Chaos, confusion, fear, and nowhere to turn!

Chaos and confusion

Commentary By:  Gordon King

I feel the world becoming even darker and more menacing than the day before.  I sense an increase in chaos and confusion which I have never felt at any time before.  Not only in the church, but in the entire world!

Evil in the world is like a consuming fire, spreading at lightning speed, devouring everything in its path, or at least trying to!

As time goes by it seems as if a situation arises which brings the world closer to complete chaos and utter destruction.  World leaders act as if all is fine and they have things in control, as if they have the answers, yet at the same time they have no real solutions.  They only seem to be making things worse!

To the common man and woman watching the events in the world unfold, the meaning of life itself has no real meaning or purpose.  Nothing makes much sense anymore!  Just about anything you could imagine is happening, and most of it acceptable in the eyes of the world!  What isn’t acceptable is tolerable, and what isn’t tolerable has no solution to the problems they represent.

World leaders say one thing and do another, they claim to be doing the “right” thing, yet seem to be doing the exact opposite!

Chaos, confusion, fear, and doubt fill the minds of many if not a large majority of the world’s population today.  Not knowing what tomorrow will bring, not knowing where to turn or who to turn to for help when disaster strikes!  Having a feeling of hopelessness, of no real future to look forward to, is this the hope for a new generation?

The world is a complete and utter mess!  There will soon arise a world leader who will claim to have all of the answers, he will be compelling, compassionate, and charismatic!  The world will follow after him as if he were the savior of the world!  Do not be deceived, do not be led astray my friends, there is only one answer to the world’s problems, only one Savior of the world, Jesus Christ!

There is no need to feel hopeless, helpless, or in fear of the world.  You can have a future, have hope, and be assured of your future.  Jesus Christ is our hope, our help, and our assurance of a better life, of eternal life!  Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and you will have nothing to fear.

Let us not fear the world, nor take part in the chaos and confusion.  Let us love one another as Christ first loved us!  Let us glorify our Father in heaven by loving those in need, by serving one another through God’s love and gifts.  Let the love of God flow through you by reaching out to others.  By giving someone a warm smile, by telling them that you care, by being a loving and thankful person.  This is Christianity, sharing the love of God with a hurting world, bearing each others burdens, and putting others before ourselves, serving one another from the love of God!

God bless my friends!  Maranatha!

  1. This seems to be exactly what is happening Gordon. The way you have described the situation in this world sums it up. The world leaders are deceiving the people. The only hope for this world is Jesus King of Kings to rule and reign. Hoping and praying for His soon return. God bless you Gordon

  2. The world is on an unsustainable path. Nothing that is happening right now on the world powers scene is sustainable. North Korea, Iran, Russia and China are not going to keep the status quo for much longer. It’s exciting to witness the last days, the end times are now, we are living in them. Granted there is a lot of fear and uncertainty but peace and blessings are coming. God is still interested in saving the lost in the midst of all these difficulties and that is a good thing.

  3. Thanks for your comment Ethin!

I agree with you wholeheartedly, we are living in the last days! No doubt in my mind. And while all of this fear, doubt and uncertainty reign in the world today, it is also these same things which will lead many to faith in Jesus Christ! God will make good come from evil.

    God bless!
