but as they go along, they are choked by the anxieties and riches and pleasures of life, and they fail to produce mature fruit.
15 But as for the seed that fell on rich soil, they are the ones who, when they have heard the word, embrace it with a generous and good heart, and bear fruit through perseverance.
