Cecil the lion, killed in cold blood! Millions of people around the world are outraged by such an atrocity. People are up in arms, protesting and crying out with a loud voice. Why in the world would anyone want to murder an innocent animal? Why?!
My question to them is why would anyone want to murder an innocent unborn child? Why?!
So many people are so upset over the killing of one lion, while millions of unborn children are being slaughtered each year. Why are these people so upset over the killing of a lion when babies, human beings, are being killed each day? If animal life is so important to them then they should be even more outraged at the murder of innocent human life! I’m not talking about just one human life, but millions of human lives each and every year!
The following is from Focus on the Family website:
“It’s estimated that around one million abortions take place annually and more than 51 million abortions have been performed in the U.S. since 1973 (based on accumulative data from the two primary sources of U.S. abortion statistics – Centers for Disease Control and Guttmacher Institute).”
I love animals, they are one of God’s creations. But how do we prioritize our values in life? What moves us to value one thing over another?
The Senate of the United States of America just stopped a ban on the funding of “planned parenthood”. What does this say about us as a nation, as a people? What are the values that we hold as sacred? Where do we as a nation place our trust? In whom do we look to for inspiration and hope?
When the morals and values of a nation become warped and twisted the nation is headed for trouble. When we as a people, as a nation, regard the life of an animal over the life of a human being, then the nation is close to disaster. When wickedness and evil become good, and good becomes evil, then society becomes more wicked and evil.
Evil begets more evil, just as an apple tree produces apples. We reap what we sow, and when we sow evil, we shall reap more evil. This is where we stand today in the United States and in the world. The evil is growing and multiplying, the world is becoming darker.
Christians are the light of the world, and when the world gets darker our light shines brighter. We need to shine our light into the darkness, bring a ray of hope to the lost.
While we are alive and hear on earth, we must stand for what is holy and right. We need to support the good and denounce what is evil. Abortion is evil, it is murder and it is wrong! The United States Senate was wrong in stopping the ban on funding to planned parenthood.
Say no to abortion! Make your voice heard and take a stand to fight against evil and violence. While here on this earth things will change, things will continue to get worse, however, we are here for a reason, for God’s will. That means standing for what is right, holy, and pure, standing for the values of God!
God bless my friends! Maranatha!
