A simple message of Love

caring sharing helping giving God is loveCommentary By: Gordon King

Living in the world means going out into the world.  It means interacting and communicating with other people living in and of the world.  Like I said before, it can be very difficult for Christians to discern right from wrong, from being in the world and not part of the world.

We must, as Christians, involve ourselves with worldly people.  We must share the love, have mercy and forgiveness to them.  Whatever wrongs they have done, whatever sins they are actively doing, we need to show them love and kindness.  This isn’t always easy.  And it doesn’t mean to participate in sinful secular activities, that’s not what I mean.  But, we need to love them, as Christ first loved us!

God loves everyone, and to everyone He gives the opportunity for salvation and the forgiveness of sins.  It is through us that He shines, that He shows the world His mercy and grace.

So let us not forget why we are here.  It’s not to boast about who we are, but to show the world that they are loved.  That God is real, that He loves them, and that they can also share in God’s grace and have eternal life.

Help the needy, comfort the hurting, feed the hungry, spread the love!  God is love, so go out and spread the love of God.  Amen

God bless my friends!

  1. Totally agree Gordon. Love is the answer. “And He answering said, ‘Thou shalt LOVE thy Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all the soul and with all the strength, and with all thy mind and thy neighbor as thyself.'” Luke 10:27KJV
The real warfare is spiritual but sometimes the challenge moves to the physical. And here we are in this corrupt and evil world. The world is bleeding to death with all its issues and calling for a one world government, as if this will fix it all. Yet God’s grace is sufficient, His strength is made perfect in weakness. (see 2Cor.12:9) Hang in there with brotherly love. Our reward in heaven will be all the sweeter.
“Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you. 2Cor.12:11 “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.” 2Cor.13:14NKJV Let us stand united in the assurance and strength of Our Lord.

  2. The world is bleeding with all the issues facing it. And no trust is found in anyone or anywhere as nations and kingdoms of people continue to reject God’s grace. People are numb, disenchanted, weary of all the challenges; everyone is confounded on what to do, how to reverse it. We go on making a living, existing day by day as if by habit and nothing more. What we must do IS keep living, keep pushing on, not give up… because of these trials.
The Good Book tells us ‘when you see these things happen’… Hang on to the one thing that is sure, constant, the One person who’s Holy and never changes, His name is, “…Wonderful, Counselor, Thy Mighty God, Thy Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” Isa.9:6 Savior, friend is Our Lord Jesus Christ. As in the days of old God IS with us – Immanuel.
Trust. Trust as in Job who lost everything and practically his life, but triumph through it all by TRUSTING God. He gives and taketh away (through disobedience) and restores (through repentance) to those who love Him. “In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sin, according to the riches of His grace.” Eph.1:7
Stop and get to know the Lord. He is all that is good and just. He knows best! Accepted it, Believe it. In letting Him rule your life even though it might be hard to keep going, He gives us peace, security to forge ahead, knowing just a little longer till the world has had a chance to know him/hear of Him (Matt.24:14), His return IS sure.
We must try to deal honestly and honorably with fellowman through these actions, you at least plant the seed of love, if not in the individual then to others around him. Arguing and making a fuzz to those that ‘don’t get it’ serves no purpose, doesn’t teach – let your actions speak for you. Practicing peace. Spreading the word, in some cases first through action then by mouth to those who want/care to hear. True peace comes from practicing God’s ways, patience, understanding, humility, LOVE… Till His return and forever in the new heavens and the new earth that is surely coming soon. The Lord ask me to tell you. Be strong in His LOVE. God bless. Thank you Gordon, may Our Lord bless you richly in everything you do.
