Are we now like the “Days of Noah” were?

Commentary By:  Gordon King

When tragedy occurs and disaster strikes life goes on, business as usual.  Move along folks, there is nothing to see here, just another isolated incident!

Really?!  Doesn’t it seem sort of odd and eerily strange that evil acts and violent deeds are occurring more often and are becoming more heinous?  Yet, the world just keeps on going as if none of this were even happening, as if these things are just a normal part of life!

Why are parents tossing their babies out of apartment windows and off of bridges?  Innocent young children being raped and murdered.  Why do so many women choose to murder their unborn babies, why are so many bent on having abortions?

Palestinians are attempting to kill innocent Israeli citizens.  The President of the Palestinian Authority is calling for increased violence and persecution of the Jews.  He is inciting hatred and violence against them, stirring the pot and instilling an atmosphere of terror, evil, and wickedness!  This is Islam?  This is the religion of “peace”?!  Sorry, but I just don’t see it!

There so much tension and chaos in the Middle East that its difficult to figure out just what is going on!  Russia and Iran have started fighting in Syria.  The United States is supporting rebel Syrian forces.  Saudi Arabia says that Russian assaults on the rebel forces will lead to utter disaster!  The United Nations and the world is allowing the Islamic State to continue its evil and deadly rampage, with only sporadic bombings in an attempt to stop them.

The world is silent about the massive annihilation of Christians around the globe.  Increased persecution of both Christians and Jews is on the rise!  Where is the public outcry, where is the voice of government while all of this hatred and mass genocide is going on?!

Why are we seeing an increase in natural disasters?  Massive flooding, record-breaking rains, disastrous storms, mud slides, all taking a toll on human life and property.

Life goes on, business as usual.  Just as in the days of Noah, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving birth, yet the world had become sinful, evil, and full of pride.  Nothing out of the ordinary, or so it seemed to the masses!

Just how close are we?  Are we at the point of being like in the “days of Noah”?  Is Christ standing at the door waiting to rapture the church?  Just how much worse will it get before the beginning of the Tribulation period?

No one knows for sure, but I can say that things are getting bad!  Evil and demonic spirits have stepped up their game.  The evil and wickedness in the world is surging to a point of climactic events.

The only way out, the only way for true peace and protection is by knowing God Almighty!  Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior while you still can.  Give peace a chance!

God bless my friends!  Maranatha!
