…ch…ch…CHANGES! The World is Changing Quickly

Commentary By:  Gordon King

Changes.  The world is changing quickly.  For the past several days I have felt the Lord leading me, and guiding me into the unknown (to me).  I feel change coming to both myself and to the world in general.  I sense that big change is coming very soon.

Sure, you may think to yourself, there is always change, the world is constantly changing.  But this is different my friends.  I do not know what is coming tomorrow or the next day.  I see all of the evil and violence in the world, however, I sense that the Lord is telling me that big changes are coming soon.  That’s all I know at this time.

I also feel that things are changing in both the physical and spiritual realms.  That we have somehow crossed a line in the sand.  That there is no turning back.  This is how I am feeling in my spirit.  Maybe you don’t believe that the Lord can speak to us this way, that for some reason or another we just believe in God and are saved, and that’s all there is to it.  There is much more to it than that, more than “what meets the eye” so to speak.  The Lord speaks to us all of the time, the problem is “are we listening to Him”?

I believe that as Christians, we reach plateaus and levels in our walk with the Lord.  That once we reach a certain “peak”, He will lead us further in His will on a higher “level” or “plane” if you will.  Sort of like being in the military, we reach higher levels in rank.  I believe that this is also true for us spiritually speaking.  When we reach higher levels, then the Lord expects more from us.  We become more accountable to Him.  I have felt this move in levels before, and I think that maybe I am reaching another level in my walk with the Lord.  It may sound crazy to you, but to me it makes perfect sense.  This may not be exactly how it works, but we should and can move forward in our walk with the Lord.  And He does hold us more accountable the more that He places upon us.

2 Corinthians 5:10

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.”

For instance, pastors are held at a higher level, due to the fact that they are tending to the flock.  Whatever it is they are teaching will be presented before the Lord to be judged.

James 3:1

“Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness.”

I don’t know what will happen tomorrow, nor do I know where God will lead me.  But, I do know that things are changing.  I also know that the Lord wants me to focus more on devotion and teaching of His word, and not as much on the posting of evil and violence in the world.  I will continue to post current world events, but not quite as much or as often.  I will post more than I have in the past on devotion to the Lord, teachings of God’s word, and attempting to encourage and comfort our brothers and sisters in Christ; as well as leading the lost to salvation!

I feel that the Lord maybe leading me into another ministry, however, I am not certain of this yet.  I shall continue to pray about it and ask the Lord for His guidance and understanding.  As of this time I plan to continue blogging on this site.  However, if the Lord does lead me into another ministry or project, then I will have to make time for it.

What I would like to say at this time is that we all need encouragement.  We all need to know that God loves us and that He is always with us!  We all go through trials and tribulations in our life, and the closer our walk with the Lord, the more we will get attacked from demonic spirits.  Yet, the Lord is our protector, He is our Lord and our God.  He has already won the battle, and He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world!  Amen

Let us all give thanks to the One who has given us life!  He deserves all of the praise and worship that we can muster, and then some.  He deserves it all!  Jesus Christ, our Lord, our Savior, our Protector, and our Friend!

God bless my friends, until next time!  Maranatha!

  1. Yes, change in rulership of the world’s governments is soon to happen. The world is moving towards Jesus as Messiah and ruler of this world, we are on the track and there is no turning back or hindering this event.

  2. You have a wonderful ministry already Gordon, however, if God is leading you to start another-so be it. He will let you know. I will pray that God will keep a hedge of protection around you in whatever endeavor he has for you. God Bless.

  3. You already have a wonderful ministry, Gordon. If God has another one in mind, like you said, He will let you know. I will pray that God will put a hedge of protection around you and your ministry. We are living in dark times. God Bless.

  4. Like you Gordon, I too feel that something is coming, something truly world changing. I have had dreams and signs like never before. Since the passing of my sons I have prayed constantly for Jesus’ return, but more than that I have FELT his return is imminent. Your words ring true, for those who are listening….God is speaking, and his words are PREPARE for what is to come. I come to your page daily, for encouragement, inspiration and for validation that I am not the only one who believes that God is about to make himself known to the world. God Bless!

