(SOURCE) – The infant found inside the tank of a toilet at a Waikiki hotel in November was murdered.
The medical examiner’s office Thursday confirms that the newborn discovered in a room at the Sheraton Waikiki on November 26 was suffocated to death.
Her 32-year-old mother, who was visiting from Korea, was arrested that night but released two days later pending further investigation.
Police have opened a 2nd-degree murder investigation.
