World View…better times ahead?!

Why does it seem that most of the secular world believes that we will see better times ahead?  That the evil in the world will somehow dissipate and disappear?  That what happened in the past will remain in the past?  That the evil which occurred hundreds or even thousands of years before will not return to modern times?  That somehow they will be safe in their own communities, in their own neighborhoods?

We already see be-headings happening now, which also occurred thousands of years before us.  We haven’t seen these in modern times until recently.  We are witnessing the stoning of men, women and children throughout the world.  This hasn’t happened much before in modern times, or at least it hasn’t been publicized.  I never remember hearing of these things happening while growing up.

These types of things just don’t happen in modern society, do they?  I mean, the world is now civilized, with good and upright morals and values.  Right?!

There also seems to be much more crime, murder, and abuse going on today.  Each day while scouring the news I come across people who are murdering family members, women, and children.  I hear of children murdering their parents.  We read about parents who are locking their children in rooms and basements, without food, water, or electricity.  Are these incidents increasing or are they just being publicized more often?

Too many women are either abandoning their babies or killing them, and I’m not even talking about abortion!  Although we have also seen a drastic increase in abortion as well.  This is murder, it is human sacrifice.  Thousands of years ago, even hundreds, human sacrifice was common.  Well, it seems that it is once again!

Homosexuality, almost unheard of in modern society 40 or 50 years ago, is now commonplace.  Most of the fifty states in America have legalized gay marriage.  Just before the fall of the Roman Empire, sexual perversion, immorality, and promiscuity was common.  That was their way of life.  And now we see it again.

We have to search very diligently in order to find any stability in the world today.  Most governments in the world today are on the brink of financial collapse.  Wars and rumors of wars are escalating worldwide.  Civil unrest is moving quickly.  Famine and starvation is on the rise.  Droughts and water shortages ravage the land.  Disease and pestilence with no known cures are spreading throughout the world.  Animals have been dying off in mass without an answer.  Earthquakes, volcanoes, and super storms continue to destroy and are increasing as the days go by.

What we are now seeing happen in the world today is a resurgence of evil and violence.  As in the days of Noah.  This will happen in the end times, Jesus told us that it would.  He told us to be watching for the signs of the times, just before His return to earth.

So how on earth can we be headed for better times?!  I mean what “magic bullet” is going to save the day?  What scientific break through will solve all of our ills?  The answer is:  there isn’t any!  The only answer is by believing in the one and only true God, Jesus Christ!

Don’t be deceived into believing that better times are ahead, they’re not!  Not unless you give your life to Jesus.  This will be the only way to have better times, now and forever more.

All of these things that I have mentioned above are leading to the return of Jesus Christ to earth.  Leading to the wrath of God, and to the judgment of the world.  Leading to the rapture of the church.  The time is short, our time here on earth is short.  Don’t delay, don’t put off what will be the most important decision of your life.  Accept Jesus Christ now as your personal Lord and Savior!
