World View of an Unbeliever

just another nuclear explosion copy

Commentary By:  Gordon King

What does the world look like from the perspective of an unbeliever?  Have you ever wondered about that?  I have.

They must certainly see the world falling apart at the seams, the evil intensifying, and the sin increasing.  I mean, what on earth must they be thinking about all of this?

First off, they cannot see what believers see, at least they cannot comprehend it the same way, nor do they understand.  They are blinded to the truth and have many explanations for what is now happening in the world around them.

Matthew 13:13

“This is why I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.”

1 Corinthians 2:14

“But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

Worldly man cannot understand the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and they must be spiritually discerned.

Satan and his demons are the creators of sin, evil, and violence, they create it and manifest it into the physical dimension.  He has also blinded the eyes of the unbelievers so that they cannot see the truth of Jesus Christ, nor the things of God.

2 Corinthians 4:4

“In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.”

Satan is the ruler of the world, he has power over it and it’s inhabitants.  All those not believing in Jesus Christ are subject to Satan’s rule.

1 John 5:19

“We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.

Satan, the father of all lies, full of deceit and wickedness.  There is no truth in Satan or his demons.

John 8:44

“You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

Lies of Satan

Satan and his demons seek someone to devour, yes, even the believer in Jesus Christ.  Although when we are purchased with the blood of the Lamb and are sealed forever, Satan will still attempt to bring us down with him.

1 Peter 5:8

“Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”

John 10:10

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”

Unbelievers in Jesus Christ do not see the world as believers do, nor can they.  They have been blinded to the truth.  For them, everything has a logical explanation, and they believe that human wisdom will work things out.  However, this could not be further from the truth.

spiritual dimension

There are other dimensions in reality which are not of this physical world.  Dimensions which are spiritual in nature, they are in fact more real then the world we live in.

God and other creations of His live in this spiritual world or dimension.  Yes, even Satan and his demons live there.  There is much more to this dimension then we actually know about.  This dimension is real, it is alive, and it is very active.

The human mind of this world cannot comprehend what lies beyond our physical existence.  If it cannot be proven scientifically, then it must not exist.  This is the way of the world.  And amazingly, even though the world cannot prove evolution, they still believe it, nor can they prove the “Big Bang” Theory either, yet they still believe it.  It’s all lies and deception.

Unbelievers of this world see only what their eyes allow them to see, and hear only what their ears allow them to hear, all influenced by Satan himself.

However, there are times when God may give the unbeliever visions or dreams of the truth.  This has happened before, and I believe will happen more the closer we get to Christ’s return to earth.

The unbeliever’s view of the world we live in just seems like life as normal.  Nothing really unusual or out of the ordinary happening, and if there were then they could explain it all away.  Crisis, disaster, economic collapse, it all happened before and the world still exists, it will probably happen again.  These are the thoughts of most unbelievers, this is their attitude.

They believe that government will save them, that a “New World Order” is the answer, a “One World Government”, a “One World Religion”, where we can all worship the same god in our own way, after all, were all going to heaven, right?  Where everyone can marry whomever they choose, be it same-sex or man and woman, where anything goes, even the marriage of adult and child, of sex with animals, changing your sex from a man to a woman, or woman to man.  As long as everyone is happy!  Except of course for those intolerant and hateful Christians!  Who in the world do they think they are?!  Trying to tell us that God isn’t tolerant of our new morals and values!  We know what’s best for us, and we don’t need a god telling us how to live!

Sadly, I’ve heard of many Christian churches changing biblical morals and values to meet the demands of the public.  Even many churches performing same-sex weddings, and others melding their religion with Islam!  This is apostasy, and God will not be mocked!

Changing the laws, principles, and morals of God Almighty is not the answer my friends.  The answer is for society to change their ways in order to comply with God!

The time is soon coming for the wrath of God to be poured out upon the world.  Just how many of the world will see it coming before it’s too late?!

I pray for eyes and ears to be opened, for hearts to be softened, and for the lost to see the truth.  I pray for the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ to be made known to an unbelieving world.  In Jesus name I pray, Amen

God bless my friends!  Until next time….Maranatha!
