Merry Christmas!

the birth of Christ copyCommentary By:  Gordon King

What can I say but “Merry Christmas”!

Let us not forget what the celebration of this day truly means.  The propitiation between man and God.  Jesus Christ is the propitiation for the sins of the world.  He is the sacrifice made, in order to reconcile man back to God.  For man to once again be able to walk with God, to talk to God, and to commune with God.  To once again give us the relationship which was made in the beginning, the way it was meant to be!

The birth of our Savior into this world, born of a virgin.  God in the flesh, as man, yet without blemish.  The perfect sacrifice for a fallen world.  He knew no sin, yet became sin because He loves us.  He took all of our sin upon Himself, then gave His life for us so that we may know Him and live with Him forever.

Jesus Christ is Love!

Let’s not get so wrapped up in our gifts, in decorative trees, in feasting, that we forget what this day represents.  Jesus Christ, the true meaning of Christmas!

Thank you God for your Sacrifice to us, for the grace and mercy you have given us.  Thank you for your unconditional love, your forgiveness, and your kindness.  Thank you for the gift of eternal life and the washing away of our sins.  I thank you, I bless you, and I worship you only!  In Jesus name I pray, Amen

God bless my friends and Merry “CHRIST”mas!
