Commentary By: Gordon King
This website covers the ills and discontent of the world. It brings to light the evil, the wickedness, and the horrors that are unfolding each day. The purpose of this is to inform people of the signs of the times. To show them the closeness of Christ’s return to earth. To show them that life is short, it is precious, and that it can be taken away in a split second!
This site was never meant to be a distraction from the truth. However, there may be some people who will get side tracked. They will focus on the events, on the evil and the destruction of the world. Rather, we all need to keep our focus on what really matters. That my friends is Jesus Christ!
While we should be watching for signs, we should be aware of what the world looks like and acts like, we should always keep our focus on God. He should always be our main focus!
As I have stated in previous posts, we all endure burdens of some sort or another. Some of us, it seems, have heavy burdens to bear. We can easily get side tracked and lose our focus. Instead of focusing on the world, or on our burdens in life, we should always keep God first and our focus on Him.
Our main focus should always be on God, not on the world, not on our burdens. When we mainly focus on the world or our burdens, then we make them first in our lives. We need to keep God first, He is the one to help us and to see us through!
When anyone comes to this site or another, it is up to each individual to prioritize their life. To know where they stand with God, and where He stands in their priorities. I am telling you now, you should always keep God at the top of your list, number one!
Jesus said: “Let not your hearts be troubled for I give you peace.”
“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
“You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. 4 Trust in the Lord forever, For in YAH, the Lord, is everlasting strength.”
The Lord God is our refuge, He is our strength. Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, mind, and soul. Keep your mind on God, centered on God and He will give you peace.
Just as we are to be in the world yet not of the world, we are to also watch the world yet keep our focus on God. Do not get side tracked, do not get off course. For these times are perilous and wicked. God is preparing His army of believers to live in these end times. He is strengthening us and giving us bold courage to endure and withstand. He is pouring out His Spirit upon the world in search of those who are willing to stand with Him. Will this be you?
It’s not what is in the world or what we have that matters. It’s not the house, the cars, the job, or even our spouse (although we love them and care about them), its God! It’s our relationship to and with Him that really matters. It’s our eternal destiny and life with God that matters. All that we now have will vanish and will only be for a short time. Our eternal relationship with God will last forever!
You can have all the money in the world, but you can’t take it with you! But you can build up for yourself treasures in heaven by and through your good works as a believer in Jesus Christ! Your heart is where your treasure is my friends.
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.“
Jesus tells us that the first and greatest commandment of all is this: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.”
God bless my friends, may you keep the Lord God first in all that you do!