  5. Thank you Deb, it is very encouraging for me to hear from other believers who feel the way you do. Like I said, I feel the Lord leading me into something else, however, I am not sure what. Maybe it will be something in addition to this blog? If this site is a blessing to others, then I don’t believe that the Lord would have me stop.

On the other hand, maybe the Lord is not telling me to enter a new ministry. It is very unclear at this point. I need to hear from God to enlighten me, to give me wisdom and understanding. I do know that there have been things on my mind and heart to do for the Lord. Maybe He is guiding me to do these things. I do know that He wants me to share His word more, and to preach more on salvation to the lost.

Thank you for your encouragement and prayers Deb, they are always needed in these times. God bless, Maranatha!

  6. Thanks for your words of encouragement Carole. It really helps me in knowing that I am on the right path and headed in the right direction!

The world is so full of evil, violence, disaster and confusion, that a believer needs to take a step back once in a while to look at the whole picture. I too have felt the imminent return of Christ for several years now. We must remember that our time is not His time, what seems like forever for us is but a mere second for Him.

I am not sure where the Lord is leading me, or that if I do begin another ministry (or a project) for the Lord, I will more then likely continue with this blog. If it is a blessing to others then I don’t see the Lord telling me to stop, in fact just the opposite. I am asking God for His guidance and wisdom on this matter.

We all need encouragement and inspiration Carole, especially in these trying times. And it’s only going to get worse from here on out!

Take care Carole and God bless!

  7. I whole heartily agree with you Gordon, change is in the air. A portal has been open and evil and lawlessness is everywhere. As you point out everyday. As elected officials all over the world unite to address the growing fear of terrorism. Let’s pray an angel is in their mist for clarity and the mentioning of Bible prophecy in their debate. May hearts be converted to God’s word.
Lets keep ourselves connected to the source of peace and love. Our only true friend and Lord, Jesus Christ, who has our best interest at heart..
We all need positive encouragements. God has the power to sustain us through all of what’s happening in our personal life, in what’s happening in the world and what’s coming. Let’s be strong in our convictions, (even though at times it may be difficult to forge on) we must not loose faith.
I pray He gives you Gordon, the wisdom and strength to continue to proclaim “‘…the Kingdom of God is at hand, Repent Ye, and Believe the Gospel”’. Mark 1:15 I pray He inspires you with more confidence to unfold His grace and convey the pages of Scripture. I pray He fortifies you to continue without hindrance to you personally and this website. I pray all this and more in Jesus’ precious name, Amen.
“Therefore do not let your good be spoken of as evil for the kingdom of God is…righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.” Rom.14:16,17
In choosing who you serve, determines the outcome of your life here and when Jesus returns. There is only good or evil. One either Loves ‘thy neighbor as thyself’ or not. One either Loves ‘God with all thy heart’ or not. The choice is individual and personal between you and God. You are either for Him or against Him. “He that is not with me is against me.” Matt.12:30/Luke 11:23 Choose wisely.
“For in much wisdom is much grief, And he who increases knowledge increases sorrow.” Ecc.1:18 We have been forewarn, do not let the world unnerve you for it is written that these things must happen. Let us always keep our head high, our heart on Jesus and looking toward the heaven’s for Our Lord cometh! Always in prayer with Him who empowers us, hearten’s our hearts to His will. We are God’s children. Stride to always do good even in times of hardship. “‘For anyone who wants to save his life will lose it; but anyone who loses his life for My sake, and for the sake of the gospel, will save it.'” James 4:15 God bless us all.
    Thank you Gordon.

  8. Thank you Anonymous, for your words of encouragement and for your prayers, always needed my friend! You speak words of wisdom and truth. God is with us always, He can do anything and through Him we can also accomplish anything according to His will. Amen
