(SOURCE) The Maryland State Fire Marshall said one person was injured when a storage shed exploded in Carroll County early Saturday morning.
Spokesman Bruce Bouch said 11 homes received damage from the explosion in the 200 block of Sullivan Road in Westminster. Bouch said an injured man, 56, was taken to Johns Hopkins Medical Center in Baltimore.
Westminster Fire Department spokesman Kevin Dayhoff said the explosion occurred before 6 a.m. Sunday. When crews arrived, there was no fire. Sixty firefighters responded to the scene.
No additional information about the cause of the explosion or the identity of the person injured.
