Damascus, a ruinous heap!
The Syrian civil war has brought great destruction and desolation to the war-torn country and it’s inhabitants. Millions upon millions of Syrians have fled the country in an attempt to survive. And now the capital of Syria, Damascus, finds itself in the middle of the war.
Syrian rebels surround the city, as Syrian forces and Hezbollah send reinforcements to defend President Assad. Not only are these forces fighting to defend the capital, but also Russian forces who have entrenched themselves within the country.
As the fighting escalates, so does the destruction of Damascus! This my friends is what I believe to be the fulfilling of bible prophecy, Isaiah 17. Bible prophecy in the making.
‘The burden against Damascus.
“Behold, Damascus will cease from being a city,
And it will be a ruinous heap.
2 The cities of Aroer are forsaken;
They will be for flocks
Which lie down, and no one will make them afraid.
3 The fortress also will cease from Ephraim,
The kingdom from Damascus,
And the remnant of Syria;
They will be as the glory of the children of Israel,”
Says the Lord of hosts.‘
Believe what the bible says will happen, look around you, see for yourself. The fulfillment of bible prophecy is a sign for believers to build our faith, and a sign for unbelievers to know that God is real so that they might also worship Him.
God bless my friends! Maranatha!
